SYNOPSIS —» bullet hcs of muu and reader going on an arcade date.

let me just start by saying that it wasn't that hard to convince muu to go to the arcade. sure, it took a few tries and you had to promise to take her out for ice cream after, but not that difficult..! (read: it took three weeks of begging and it was very difficult.)

so when she agreed, you were gonna make sure she had the most fun she'd ever have at that damned arcade.

you showed up at her house, dressed in your nicest casual attire, bought a bouquet of yellow roses and waited very patiently for her to come out. when she did, you graciously took her hand and accompanied her all the way to the arcade.

since you were being so nice to her, Muu thought it would only be fair to let you pick the games you both were going to play.

big mistake.

turns out, Muu is terrified of bumper cars. and most arcade games. she just hid behind you while you threw balls at clown heads most of the trip. it was kind of cute.

but, you can't just let your girlfriend stand there and not do anything. so like any logical person would — you took her to the least scary game imaginable.

the claw machine.

Muu squealed at the sight of the massive claw. she was already so terrified. the thing made her cry a little.

after reassuring her that it was okay, you offered to try and win a plushie for her.

thats when Muu caught a glimpse of a little fish plush in the dead centre of the pile.

much to your surprise, she seemed more excited to try it out.

so she did! ...and got the plush after 18 tries! and ran back to you 12 times to cry on your shoulder!

One of the main reasons people seem to be mad about the Haruka Sakurai being 23 years old thing is that if Muu is 16, then that’s… BAD?! AND… PROSHIP?!

First of all, in Japan, the legal age of consent is 16 and spoiler alert, Milgram takes place in… JAPAN… and JAPANESE laws are heavily referenced. (I am not defending this but understand when engaging with another country’s media, you are engaging with another country’s laws and society. Same way an American wouldn’t expect other countries to accept their gun laws, you don’t have to accept Japan’s age and consent laws but you cannot erase them).

Harumuu was never to be portrayed a cute or healthy relationship. You are all the issue for glorifying that relationship if anything. Throughout Milgram, Muu has shown that she takes advantage of the fact Haruka would do anything for her, sees her as a mother figure, and uses that to boost her own ego and self worth to others. HARUMUU WAS NEVER GOOD OR HEALTHY.

If it takes Haruka being revealed as a 23 year old man getting in relations with a 16 year old girl to realize that their relationship is toxic… you lack severe media literacy because throughout Milgram their relationship has been shown as concerning and toxically codependent.

And no, cute stuff in Minigram does not count because Minigram is a spinoff of Milgram. It has been labeled as that forever.

♪ when muu starts to fall asleep (and she does so without any warnings, she can easily fall asleep in the middle of her sentence), she pulls you closer and you can feel her hugging you tighter and tighter. if you even try to resist, she will mumble something that sounds a lot like "don't go.." while still asleep (probably), so. yeah, you can't leave her now. you just sigh and wish her good night and don't even notice how you start falling asleep as well. you also don't notice how a small smile appears on her face.
