I haven't read many with all or most of them but I'd love too!!

Or any that are a good intro to all the people? Theres someone in the rp who hasn't really interacted with much Percy stuff so I wanna make sure she knows the dynamic and characters :)

But there are a lot in bits and pieces, more of Percy and Oliver's dynamics. You could just search Percy/Oliver in ao3 and there's a lot of great fics. They are kind of the main couple in the this side of the fandom.

I think good old-fashioned lover boy is a good way to start, even though I haven't finished it, I really enjoyed their dynamic and it's really fun. And it's a lot of people's fav fic, and I trush their judgement.

If I'm being honest, I think that all of them are united by Percy so he's going to be kind of the main focus. And I don't have a lot of platonic ships saved but @armadilloradio has really good ficlets about Oliver, Penny and Percy. You should check them out.

This one, is more Penny&Percy centered. A lot of people (for what I can see) see their relationship as soulmates, this can be platonic or romantic. This one specifically is kind of againsty but I think that represents pretty well how deep their love for each other went. More in Percy's perspective but I can assure you that Penny would feel the same and maybe even stronger.

This ficlet is more playful and more casual.

There is this percivelope (Oliver x Penny x Percy) ficlet that I find that represents their relationship pretty good. I have to say that it's kind of suggestive, but it's light (imo).

I can't say that I know any good flintwood fic because I don't really read that. But to give you an idea, they are frenemies. They are rivals on the pitch but really competitive friends everywhere else. I think 'cause you know i love the players, and you love the game is really good for that concept. It's not strictly flintwood but more Marcus x Percy x Oliver, so you can see how they interact with each other.

There is also this ficlet with most of the Academic Disaster members. It's not difficult to find content in bits, but as a whole it quite difficult, specially for Audrey as she is a minor MINOR character in canon and doesn't actually have any type of trait that can characterize her.

I like to see her as a mix of all them (Pen, Perce, Ollie and Marcus). She is caotic like them but not as caotic. She participates in tehir adventure but is more calm and colected than the rest. She complements them well. Having fun and knows when to stop.

Also she's like the only non neurodivergent in my mind but you can do whatever.

That's how I see her. I haven't seen much of her in fiction but she's so blank in canon that she can be interpreted so wildly different that you'd be better off without any idea of how she is. It's like a canon oc that you can have tbh

There's also Ced, Cho and Roger as more secondary friends? They are a trio on their own but they are included in the Academic Disaster group. The one that gets involved the most is Ced. Mostly becasue he was Percy's neighbour so he's more present than the rest. There's a few fics of them but he's like a chill guy that likes to be there but doesn't stick much.

Then is Cho, she's more of Penny's friend than the rest of the main Academic Disaster. I haven't seen fics where she has any real role so she's more or less like Audrey (except she does have more personality, just a bit) Penny and Cho have a "you're not gonna belive what happen" type of relationship. Started by gossip and stayed for the fun time. It's like that one friend from other school that you are really close with.

And for last, Roger. I have a beef with this man because I don't think he has any canon traits to him except brief mentions but the few fics I've read where he was present and with a dialogue he was a jerk. So based in my experience with him, he is a jokester that's a bit dense to notice that his jokes didn't land and is a bit abnoxious. It's like a likable jerk ig. He's Oliver's and Marcus' friend for all the captain thing (also Ced's but I'd be talking about main group).

I think he is a bit separeted from all, not that they don't get along but because he has his own friend group outside. His third wheeling with Ced and Cho and he doesn't see the main AD to be close. He does get alone fine with all the captains so it's cool.

(completely opinionated but true)

izzy and noah (platonic!) - it’s like calm in the chaos storm, and i know izzy would bring out the part of noah that nobody else can. they have a few moments on the show that show their genuine friendship and trust in each other, mainly becoming friends on tdwt.

NoCo (romantic!)- although they don’t have a lot of screen time, the few moments they do have show friendship, not hatred or distrust, nothing seems one-sided either. the relationship is very much left open for interpretation, and you yourself are able to shape the relationship to your own liking based on their personalities.

geoff and gwen (platonic!)- although i don’t like gwen very much, geoff brings out her good side. she’s happier around him, even though we really only see them together in one episode, it tells a lot about their friendship. they would def get high and watch movies and eat snacks together. geoff is so laid back he could care less about any of her flaws.

duncan and harold (romantic/platonic)- this one may be controversial to some, but i personally love this dynamic. it appeals to the enemies to lovers troupe as well as the nerd x punk bully troupe. their friendship picks up eventually, and it shows they even work good together.

scott and courtney (romantic!)- once again controversial, but the snobby daddys girl x country boy has such a great appeal to me, and i never really liked duncney. they had great chemistry in the show (though they did move kind of fast) and i feel if mal never interfered then they would’ve had a good relationship after getting to know each other better.

coderra (platonic!)- although sierra is insane, she’s still one of my fav characters and you can really tell how cody’s perception of her shifts towards the end of tdwt, and he starts to see her as a friend. this is honestly built off headcannons, but i feel after the competition sierra calms down and they become best friends. (sierra was derailed in all stars we pretend all stars sierra didn’t happen)

team e-scope (platonic)- i know i already mentioned izzy and noah, but team e-scope is legendary, their personalities clash and click at the same times in the perfect ways. we only see them one episode but it’s obvious from their interactions that they’re the perfect trio. they would have the best sleepovers fr.

chris and chef (ROMANTIC!!)- they’re so perfect for each other, have lots and lots and lots of screen time together, showing not only how much they care for each other but their tension as well. you can almost see how they grow closer over the seasons.

gwuncan (romantic/platonic)- i honestly don’t like either of them very much but i love their chemistry and find it appealing in a ship, especially since it’s cannon. guy with toxic ex girlfriend falls for her friend. would be perfect if executed correctly.

jo and brick (romantic!)- jsjdbsjsb i luv them sm. brick is adorable and puts on a facade of being a tough guy, jo just breaks that down. they fit perfectly in the rivals to lovers troupe. brick has a need to be dominated (stated by dawn) and jo likes to be in charge, it couldn’t be more perfect. they have a lot of screen time together, and seem more like friends than rivals at some points.

gwourtney (romantic!)- tbh perfect for each other literal soulmates

alenoah (romantic!)- not sure why this one appeals to me as much as it does, but i really like the dynamic, similar to the aleheather dynamic.

trent and duncan (romantic!)- pretty much all their screen time is them hating each other and i love it.

katie and sadie (romantic!)- tbh they are kind of annoying but let’s go lesbians!!

2. favorite one of the game youve played?

i am a gates stannie to my grave and nothing will change that. 

truth be told, i actually didn’t want to play gates when it first came out! my sister got the game, and when she eventually let me play it, i didn’t give it back. gates has been my favorite since when i finished the game for the first time, and i’m very grateful she “lent” (it’s been almost 10 years) it to me.

ironically, my sister’s favorite game is explorers. 

3. fav partner character?

gates again!! super is a close second but i love the gates partner so, so much. there’s just no way i can’t not like them. gates was the game that really hammered the idea that “optimism isn’t stupid or a waste of time, and by extension cynicism/negativity isn’t deep or profound by default” into me, and partner was a big part of that. seeing them just pick themselves up over and over again and inspire the people around them to start believing in themselves and the world again, even when their own life has been hard just. it really hits different. 

and my gates partner specifically, axel, is one of my favorite characters of mine. he looks kinda mean and intimidating but he’s big sweetie and i just adore him. he and úrsula (my gates hero) are my favorite pmd duo. they work so well together and i love them both to pieces. 

6. how do you interpret gengar and gardvoirs relationship post game?

oo okay this is a toughie. granted i have not finished rt postgame but i have watched some walkthroughs. 

i don’t really think there is one, to be all that honest. one of my gardevoir hcs is that she manipulated hero into coming to the pokemon world, but obviously now she doesn’t remember that, and she doesn’t remember gengar, so like. there isn’t really much of anything there. maybe i need to play rescue team again (or finish dx bc i haven’t done that yet), but i feel like gengar would be happy from a distance. 

maybe he feels like he doesn’t deserve to have a relationship with gardevoir anymore. or maybe he’s guilty for bringing her to a world where she doesn’t remember anything or anyone. bc like every interaction they have, even if she doesn’t remember anything, he does, and i think that’s just gotta eat gengar up from the inside. he still has to live with what he did. 

9. what do you ship in the games? just like. in general.

HERO X PARTNER I WILL SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS!!! a truly s-tier ship!! it works platonically and romantically!! you can have any dynamic you want!! it’s kinda canon!! literally it’s perfect i’m a huge sucker for hero x partner. 

my favorite hero x partner ship?? gates duo of course!! úrsula and axel are best friends to lovers and i want what they have. they’re really cute together and i need to draw them more bc they make my heart go doki doki

other than hero x partner? guildshipping (wigglytuff and chatot), sunflora x loudred (idk the name for them),  and umbreon x keldeo. guildshipping is self explanatory i think. as for sunflora and loudred, i just love the whole “>:( but still looking out for each other” dynamic they have going on. i think it’d take them forever to confess to each other but once they do, they’d be stuck like glue to each other. i like couples that are kinda >:( ngl

as for umbreon and keldeo, it’s really based more on personal hcs i have for them, but i think they would just have a lot of banter back and forth with each other over entercard research and im a sucker for couples with banter. also potential rivals to lovers. doing research together. i just think they’re neat!!
