MY SDCC 2017 EXPERIENCE- Entry 03: This booth #efxcollectibles was displaying amazing life-sized replicas of several of the MCU helmets. It's so cool to see them all together like this! All part me f the same universe but all so different (imho). I had the honor to design 3 of these. Trivia: 1) Which 3 did I design? 2) Which one did I not do the final design but made a small contribution to its look? MY SDCC 2017 EXPERIENCE- Entry 02: Me feeling like a proud papa :) As Visual Development Supervisor, besides leading my team of concept artists, I also work alongside the heads of the other departments namely the Costume Designer. I had the pleasure of working with Mayas Rubeo who did an amazing job making all the costumes for this movie. She & her team kicked much ass! Hela was also a collaboration with @ironhead_studio Jose Fernandez & his team did an amazing job! MY SDCC 2017 EXPERIENCE- Entry 04: One of the 3 panels I got to do. Extreme Studios! Rob Liefeld! I'm super proud to celebrate my roots with these amazing group of artists. I'll always be grateful to Rob for giving me my big break in the comic book industry. MY SDCC 2017 EXPERIENCE- Entry 06: My last panel was for my friend @patloika He's an awesome guy, comic fan & great photographer. He's releasing a book based on cosplay photography soon (Four Color Realities: The Cosplay Photography of Pat Loika) & he put together this panel with his amazing cosplay friends & myself. I felt a bit out of place (maybe bc I wasn't dressed as the Asian Hulk or something ;)) but they did a great job in making me feel welcome.
