being a dean girl and hating sam is backasswards sam shapes like 90% of who dean is and that's a fact he emphasizes explicitly so many times in words/actions. It's kinda a given that kinning dean by virtue makes you develop a special adoration of sam. despising sam runs contradictory to dean's core and cannot realistically co-exist with his character-defining feelings of devotion to sam. dean loving sam is kind of the whole point. there's no middleground between two viscerally counteracting concepts. you either love dean/kin him and love sam or you love the small part of dean unrelated to sam and personally want to have nothing to do with what shapes dean for the most part.
