"Inside" by Blue Kid

LISTEN TO ME. This album ("Upright, Love") is among my favorite albums of ALL TIME. This song may not be a good encapsulation of the overall style BUT!!! If I can convince you to listen to Blue Kid, I'm gonna make you listen to Inside. It's hard to pick favorites off the album (/from Blue Kid) but if I had to, I guess I'd recommend Have To and maybe Octo??? If you have an hour to spare though, PLEASE listen to the whole album or at least look through it briefly. Thank you <3

Truly one of the songs of all time. In my heart. Peak dreamy flowy boppy vibes. I'm so good at words. It's a shame it's not longer but I do think they picked the perfect length, I'm just greedy like that! Great song, love wolftyla, love the production on this, love it love it love it.

"ウンメイクラエ" by yonishi

Once again not vocasynth, but how cool is it?? I love yonishi, this was the first song I heard from them and I think it's still my favourite, though "The Moonless Night" is a close second! Either way they're both super catchy, and this one is just so fun to listen to. I love the rhythm, and while I don't speak Japanese I can still tell when syllables sound nice together - which is the case here. So.. good writing as far as I can tell!

"SACRIFICIAL VOCALOID" by TRUST FUND OZU (ft. Ben Levin)

Alright now, this may not be a Vocaloid song but listen. LISTEN. It's SUCH a banger. You can definitely tell Faye Fadem has experience drumming, I adore the digital sounds on this but the drum and guitar parts are what makes this song sooo punchy. I also love the way the lyrics are written, always a fan of references, wordplay and just.. a recurring motif/family of terms. In this case, digital mechanical and web-related words. Very catchy, one of my favorite songs of all time hands-down.

"IYAYA" by OKINI☆PARTY'S

One of my favorite groups in the DENONBU project, and this is probably the smoothest song in their repertoire! In my heart this song is right next to BPM15Q's, it just has that specific sound and vocal tone(?). Anyway, highly recommend! DENONBU is full of gems, you'll definitely see more of them on this blog.

"Optimist" by Gully Boys

Woo, first non-vocasynth recommendation! Right so, I had such a hard time choosing between this and my favorite song from them, Bad Day, to post here, but I'm thinking this one might hook people faster and I neeeeeeed you to listen to Gully Boys asap!! I wanna eat their songs like paprika potato chips. Super fun, makes me wanna sing along so bad.
