👀 weLL @anonymousotp since you asKED I will TRY to deliver but I tend to be bad at explaining things actually.

So Naib and Norton both have some sort of trauma, however they act differently anyways. Naib tends to run into danger while Norton tries to avoid it. I can just imagine them sticking together and Norton trying to stop Naib from doing something dumb or Naib trying to convince Norton that if they do the dumb thing they’ll be okay.

Also, my sister mains Naib while I main Norton, so I realized that gameplay-wise they go pretty great together! Naib is slower to heal but Norton has a healing buff, not as good as doctor but it’s still something. Naib has slow decoding and Norton has... slightly faster if you’re good at calibrations decoding. Also, Naib is a rescuer, and Norton, if the team knows what they’re doing, can be really good at assisting in rescues. Gameplay stuff like that isn’t necessary in making pairs but it just really helps you get into the feel of it.

I just feel like they are a great duo. A sort of dysfunctional duo, but still go great together. They look out for each other. Even tho Naib is smaller and weaker than Norton I still see him as the “strong” one in the pair, just not physically. He’s more likely to take risks yaknow. He’s ALWAYS taking risks and Norton thinks it’s gonna kill him someday, and tries to take care of Naib afterwards. Meanwhile Norton is so “gloomy and reserved” (I’m never getting over the feeling of seeing his dumb smile then reading that in his rumor) he never throws himself into danger (aside from helping his teammates when he’s sure he can) and Naib feels like that removes a lot of excitement from Norton’s life and tries to get Norton to take some “fun” risks. But at the same time he understands what trauma is like and they both comfort each other. Bro they totally gonna go to the amusement park together.

I honestly just love seeing them together in any way, whether it’s a romantic ship or friends or they’re literally just forced to work together as teammates. For romantically pairing them I’d imagine Norton having a big dumb crush on Naib, I like to think he’s more... easily attracted to people hehe get it

Naib and Norton have a really, really great dynamic that is very much ignored by fans (understandably, seeing as nobody really had a reason to put them together) and I would totally draw them hanging out together IF I wasn’t super lazy. But if anyone ever wants to hear about it. I love the two of them together.
