The protests still happening and more people participate than before. Maybe because of yesterday disturbing news. Maybe to honor the 19 yrs old Mya Thwet Thwet Khaing who gave up her life only one day before her birthday. Many police and released prisoners are on the street doing unthinkable things to the population and some are caught by the population nearby. Almost all of the criminals were injected with drug and cannot even answer simple question. The drones are also above the city recording the chaos between criminals and population.

The internet will be cutoff from 1:00A.M to 9:00A.M on 15th February is also issued through the military news outlet.

Now today, not even 8:00P.M (when the martial law is active) many military trucks and tanks, water truck are spotted around the major cities.

Around 8:30, we saw the live footage of military trying to take control of EPC at Myit Kyi Nar. People resist them, then the guns were fired, the tear gas were used. The people finally have to give in. The footage of them is like seeing a war, the guns shot sound, the smoke of tear gas, the screaming of people. Many journalists were arrested there.

These events are happening across the cities. They are trying to arrest the government employees who participated in CDM. The threatening letters to the CDM participators by the upper officials were also circulating around social media.

Many cities and villages will have a sleepless and restless night. Many are taking part in neighborhood watch party. The live stream of reliable local news and personal are all heartbreaking and inhumane.

In Saint Valentine's day, the day which is supposed to celebrate love, we, Myanmar people are heartbroken, sad, frighten, alert, losing the love ones, losing all our hardworks.

We share the following essay submission from an author who has requested to remain anonymous due to safety concerns. In the wake of recent natural disasters in Myanmar, a remarkable movement has emerged, led predominantly by well-known Buddhist monks who are spearheading disaster recovery efforts across the country. These monastic leaders have mobilized charities to rebuild homes and roads, restore water supplies, and provide essential relief to those affected by the catastrophic floods. One such figure is Taung Pu La Sayadaw from Pyin Oo Lwin. His campaigns have focused on digging and restoring wells in 55 monasteries across Tatkon Township, ensuring access to clean water—a critical need in the aftermath of flooding. Similarly, the Yellow Generation Wave (YGW) Charity, led by monks who were at the forefront of the 2007 Saffron Revolution, has transitioned from immediate rescue operations to long-term recovery initiatives. These include relocating displaced individuals, rebuilding infrastructure, and providing mental health support to families who have lost loved ones, often incorporating religious rituals like merit transfer ceremonies to honor the deceased. "Mental resilience," or psychological rehabilitation, has become a cornerstone of these recovery efforts. Leading monks are dedicating resources to alleviate the emotional and psychological stress experienced by bereaved families. For instance, Mizzima Gone Yi Sayadaw offered substantial financial support to two novice monks whose families suffered tragic losses—one lost his brother to the floods in Yedashe Township, Bago Region, and another's family lost their home and farmlands in Shwe Paw Kyun Village, Myit Thar Township, Mandalay Region.
