Six characters MK's from LMK AU's to make fanart of, for enrichment and practice, final!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Possessed MK AU requested by: @sc6rl3t
New Past AU MK by: @lululocomo | Requested by: @estellardreams
Harbinger MK AU requested by: @milkywaypudding
Shadowpeach Bio Parents Second Star AU MK by: @kyri45 | Requested by: @writing-heiress & @goldentigereyemania
EPICTM Legendary AU MK by: @ducky-dawn47
If you requested something and I didn't do it/have a request in mind, then I'll likely draw it for round 2 or just for fun at some point!!
This is a list of summaries for every AU
Champion of Destiny:
MK got possessed long before his first fight with the Lady Bone Demon. A curse was whispered between those harsh words she sewed into his mind that day in Spider Queens lair. And what makes a better champion than a king or a warrior? Something absolute, something destined, someone crafted by a goddess herself.
A harbinger.
-
The New Past:
"After getting in the Pillar of Heaven, the cycle end and MK cannot go back home. With the help of Nuwa and the color stone, he was send to the next cycle so he could live a new life without the burden of being the harbinger of chaos.
MK, now fully a mystic monkey, arrived in this new cycle at the time of Journey to the West, but he have no idea at what point of the book he is! Is it during the pilgrimage? or way before?? he don't know for now, but he will soon know."
-
Nuwa's Path, True Meaning of Sacrifice:
With every beginning comes an end. Such is the world's cycle, written by the pen of a lone child. The little Harbinger awakens and is thrown into the end of the world. Powerful malicious demons roam a mortal world that has been abandoned by its heros, and the Harbinger fights to survive until he reaches his purpose. Or nearly dies to the Lady Bone Demon.
He finds sanctuary on Flower Fruit Mountain, where the Monkey King protects his kingdom from chaos. Even if it means adopting it 🥴
-
Shadowpeach Bio Parents Second Star:
After the events of last year, including becoming accidental fathers, fighting heaven, and figuring out parenting through personal development, Macaque and Wukong decide that it's time for their own take on Nuwa's idea. They're ready to create a kid by themselves, and MK gets a new sibling that he's definitely gonna ignore his parents for!
-
Legendary:
"A world where Wukong and Liu'er were separated very differently from Canon, and where Demonic and Celestial Courting is far more important to the Legend of the Monkie Kid.
Follow the Monkey Trio as they navigate a world of heartache, persecution, harassment, retribution, justice, and eventually...
Reunion."

Yo dabbles! Any chance we can get another chapter of Summoned Demon please?? I love the misunderstandings.
Bruce tracks down the demon to one of Joker's old hideouts, figuring that it would gravitate to locations where large amounts of violence and fear had been ingrained in the ground. He was already en route to the area when Babs had radioed in the encounter with the two other kidnapped male teenagers- Liam Ayton and Frederek Furey.
It seemed Frederek had fainted after the demon had fallen from the sky in front of them, bringing with it the unsettling feeling and horrific language. Raven had claimed that it was a familiar thing high-level demons did to humans- their very presence was uncanny enough, it set off every survival instinct in the human mind. There was no real reason to suspect a disguised high-level demon, but humans were still always able to sense that something was seriously wrong when one was near - the dread was almost always unbearable.
Bruce would have claimed that the demon they were chasing could only affect untrained people, but he had felt the unease himself back at the cave when the demon had made eye contact with him. The only one who seemed not to be overly affected by its presence was the young lady, Molly Evergreen, but John claimed it was because the girl had magic in her blood, even if she could not wield it.
Magic gave humans a slight shield.
On the other side of the scale, Frederek's blood was as closed off to magic as possible and thus made him highly vulnerable to the demon's presence. Worse, Frederek's reaction was far more extreme this time than when the demon was first summoned, which, according to Phantom Stranger and Madame Xanadu, only indicated that the demon was somehow getting stronger.
Madame Xanadu theorized that it was why the demon was visiting all his sacrifices - it was gaining power from them. Since it hadn't just taken them, it was also likely trying to see which among the offerings was the best deal. Right now, Frederek was the highest, due to the intense fear he reacted with.
Fear made the demons stronger.
They could use Frederek as bait, if it came down to it.
Unfortunately, this was the first time the boy had been out of his house since the kidnapping two days ago, and it had taken Liam hours to convince him to walk down the street for a simple ice cream.
At least that's what Liam reported as the paramedics looked over Frederek. Bruce couldn't ask Frederek to be the lure, not after the traumatic event had such a profound effect on him.
And Bruce was starting to suspect that the demon wasn't trying to be harmful. It could help that humans' natural instincts were put off by its aura. Bruce had felt that the demon acted too much like a scared child, even if every member of the Justice League Dark (plus Raven and Diana) all claimed that it was just trying to trick him.
Bruce was smart enough to know he was no expert in this field, so he had no right to doubt them, but... something just felt off about what it's done so far.
Duke was already on the scene, alongside Steph, getting interviews from the witnesses present. Like all witness reports, the significant events were similar, but a few details differed among them. There seemed to be two groups: one who claimed the demon boy had been scared away by the large crowd, and another who claimed the demon boy had left after it failed to take Federek's soul, having left due to boredom.
Bruce had latched onto the part where the demon had found a nearby poster- the kind of posters that people put up to remind kids to be careful while crossing the street, since the ice cream shop was so close to the elementary school, and pointed to the line "Call 911 if you have an emergancy!"
To him, it sounded like the demon had left because it had gotten what it wanted- medical assistance.
Pulling up to the old amusement park, Bruce jumped out of the Batmobile, programming it to find itself on standby in case he needed to make a quick getaway. The amusement park closed down long ago, but the owners never bothered to clean up, leaving behind half-crumpled rides and overgrown weeds as the only reminders. Bruce himself only visited the park once in its glory days - his parents had taken him there for his seventh birthday - but spent a lot of time here as a teenager.
As always, the Park felt unnerving; rumor had it that the reason the park owners had to close down was due to the large number of hauntings that plagued the business. As a teenager, Bruce would be dared by various classmates to spend the night; it was almost a rite of passage among Gothimantes to attempt to conquer the whole night. And even then, Bruce had felt something off about this place.
Then the Joker took it over, and the feeling not only intensified, but the amusement park grew increasingly dangerous due to the living conditions. No one bothers coming in here now, even with the Joker behind bars.
Bruce glances around, searching for any clues of the demon, feeling eyes prickling him from all corners of the amusement park. The Waynes and Kanes weren't ones for magic, but he had trained his body to increase its awareness of the paranormal just in case.
He would never have the gift like Ms. Molly, but he knew multiple eyes were on him. From where, from whom, were questions beyond his reach, but Bruce knew they were there.
Though he also knew that they weren't strong enough to physically affect the living world, and thus, he didn't need to worry about them. He did notice that the feeling was far more intense from the direction of the amusement park, in the same way he could sense multiple wolves hiding in the woods.
Bruce turned his head in that direction, noticing that a few of the weeds had been crushed in that area. Moving over, he crouches low, running his hand against the concrete, finding different shades of dirt than those of the surroundings lingering on the cracked, grey ground.
These were the fresh tracks, and they led all the way to the Fun House, where he sensed the strongest feeling of forboding.
The demon was inside. He narrows his eyes in thought, considering the laughing clown head. His hand hovers over his magic flair- a stone strapped to his belt that, when he tapped four times, would send out a signal to all the stones connected to the runes engraved into it.
Raven had handed them over to the team when they all split up to cover more ground. Apparent Demons may affect regular communications, as devices suddenly malfunction in their presence, as Babs proved when all the street cameras in areas where they suspected the demon was present started to glitch.
All Bruce had to do was call backup, and the Justice League Dark would be here in the snap of a finger. They would be able to capture the demon and put it back in a cage within an hour (If they caught it before it got back to its full power)
Bruce thought about the blurry videos of the demon—the boy—waiting in the police interrogation room, sipping water and waiting patiently. The way it fought to get Frederek medical attention. It had multiple chances to steal those poor sacrificial kids the cultist took, but did nothing but attempt to speak to them.
Mostly Bruce thought about the way the demon-the boy- looked when he realized he as in a cage inside the Batcave.
His wide eyes, which may have made Bruce feel like he was on the verge of madness, could not hide the way the demon had now appeared as a lost little boy, now that he was able to process the scene without his emotions or first instincts getting in the way.
Bruce's hand fell to his side as he strode over to the Funhouse carefully. He might be a fool, but he became Batman to protect children from the darkness of this city, and not being human wouldn't stop him from keeping his promise as Batman.
The feeling of foreboding increased with each step he took. The temperature was dropping the closer he got to the Funhouse, almost as if he stepped into a walk-in refrigerator. He was grateful that he had had the foresight to make his suit equipped for the temperature drop after the many fights with Freeze, even if he felt more and more spirits becoming aware of him.
Eventually, he found himself in front of the door, pushing it open slowly. The old thing creaked loudly, almost jarring with the way it echoed in the otherwise silent amusement park. The feeling of danger, fear, and death blew out of the doorway as if those were clouds of smoke.
Bruce clamped down on every ounce of his training to prevent himself from reacting to the avalanche of survival instincts screaming at him to run. Instead, he forced himself to focus his gaze inside and found the demon sitting cross-legged in the center of the room, scribbling on the ground with a piece of burned charcoal.
Behind him were smoldering barrels - he had set them on fire to make his writing utensil, it seemed.
His face was smeared with black stains, alongside his hands and clothes, but he didn't seem to care as he carefully studied a propped-up book near his knee. Bruce remained where he was, watching the demon flip through the page, seemingly unaware he was there.
Oddly, the demon squinted at the pages as if he could make heads or tails of it, glancing over his shoulders, and speaking in that familiarly unnervering language of his to the empty spaces. Then he carefully wrote on the floor, squinting even harder, sticking out his tongue as he concentrated.
The action was so human that Bruce knew he had made the right choice, not calling the others.
The demon's handwriting was atrocious, scraping against the stone floor in loud scraping sounds, as he unevently formed the letters. Bruce felt like he was watching a toddler trying desperately to learn to write.
The demon just finished his last letter before his head snapped up, and he locked eyes with Bruce's mask lens. At once, the green of its eyes invaded his mind as screaming started up in the far corners of Bruce's mind. His instincts weren't just screaming anymore, they were howling, begging, ripping themselves apart just to get away from the demon.
Just as he was about to take a step back, Bruce willed everything he had ever learned from the Tibetan monks to help him break out of the fear-induced gaze, forcing his body to uncoil and glance down at the words.
They were upside down, so with careful, slightly sluggy steps, Bruce walked forward. It feels a lot like he was walking through honey, but he keeps his eyes down, away from the demon-child's until he crotches down in front of the black marks, and they turn into wobbly writing he can read.
I need help. I am a child, and I've been kidnapped by cultists. I just want to go home. I'm scared.
Bruce glances up at the child, only to find the demon has scrambled to a corner of the room, pressing himself desperately against the wall, staring at him with evident fear on his young face. It was almost as if Batman were the demon appearing in front of a young human.
Good heavens, how did he ever doubt that fear was a lie?
"You're safe now. I swear to you." He says in the steadiest voice he can muster while holding out a hand to help the boy off the ground. "You're safe."
The demon's green eyes flicker to the space near Bruce's right, before he uncoils a little. Hesitantly, the boy climbs to his feet, slowly getting closer to him. He opens his mouth, letting out that horrid sound hissing again, and Bruce hears his mother's scream behind his eyes as well as screams of strangers, but he refuses to react.
He can control when his heart stops; he can also force it to slow down and keep himself calm. The boy kept looking to the right, as if seeking comfort from it - must be a ghost of a human soul.
Suddenly, the boy launches himself at Bruce, grabbing onto him with a gasping cry, hiding his face in the Bat Symbol. Bruce wraps his arms around the boy, feeling his heart clench.
"You're safe." He repeats softly.
For a minor second, in the corner of his eye, Bruce swears he sees the outline of a man and a woman. The woman's face is half hidden behind a hand; he can't make out her other features, but the man's self-satisfied smirk is familiar.
The pair is gone as quickly as they came, but Bruce swears he just saw Tom Wayne, his great-grandfather's younger brother. He was one of Bruce's first cold cases that he solved as Batman, and sometimes he swore his great-great-uncle liked to follow him around Gotham when he patrols.
But he was never sure, after all, Bruce doesn't have the natural talent to sense the paranormal. Just his human survival instincts ramped up to their highest degree on command. All those times he felt his Tom around could have just been his mind playing tricks on him due to the side effects of anxiety that came with forcing his body to ramp up said instincts.
The nearby book fell over, and Bruce realized it was a dictionary by the brief flash of the cover before it slid right in front of him, open wide.
The first word he sees is "Storge"

There is a episode of justice league ultimate where Batman Wonder Woman and Green Lantern go 50 years into the future because a guy made a time traveling belt in his garage and tried to take something from the watchtower for his “collection”
Anyway I was just thinking about this episode in particular and how a time traveling villain vs Danny Fenton (because of course this is a dcxdp idea) where the villain keeps stopping and starting time and it doesn’t effect Danny at all and in frustration the villain asks “why isn’t this working on you!?”
And Danny, ever the harbinger of chaos shrugs and says, “nepotism, maybe?” And punches the guy in the jaw.

Reincarnation Everlasting Trio Part 1 (DPxDC)
(I started this when my idle brain was disassociating on a job that I don't dislike but my boss is an ass, so go me, yey!)
And look at that! I managed to finish Part 1 just in time for Valentine's day!
Part 1 (you're here!) | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
Prompt: TUE happened (the timeline is a bit messed up, tho, so not everything followed the number of the episodes), but Clockwork didn't reverse the second explosion.
Danny, not wanting history to repeat itself, fakes his death along with his family and friends in the Nasty Burger and after ransacking the lab plus destroying the Portal (& FentonWorks since he's making it look like it was a full Ecto-filter's fault), he gtfo.
Danny's pretty done with life, but since he's a halfa, he's functionally immortal, so the only way to get "eternal sleep" is something similar to Pariah's sarcophagus.
But contrary to what the Ancients did back then, Danny would hide his coffin himself where no one would find him.
In a place rich of ambient ectoplasm (to power up the tech that would keep him “safe”), but inaccessible to anyone who doesn't have intangibility and even then he would put up an Ecto-shield to prevent anyone to bypass the solid bedrock that he would use as natural barricade.
Amity is not a safe Ecto-rich place anymore because of Vlad, so the next best city seems to be Gotham, what with the ley lines and several ghost curses layered on there.
So Danny digs a chamber hundreds meters under Gotham and builds from scratch his prison, going out only three or four times to get some missing scraps and just enough food and water to let him finish the job (completely ignoring the new vigilantes starting to go out at night).
(He meets Robin!Dick once and most likely a still-stray Jason, but he quickly forgets about them, since he's too depressed to care.)
Once finished the project, Danny goes stargazing as Phantom at the highest point of the city one last time, where (a still not overly paranoid) Batman converges to assess him as a threat.
The two talk and have a heart-to-heart (mostly because Bruce sees another grieving kid like Dick and tries somehow to help), but nothing B says is enough to make Phantom desist from what Bruce thinks is commiting suicide.
However, Danny still thanks him for trying and for treating him like a person (Anti-Ecto-Acts are mentioned during their talk and you can bet that later B is gonna check on them) and that Batman is going to be a good dad for his kids.
(This comment leads later to a kinder timeline than the mess that is canon. ꒰(@`꒳´)꒱ )
Danny manages to snatch one hug from the man, then he flees to the secret chamber, where he “goes to sleep” after engaging every lock and shield.
Even if Batman managed to tag Danny with a bug, he misses his signal once he goes underground and that makes him regret not being able to save him.
Maybe if he had been more open and emotionally reachable, he would have succeeded?
(...and that's how Bruce starts to go to therapy, but shhhhh!)
Years pass and Danny stays as a Sleeping Beauty, however, despite being good at science, he doesn't know everything, so he couldn't have imagined that water would filter through the rock and start pooling inside the chamber (the equipment is luckily waterproof).
However, the passive Ecto-radiation and the small amount of pure ectoplasm that leaks from the top of the filter, makes the water slowly turn into its Lazarus variant.
Though, contrary to LoA’s Water, this Lazarus Pit is pure and uncorrupted due to the filtering machines.
Over the years (~15… 😏) the water digs through the chamber and shapes it into a cave that eventually connects to the Batcave.
Maybe the cave-in of a wall, makes some of the Robins go and check if the stability of the ground is still sound and find the Lazarus Pit that covers (almost) completely both the shield and sight of what's under the surface.
When the kids report, B asks for a complete scan of the Pit and it results in discovering that there's something at the bottom.
So they send an aquatic probe to look into it directly and come up to the coffin that has something written on the top in case some ghost did manage to find Danny's spot but not enter the barrier.
(The probe, being “normal”, is able to pass without problem through the shield, though.)
The text is written in multiple languages (just in case) and reads:
“Here lies Danny Phantom. Please do not disturb me while I'm resting, as I want to half-live the saying ‘I’ll sleep when I'm dead.’”
For the first time ever, Damian snorts in genuine amusement aloud and doesn't notice (the other Bats do and start freaking out), but then the camera zooms to the face of the boy inside the coffin and Bruce does a double take as he recognizes the kid he wasn't able to save.
That moment of shock is enough to make the man freeze and not be able to react in time to Damian lunging to the Pit and diving directly inside of it.
The BatFam starts to freak out even more and try to direct the probe to go and save Damian, but at the end they just manage to see live what he's doing.
Like it's just a normal salvage, Robin!Damian just ignites the instant floating buoys and that makes all the equipment emerge, with Damian sitting on the top of the coffin, completely ignoring the calls of the Bats.
Immediately, Damian starts hacking the controls of the coffin, but it's not needed since as soon as he starts typing, the computer lights up and seemingly recognizes him, giving him immediate full access.
Still ignoring the calls (no one can reach him since he's too far from the shore), Damian disengages the lock and “defrosts” Danny.
It takes a bit for him to wake up, but as soon as Danny starts to blink blearily, Damian is into his face, shouting.
“‘I'll sleep when I'm dead’? Really, Danny? You absolute moron!”
It takes a couple of seconds to register anything, but as soon as he does, Danny gasps and leaps at Robin, snake-bear hugging him, as he climbs and clings all over the other boy.
(If either of them is crying while laughing, no they aren't: it's just the lingering Lazarus Water on their faces.)
Too scared to accidentally trigger the unknown “being” into constricting Damian to death, the BatFam waits, analyzing the interaction.
(Cass silently reassures them that they aren't a threat.)
“How?!” It's the first thing that ‘Phantom’ says, leaning a bit back to cup their hands on Damian's face, trying to look into his eyes, but the mask is in the way.
Casually, Robin unmasks himself (!!) and smirks smugly, holding the meta(?) by the waist.
“You do remember that incident at the Egyptian Exhibit, don't you?” A nod, accompanied by a desolate puppy-like expression. “Did you really think that I would have waited that long to come back and find you?”
This time the tears are undeniable and, to hide them, the being buries their head in the crook of Damian's shoulder, clinging harder, but not enough to harm him.
“Where's Sam?” The being asks, muffled, after a while.
“No clue, I just started remembering from reading the pun and seeing your face.”
“Humph, that checks out. ...We'll have to go and look for her, since she's twice as stubborn as you and so she would have come back too.” Damian snorts in amusement, but nods. There's a pause, then Danny jolts, leaning back from him to look at the other better with a frown.
“Wait, why are you drenched in ectoplasm?!” He looks around and sees the Pit. “Wtf dude, this is so not healthy for you, com’on, I have to decontaminate you, you moron!”
(At this, Danny gets so many points in B’s books.)
“Nah, don’t bother.” Damian shrugs, putting a hand on his own chest. “I know my body and with the memory of past me coming back, I think I’m already on the way of becoming a halfa? At least, the humming beside my heart feels much like your Core.”
Danny startles and puts his own hand on the other’s to assess himself.
“Before taking a dip in this Pit to salvage your ass, it wasn’t noticeable, but the ectoplasm must have fed it enough to become active.” Damian guesses as Danny examines the evidence.
“Not ‘on the way’, try ‘already are’. How’s that even possible?” Danny gapes.
“Sweet! Now we can go flying together!” Damian beams.
“Forget that for a second and answer me! This feels like a complete baby-Core, much like mine right after the Accident, but at the same time it’s older?” Danny frowns. “Like 15 or so years old.” Looks up at Damian in confusion.
“That checks out. My current grandfather is a cultist revenant ass (*BatFam gasps in shock*) who’s obsessed with using Pits of corrupted ectoplasm to stay alive. I got tossed inside one a couple of times to be revived as well and I don’t doubt for a second that some of it was used to develop me in the artificial womb.”
“Duuuude, how does your new life sound more crazy than ours back then?”
“The merit of choosing to be reincarnated as the heir of a vigilante Father,” Damian points at the Bats with a thumb, making Danny notice them for the first time, “the ‘curse’ of an interesting life and the chance to meet you again, I guess.”
After a glance that promises ‘we’ll talk about that later’ to Damian, Danny turns properly to the BatFam and startles at seeing Batman. “Oh, it’s the Bat-dude!” Quick glance at the rest of the people, “I knew you would be a good dad! Tucker wouldn’t have chosen you otherwise!”
There are various splutters from every BatFam member and Damian grumbles in embarrassment.
“Wait, you know him B?” Red Robin side-turns towards Batman, frowning. “There’s no report of him in any file of the Batcomputer. And I’ve read all of them.”
“...Because I never wanted a record of my failure glaring back at me. I already gave myself a hard time as it was, it would have made things worse and Black Canary agreed with that assessment.” B admits.
“What failure?” Jason (who has another vigilante name, since, you know, the Red Hood moniker was to spite B and in this timeline there’s no need for that) gapes.
“Probably me coming down here to get some ‘Eternal Sleep’.” Danny shuts off the barrier, picks up Damian and flies with him on the shore, phasing the residual ecto from their forms. “You thought it was an euphemism for suicide, not literal, wasn’t it?”
“Yes, you did give that impression. Are you alright, son?” B looks at Damian, still not outing his civilian name to be on the safe side.
“Of course, Father. This Ectoplasm Pit has none of the junk Grandfather’s has. Danny knows his stuff and his Ecto-filters are the top notch. (Danny blushes in the bg at the praise) Heck, it could even be used to cure Pit Madness or to revive people without it in the first place.”
“Let’s not try it, please!” Danny hastily intervenes, “No dying for anyone in my family allowed now that I’m back!”
“Dude, we aren't immortal and you know that.” Damian shoulders Danny in scolding.
“They aren't immortal, you mean. You're a halfa now. Death won't stick on us in any way that matters, so I don't want anyone getting KiA at least. If they get to the point of being old and happy, then I'm fine with them going to rest. But don't think that I will leave your side any time soon.” Danny says pointedly at Damian, who bristles.
“That's completely insane, you can't be everywhere and above all you can't stalk me everywhere! I'm Robin, Batman's right hand, I won't be babysat when I have more experience than you no-” Damian's rant gets silenced by Danny kissing him.
Even after he lets go, Damian's brain is still blue screening while the BatFam is either gaping or catcalling.
“Tucker, or whatever you new name is, why do you think I went to sleep there after you all died in your past life?” Points at the coffin. “You remember that ‘Other Me’?”
“Vaguely, details are still a bit fuzzy, but he didn’t say much anyway after he tied us to the boiler…” Damian blinks, still a bit dazed by the kiss, but then grimaces at Danny’s flinch.
“Yeah, well, he actually went insane after losing you since that gave him an Obsession Failure. He broke down so deeply and irreversibly that it twisted him enough that accepting Vlad’s help led him to being the Scourge of Humanity. I-I… promised you to never become like him, so… this was the only way I could do that. I didn’t know what else to do, I’m sorry I wasn’t able to save you after all!” Danny breaks down, crying and sobbing and collapsing against Damian, as he cradles him in his arms.
Damian tries to console him with both physical affection (hugs and caresses) and murmuring reassurances (things like ‘it’s okay, it’s alright, it’s not your fault’) until the outburst slows down and his latest proposition catches Danny’s attention.
“Do you want to meet Batcow? She’s a true sweetheart, her therapist abilities are without equals among the living.”
“...You have a pet cow?” Danny’s voice is still rough with tears, but his disbelief is unmistakable.
“Of course I can have a pet cow! I saved her from an inhumane slaughterhouse, what I’ve seen there even made me swear off meat!” Damian!Tucker says righteously, but then realization sinks in as he stares with growing horror into Danny’s wide eyes.
“Oh Ancients, I’ve become like Sam! And I can’t even go back on the belief of my new life because both she and my current self have a point!”
That seems another breaking point, because Danny starts laughing so hard that he’s crying again.
“It’s not funny Danny, I’m having a crisis here!” Damian!Tucker cries in despair (to hide the relief that his best friend/crush/future boyfriend? isn’t as hopeless and depressed as before) as he lightly shakes the other, making him laugh even harder.
(He won’t let him go either. As Damian, now Tucker has all the skills he lacked in his past life and can protect his People. He won’t fail again.)

Danny being new to the family and adjusting to the family dynamics: why does Bruce get all weird when you mention wally?
Dick: oh, because we're dating and he doesn't like that.
Danny, a closeted bisexual now worried that his new father figure is homophobic: oh-
Dick, shrugging, unbothered because his dad hates speedsters, not him dating men: it is what it is.
Danny, seconds away from a panic attack, spiraling about Batman finding out he's bi and kicking him out: it is what it is

childhood friends danny and jason miscellaneous thoughts: because why not, i'm reworking ch2 because it no longer fits with the remaster of chapter 1 so i've been thinking of them, and i love talking about them. which you should totally go read the remaster because its 26k words and im very proud of it and it barely got any attention.
First off Ellie vapes. Mostly because I think its real fucking funny. The first time Danny finds out about it he gets all up in arms about it. Ellie at first thinks its because she's smoking -- which, helloooo pot meet kettle, Danny has been smoking for a lot longer than she has.
And then he throws a curveball at her and says he's upset specifically because its vaping. Like no, no. Dammit, if you're gonna fuck up your lungs you gotta do it properly, none of this cotton-candy flavored nonsense.
He plays it up for laughs and it's largely non-serious 'i can't believe you're using a vape', if only to hide the fact that he is genuinely displeased with his little sister smoking. Self-destructive behaviors and bad habits are his thing, thank you very much.
But, well, he knows he'd be a hypocrite if he told her he didn't like that she was smoking. He's aware its bad for him, but habits are hard to break and he's not particularly keen to break this one in particular.
Danny bullies her relentlessly about it whenever she vapes in front of him. Like don't be a loser, Elle, carry a carton of cigs and a lighter in your back pocket like the rest of us degenerates.
[more under the cut]
Secondly: Danny's piercings? He got the first lobe piercings as a lost bet from Sam in junior year, and they did it in her room with a needle, a small bottle of blood blossom extract, and an apple. He broke out in hives for a week after thanks to the blood blossom, but it prevented the hole from healing up :)
He got the rest done professionally at a piercing place in the Ghost Zone. He asked Johnny where to find it. Sam and Johnny (and Kitty) nearly convinced him into getting snakebites. He got an eyebrow piercing instead.
Danny's undercut is also self-done, he did it because Technus shot at him with an ectoblast and it missed hitting him, but set his hair on fire. Danny got it out pretty quickly, but it left his hair lopsided and obviously looking like it got burned by something. He went to Sam for help after the fight. He liked the way it looks so he's kept it that way since.

Vlad brought up Jason once(1) in a taunt during a fight, and this was after Jason disappeared from the ghost zone, and Danny very. very nearly killed him on the spot. He hasn't done it since.
Which leads into the other thing: Grief Triggers! As I call them. All Banshees have them in this au.
While all banshees are, in general, in a permanent state of grief, Grief Triggers are a specific emotional response that can cause them to spiral into a state of intense, sometimes debilitating sorrow, and most of the time causes them to start wailing.
Banshees know what their Grief Triggers are and in general tend to try and build up a form of resistance against it so that, if something occurs that happens to trigger said grief, they can at least either get away from other ghosts to let loose or have enough control over themselves that it'll take more work to send them spiraling.
As expected, Jason is Danny's grief trigger. He's built up a pretty good resistance to it so that hey, talking about him and his death is easier than when Danny was fourteen. But a little more prodding and it will trigger, especially depending on who brings him up and how. (See: Vlad)
Grief Triggers also manifest relatively the same; with the induction of an intense state of grief and sorrow, but how a banshee acts on it can sometimes vary. Again, it depends on who triggers it and how. Some of them can get,,, violent, depending on how it happens.
Rath, this au's 'Dan', is a case of a banshee being put into the grief state caused by grief triggers and... never really leaving it. Which they usually do on their own, or with help depending on the severity of it.
At the time it happened Danny was going through the worst week of his life a second time: his best friend's ghost disappeared, then his family and friends all died right in front of him, and then he was stuck with someone who wasn't helping him through that grief.
He was already in the grieving state when Vlad tore out his ghost half. As a result, Vlad only made it worse. With that fury thrown into the mix, Vlad ended up getting torn apart and nobody else was close enough with nor could they get close enough to Rath to help him come down from the wailing state.
So Rath ended up getting stuck in a perpetual negative feedback loop of absolute misery, and well... drove himself insane. The rest of the world became collateral as a result.
-
the difference between Danny and Jason lies in the fact that Jason died, while Danny is dead.
-
I'm having more thoughts on the CFAU/TMWS universe banshees, actually.
Banshees are either born in the ghost zone from ectoplasm and are ecto-entities and work as banshees as how we know of them, or they're human spirits that died mourning someone and that grief was so intense that it turned them into a banshee. They're a little more rare.
These banshees typically mourn only one person, or sometimes they follow their Realm-born counterparts and choose a family to mourn for. Typically their own.
Ember is not a banshee; human spirit banshees are always mourning another person. However, her abilities emulate certain qualities of banshees: like the beautiful singing. But in comparison to an actual banshee, Ember's voice pales.
Does this mean Danny has the better singing voice? Yeah. Ember is incensed by this.
-
If canon Danny and CFAU/TMWS Danny met, I think canon Danny would be kinda unsettled or off put by CFAU.
CFAU Danny still has some pretty core Danny traits, at least I like to think so -- his general drive to help people just out of compassion for them (even if it manifests differently at first due to trauma), his wit and humor, his fear of failing to protect his loved ones, all of those resonate with canon Danny.
However, canon Danny, as far as I can remember and as far as his wiki goes, rarely gets extremely angry or emotional. He gets irritated and he gets annoyed but him getting mad I don't think happens super often. CFAU Danny is the angrier one between Jason and Danny. It's one of the things I consider a division point between him and canon Danny as it's a result of him growing up in Crime Alley. Canon Danny is canonically shy and meek prior to becoming Phantom, CFAU Danny couldn't be -- he'd be dead already.
CFAU Danny's anger would off put canon Danny, in my opinion. His anger, his smoking, and for lack of a better term, his bloodlust would unsettle him.
Like, for example, say CFAU Danny gets transported to a canon (or canon-adjacent) Danny's universe. He's staying with canon for a little bit as they brainstorm how to get him back home, and CFAU Danny goes to school with canon if only so that he's not stuck in the house all day.
Whether they try and pass CFAU Danny off as canon's cousin or if the town already knows that he's another version of Danny, it doesn't matter. Because insert Dash.
Dash who, in CFAU Danny's world, has since learned not to fuck around with Danny or the other kids because Danny has long since asserted that he will beat his ass if he does. 'Fucking around' always predates the 'finding out', and Danny is happy to act as consequence.
(As my father told me (paraphrased) when I was a small child and full of uncontrollable anger: "there's gonna be a day where you're gonna hit someone, and they're gonna hit you back")
And canon Dash, who is used to canon Danny who kinda just takes it because it means that he won't target other people, would see CFAU Danny. He'd notice the resemblance between him and canon, immediately try and go "oh new target!", and try and bully him the same way he does to canon. And Danny "I am the consequences of your actions" CFAU Fenton, instantly throws hands.
Just, CFAU Danny is kind but he's also Gotham-raised and full of bite; he's meaner than canon is. He's more ruthless too, especially in his ghost fights. The ease of which he slips into violence would, imo, discomfort canon. CFAU and Canon would eventually get along though, they're not so different that they'd be in constant clash of each other.
(Canon Danny and Danyal Al Ghul however,,, thats another post LMAO)

dream curse au outline
Beginning of Chapter 1
While on a joint mission, Mu Qing is hit with a curse and falls unconscious. Feng Xin, worried, takes him back to heaven and has someone fetch someone that might know something about the curse (Ling Wen perhaps?). Before anyone can arrive, Mu Qing wakes up. Feng Xin was in the middle of checking the other man’s meridian’s and is caught by surprise when Mu Qing calls him husband fondly and drags him down for a kiss. Feng Xin, after a moment of stunned panic, breaks away and knocks Mu Qing unconscious again and orders the surprised Xuan Zhen deputies to tell the person they called for to hurry the fuck up.
Mu Qingfang arrives a moment later to check Mu Qing over. He sends a message to Ling Wen to double check some information (he was asking for some documents about a similar incident that happened from his peak lord days that ended in a bingliushen wedding and is the reason that Liu Qingge and Shen Qingqiu never ascended to heaven and are still in the mortal realm with their husband, Luo Binghe, to this day) and informs Feng Xin and the deputies that Mu Qing is affected by a dream curse. Mu Qing is convinced he's living his fantasy life and acting as if his deepest desires are true. (In the background the deputies are snickering, and another is long suffering and passes them money.) Thinking back to Mu Qing calling Feng Xin “husband” and kissing him, Feng Xin tells Mu Qingfang that he’s bullshitting him. There’s no way that’s what Mu Qing is cursed with. Obviously, this is some sort of opposite curse or something where the person does a complete reversal of their actual desires. Internally, Feng Xin is upset that Mu Qing dislikes him so much that he’d only dream of calling Feng Xin “husband” in the midst of a nightmare.
Mu Qingfang gives Feng Xin a polite but patronizing stare and remembers how freaked out Luo Binghe and Shen Qingqiu were when Liu Qingge was convinced he was married to both of them. After a pause where he exchanges a look with the deputies behind Feng Xin (and probably looks at where Feng Xin is still holding Mu Qing’s hand), he tells him that the “reversal” curse is still broken the same way as the “dream curse”. Mu Qing’s ideal fantasy has to become true for the day or he’ll stay stuck in the curse forever. Feng Xin has to go along with every single one of Mu Qing’s whims until the curse is broken.
After a moment of pensive contemplation, Feng Xin shakes his head and insists that no, there has to be another way to break the curse. He storms out of the room and leaves for the mortal realm to recheck the place they were at when Mu Qing was cursed. He gets there and combs over the area, but all evidence he finds seems to agree with Mu Qingfang’s assessment. Frustrated and flustered at remembering what Mu Qing was convinced of, he returns to heaven and goes to find Mu Qingfang to ask is certain that’s the only way.
Mu Qingfang had waited at Xuan Zhen palace knowing Feng Xin would be back soon (he remembers the bingliushen incident and knows denial is just one of the steps; Luo Binghe was in denial for a while that Liu Qingge wanted him and not just Shen Qingqiu and dragged the curse out an entire week while freaking out) and is having some tea with some of the Xuan Zhen deputies. When Mu Qingfang says that it's the only way to break the curse, Feng Xin asks what to do if what Mu Qing wants to do to break the curse will harm Mu Qing’s cultivation path. Before Mu Qingfang can answer, the deputies snicker and reassure Feng Xin that that won’t be a problem. Feng Xin asks them what they mean, confused, and the deputies let Feng Xin know that Mu Qing changed his cultivation path centuries ago, but never informed the rest of heaven. Feng Xin is very flustered with this information.
As Mu Qingfang and the deputies leave to let Feng Xin handle Mu Qing by himself (they are all very aware of exactly what their general is probably going to want from Feng Xin), Feng Xin asks them where Mu Qing is. They laugh and tell Feng Xin that Mu Qing is busy preparing a special meal for his husband in the kitchen and refusing to do any of his godly duties. Feng Xin goes to find Mu Qing, still very confused and reminding himself that Mu Qingfang was bullshitting him about the exact details of the curse and that this is Mu Qing’s opposite, not what Mu Qing wants (even though the evidence in the mortal realm says otherwise too). All he has to do is break the curse and get it over with and Mu Qing will be back to normal. Feng Xin is deep in the throes of denial.
End of Chapter 1
Beginning of Chapter 2 (here is the post with the beginning of this written)
When he finds Mu Qing, Mu Qing has woken up a while ago, as the deputies had said, and changed into skimpy robes and prepared a meal for Feng Xin that he’s laid out on the table for him and proceeds to be very dedicated to welcoming his “husband” home. What follows is a lot of seductive Mu Qing dragging his husband from one domestic activity to another, interspersed with copious amounts of sex. (Mu Qing has a domestic kink and wants to cook with Feng Xin and cuddle a lot and liberally call Feng Xin his husband.) Feng Xin is convinced he is losing his mind and possibly that he’s the one that’s actually cursed (as opposed to Mu Qing) and that he’s living out his own fantasy of Mu Qing wanting him in a dream. He is convinced there’s no way any of this is actually happening. Over the course of the day, Feng Xin goes through all the stages of grief for the loss of his sanity and finally settles into acceptance that this is what Mu Qing wants.
More details need to be added on the exact shenanigans that occur.
When the curse breaks* the next day however, and as he wakes up, Mu Qing remembers everything that happened and freaks out. He’s convinced that Feng Xin went along with it because he felt obligated to break the curse and not because Feng Xin wanted to. Mu Qing is mortified that his feelings were exposed and probably not reciprocated, and that the other day was probably a pity fuck as he reminds himself. He bolts out of bed (they fell asleep together cuddling the night before) and throws on a robe and starts to have a meltdown. Feng Xin wakes up and sleepily asks him if he’s okay (calling him “Qing-er” as he does), at which point Mu Qing loses it completely and starts rudely snapping at Feng Xin about anything and everything he can think of. He tells Feng Xin to get out and, desperate to save face, tells Feng Xin that yesterday was a reversal curse and nothing else. He rudely tells Feng Xin that he would never want Feng Xin of all people and that whoever said the curse was Mu Qing’s true feelings obviously lied.
Feng Xin is devastated. Over the course of the other day, he had accepted that Mu Qing actually wanted him back and loved him and now he’s being told that Mu Qing doesn’t. He thinks he tricked himself into believing a lie because he wanted it to be true so badly. He manages to stutter out a single “Qing-er” at which Mu Qing grabs a vase and throws it at him and orders him to get out again. The vase shatters and Mu Qing finally actually looks at Feng Xin and notices that Feng Xin is crying and broken-hearted. It is at this point that Mu Qing realizes he fucked up and that maybe Feng Xin actually did want him, but by this point, Feng Xin is stumbling back out of the room and turning away from him to high tail it out of Xuan Zhen palace. Mu Qing tries to take it back by saying “No, wait, stop--” and reaching out to grab Feng Xin, but the door slams in his face and Feng Xin is gone.
End of Chapter 2
Beginning of Chapter 3 aka Mu Qing’s journey of trying to reconcile with Feng Xin
Mu Qing slumps to the ground in front of his door that has just been slammed in his face and buries his face in his hands. He starts to cry realizing he’s fucked up. After a few moments of despair, he tries to reach out to Feng Xin through the array, but doesn’t receive an answer. Time passes as Mu Qing wallows in self deprecating pity. A tentative knock comes at the door and breaks him out of his spiral. He wipes his face and takes a moment to compose himself slightly before asking what the person needs. (He does not open the door at this point because he doesn’t want to face anyone yet. Also, he sounds awful. The deputy pretends to not notice.)
A deputy calls softly through the door and asks if Mu Qing is ready for his morning tea or not. (The deputy is actually worried about Mu Qing as they all saw Feng Xin leave in a hurry crying and is trying to ask if he’s okay without saying it because he knows that Mu Qing won’t take well to being asked directly.) Mu Qing quickly tries to straighten himself and his clothing and tells his deputy he’ll be out in a minute. He takes another moment to compose himself before getting up and getting ready for the day. He does all of this in a daze.
He leaves the room and makes his way to his office where he usually starts his day with tea and paperwork. He sits at his desk and nods to his deputies (they notice his eyes are red and puffy but politely don’t comment). He stares at the tea that’s been freshly prepared for him. A cough breaks him from his focus on his tea and a deputy tells him that Mu Qingfang is there to talk to him (a deputy summoned him when they noticed how fucked up their general was). Mu Qing nods and tells them to see him in.
Mu Qingfang enters and greets him politely and sits down at the table. A deputy pours him some tea. The two gods sit in silence for a moment, before Mu Qing asks why Mu Qingfang has come to see him. Mu Qingfang informs him that he has come to check on Mu Qing health and his meridians to make sure he is recovering from the after effects of the curse. Mu Qing tells him that he’s fine and that’s unnecessary. Mu Qingfang asks that Mu Qing humors him and takes Mu Qing’s wrist to check his meridians. As he checks Mu Qing, Mu Qingfang starts reminiscing out loud about the time when he was a Peak Lord (before ascending to godhood) when his martial brother, Liu Qingge, experienced the same curse. He tells Mu Qing all about the shenanigans that Luo Binghe, Shen Qingqiu, and Liu Qingge got up to for the week that Liu Qingge was cursed and the messy fallout of when the curse finally broke. Liu Qingge had been very embarrassed about the whole thing and fled. He had disappeared from the Sect for months. Luo Binghe and Shen Qingqiu had been very upset by the whole thing and Liu Qingge might have not come back at all if they hadn’t gone looking for him to make it clear that they wanted Liu Qingge too.
Mu Qing quietly asks how Luo Binghe and Shen Qingqiu were able to forgive Liu Qingge for hurting them. Mu Qingfang hums and tells him that they did because they loved Liu Qingge and he apologized. [ “Even if he was avoiding them?” ] (Mu Qing is asking about bingliushen but really thinking about himself and Feng Xin; the two situations aren’t a perfect parallel, what with them being different people and reacting differently, but they are similar enough.) Mu Qingfang points out that all Luo Binghe and Shen Qingqiu had to do was find him and the rest worked itself out. Mu Qingfang lets go of Mu Qing’s wrist and tells him that his meridians seem to be fine and he’s recovered well. He gets up and bows politely and says he’ll see himself out. Mu Qing continues to sit there thinking about what Mu Qingfang said. (Mu Qingfang didn’t actually come to check Mu Qing’s meridians--he knew they’d be fine. He came to tell Mu Qing about the bingliushen incident to try and help Mu Qing figure out what he should do, but he figured saying it was for the meridians would make Mu Qing let him in.)
Tentatively, Mu Qing attempts to activate Feng Xin’s communication array again, but he finds that the password has been changed. He thinks about bingliushen and comes to the conclusion that he’ll have to go to Feng Xin. He gets up and gives some vague orders to the deputies to take care of his godly duties for the day and leaves to go to Nan Yang Palace to talk to Feng Xin. When he gets there though, the deputies tell him Feng Xin has left for the mortal realm.
Need a more detailed outline, but basically, Feng Xin keeps avoiding Mu Qing and Mu Qing keeps trying to find Feng Xin to apologize. Feng Xin has his deputies prevent Mu Qing from entering his palace and changes his communication array password. At one point, Mu Qing even goes to Xie Lian for advice and possibly goes to meet with bingliushen to ask their advice too since they’ve experienced the fallout of the curse before. (Shen Qingqiu saying that love is more important than dignity would be fantastic and delicious and I need it.)
Eventually, Mu Qing comes to the conclusion that if he can’t get Feng Xin to talk to him, he’ll have to do it in public even if it means losing face in front of other officials (which is actually his worst nightmare--appearing weak in front of others) because it’s the only place Feng Xin can’t avoid him entirely. So Mu Qing catches him in the middle of the street with many onlookers (who are very excited to witness Mu Qing’s embarrassment because they’re gossipy bitches like that, and Mu Qing wasn’t wrong about the majority of heaven’s opinion of him; the officials that don’t like him begin projecting the event of “Xuan Zhen’s disgrace” into the dreams of their believers in glee that everyone will get to see Xuan Zhen be embarrassed) and admits that he lied and that he loves Feng Xin and that he messed up. He begs Feng Xin to talk to him again and give him another chance, but says that it’s in Feng Xin’s right if he doesn’t want to forgive him. He starts crying at some point in the confession and can’t even look at Feng Xin through his tears so he doesn’t get to see Feng Xin’s expressions go from surprise to softening into fondness.
Feng Xin approaches Mu Qing and takes his face in his hands and wipes his tears away. He leans his forehead against Mu Qing and whispers softly, “Qing’er, of course I’ll forgive you.” He then kisses Mu Qing.
In the background the officials that thought they were about to witness Mu Qing’s embarrassment are starting to realize that maybe projecting this into their worshipers' dreams was a Bad Idea ™. But alas, they can’t undo it. In the mortal realm, the legend of Xuan Zhen and Nan Yang’s romance becomes one of the most famous love stories and becomes the focus of many many plays and poems for centuries to come.

DP x DC Dead Soulmates
This is probably the only soulmate au I'll ever do so enjoy
Soulmate au where your soul mark turns black when your soulmate dies
Danny and Jason are soulmates. The problem? Both of their soul marks are black. Sure, they came back, but not in a typical way, so each thinks the other is dead
So what do we get? Longing. Two guys longing for a love they thought lost to them, thinking tenderly of a future they don't think they could have, even without the added craziness of their lives. Standing on rooftops, smoking in the cold november air, their breath indistinguishable from the smoke, their spent cigarettes flicked off the edge like discount shooting stars, lamenting their fates, probably to each other for the dramatic irony of it all
they both get it. The quiet kind of grief, longing for somebody they never got the chance to know, thinking about how things could have been different, how the should have been different. That understanding is what draws them towards each other
and then? Jason sees Danny's mark, Jason shows his own, they stare at each other, silent for a moment, before arms wrap around the other, lips pressed together, and quiet tears fall like rain to the rooftop beneath their feet
longing, angst, and then happy ending
and you can thank this song for inspiring the mood for this

tangentially related to this post from the other day.. but i'm picturing diego in the mainverse too!! as a son of dio, naturally. i'm delving into heavy canon divergence/au so!! strap in.
he's the eldest of the kids, and probably the most like him too!! i'm going in with the angle that the mothers and the children did live with him for a while; at least until the crusaders come show up. meaning diego does remember dio more than the other four do.
for the first few years of his life, diego brando lives like royalty. he might as well be. his every whim is catered to, everyone seems to fear love him, and he gets special attention from dio himself!! what's not to love?? well, besides his mother trying desperately to keep him on the right track. dio overrides her a lot of the time.
then giorno is born, and he takes all of dio's attention away. not because a new baby needs attention, that's what the servants are for, but because dio senses that he has so much more potential than diego does. diego hates this! and he hates giorno! not to the point where he'd hurt giorno, but he ignores him. and dismisses him. a lot. and it hurts giorno because he genuinely looks up to diego </3
when donatello, rikiel, and ungalo are born, diego bonds with donatello the most. they're growing used to being overlooked by everyone else, and they bond over that.
jumping ahead a few years... diego, his mother, and the rest of his half-brothers manage to escape cairo with the help of hol horse. dio almost catches them, but he's distracted by the crusaders. they flee to italy, and that's where they remain to this day.
and why yes, this diego interp does show up in vento aureo <3 unfortunately he doesn't get to join passione though. he gets to befriend mista after the fact though so yippee!!

[Backlog] [01/04/2023]
Okay but that photoset made me remember this crossover and I'm procrastinating going to bed so woe lupat×build crossover be upon you
I don't care much about when it's set, I just need it to be post generations finals for Build so that they know about multiple universes
For Gangler Reasons Keiichiro and Kairi (as a civilian) end up in the World of Build. Keiichiro makes it his duty to make sure to bring Kairi home, which is a problem, because it means that he's keeping an eye on Kairi at all time, and that stops Kairi from looking for a way home too with his skills as Lupin Red.
The Build Team finds them and decides to help them (they probably need to find the Gangler again or something to get back home, haven't decided yet).
I dont really have a plot yet, but Keiichiro decides to help Sento and Ryuga against the Smashes while they're here (as a way to thank them for helping them), and while Kairi has been told to stay at the base, he uses the times that Keii is out to look for the gangler as Lupin Red (Misora and Sawa find out his identity pretty quickly, and decide to help him sneak around without the others knowing).
At some point Keii meets Red and so now he feels like he can't leave him trapped in another world so Keii starts to try and find him too, and Kairi has to deal with that while still protecting his identity
Can you tell I like secret identity shenanigans?

Hello!! Question about clone^2, what are the styles of Danny and Damian? Like day to day stuff for example. Does Danny buy Damian the traditional 8 yr old clothes (dinosaurs with sunglasses tees, stuff like that) or does Damian already have a style he likes? And Danny! I know that Sam gives Danny various punk hairstyles and that he prefers gender neutral stuff but outside of that what would Danny wear in general?
You don’t have to answer of course, but I’ll give you a thank you in advance!
- kindest regards, Gas Can
I LOVE GETTING ASKS NO WORRIES MY GUY. AS MY FAVORITE SAYING GOES 'THE QUICKEST WAY TO STARRY'S HEART IS THROUGH HER ASK BOX'.
And I love this question, this is a good one!! If damian's 8 then he's been around the fenton house for about a year or so. I can't see baby dames ever willingly wearing traditional child-like clothes, at least not in the beginning when he first arrives at the Fenton house. Which he'd be around 6-7.
Danny tells him (with the help of google translate) that he's going shopping to buy him new clothes sometime during Damian's early stay since the little man had been wearing the same clothes he arrived in for a while (which you can find here with the reblog of the colored version) and honestly he probably asks damian if he wants to come along to pick something out. he doesn't know the kid's style and it might be a bad idea because damian might make a run for it, but danny's caught him before at this point.
(plus he'll need help carrying bags - his hands are freshly injured and still smarting. they're not as bad as they will be in the future, but hand injuries hurt. consider it repayment for being the cause of it, damian)
And early Damian would choose clothes that remind him most of the league - so dark colors, more formal styles, think like how you'd imagine his original template to dress like, if you will. Danny is side-eyeing him in judgy bewilderment, but says nothing other than to complain about the price tag. Of which Damian has no idea what he's saying. He'd stick with those clothes until he has his little moment with Danny in the OPS Center where he finally tells him he's a clone (even though Danny already knows) and that he doesn't want to go back. After that he'd reluctantly and steadily start branching out.
So eight year old Damian, whose begun to chill out more and act more like a child his age would? I don't think he'd ever wear graphic t-shirts about kids shows, but I can see him wearing graphic tees of like, animal facts on it, animals, stars, etc etc, and then plain shirts in a variety of increasing color. I have this mental image that Danny buys Damian one of those joke shirts that says "bro I'm 8" / "this is what an awesome eight year old looks like" (with two thumbs pointing at itself) and Damian wears it to school a week later. Damian's variety of shirts increases the more comfortable he gets and the more he comes into his own identity.
Damian also, steadily, keeps stealing Danny's flannels even if they're almost comically large on him. They're comfy and he's embracing his role as baby brother (and also he really looks up to him because he understands, to an extent, of what danny's done for him). Danny and the Fentons start buying Damian his own after a while because, well, he can't keep taking Danny's.
And Danny! I'm so glad you mentioned Danny, my favorite GNC boy. I keep forgetting myself sometimes that I gave him long hair, even if it is my favorite thing about him. And honestly? Danny doesn't really do much with his hair if Sam isn't styling it. He usually lets it stay down on his head, and then pulls it back into a ponytail or a half-ponytail at school depending on what he's doing (gym vs a test).
He keeps it in a ponytail as phantom to keep it out of his face, and then when he's working on a Ghost Case he sometimes has it up in a (messy™) bun because the feeling of having his hair on his neck when its in a ponytail drives him nuts, especially when sleep deprived. Sam teaches him how to braid it back into a simple braid and its become a new fidget for him to braid his hair and then unbraid it. It's easier to keep off his face than a ponytail, so he sometimes braids it back when he's sneaking out as phantom. It happens more often once he gets skilled at it.
And danny's style! I know you probably only meant his hairstyle, but I also wanna talk about his aesthetic! He doesn't really put much into his appearance. Very teenager-y boy 'threw on the first thing i saw on a hanger/floor' type, but he kinda has a bit more of a casual, soft grungy-like look as an older teen. Just some hints of Sam's influence - and you know what, some of Tucker's as well because that's his best friend too.
(Off topic but 19yo Danny from my Childhood Friends Dead On Main au has a similar style that's a bit soft punk as well, and that is somewhat more intentional on CFAU Danny's part. Why make an au if I can't play dress up with my favorite character? :))
Mostly because I read a Spider-Man x DP fic that described Danny (from an outsider's pov) as looking kinda like a skater boy who listens to alt rock music and it's been my personal interpretation of him ever since. So he has band tees, flannels, graphic tees with jokes on them, shirts with astronomy facts on them, and idk if he'd ever buy ripped jeans but Sam has certainly bought him some and they fit so *shrugs* he wears them. And he has one or two of those denim jackets with the hoodie sewn inside it. And from Tucker he has a few turtlenecks because Tucker reads as a turtleneck-kinda guy, geek chic-ish.
