I remember an Ace Attorney ask blog and when Phoenix was confirmed to be in MVC3U there were lots of asks regarding that and Phoenix not being happy about it whatsoever.
To be honest with you, I don't think I'd be best pleased if I got dropped in a fighting game where I had to go up against superheroes and otherworldly demons...

I actually think Phoenix Wright would work poorly in Smash. Just with the whole fighting system I think translating him would go poorly as a whole.
He works really well in Marvel Vs Capcom because of the way that game is set up, the 3 v 3 one on one fight makes limits that only benefit him there.
Be more mad he wasn't in MvCI than Smash because my dude was perfect in MvC3U
#He's the best joke character of all time#Because if you let him gather his evidence he's like one of the best characters in the game#It's so fucking funny#Phoenix Wright#Mvc3#Marvel vs capcom 3#Smash Bros

Fightstick anon, you play any fighters besides Skull girls?
Got Street Fighter 2 on the SNES, been playing The Last Blade on FightCade with a buddy recently, and I intermittently play King of Fighters ‘98 Ultimate Match, 2002 Unlimited Match, and XIII on Steam. I’ve also been meaning to crack into MvC3U and both Persona 4 Arena titles, as well as reinstalling Scarlet Weather Rhapsody and Hisoutensoku.

It wasn’t too long ago Matt Dahlgren, who was the Senior Product Manager and had been with Capcom for nearly years, had left. Now, Peter “COMBO FIEND” Rosas, has left the company as well. Peter, joined Capcom in 2012 after a promising fighting game career. Eventually, in 2012, he going up…
