Tried this little experiment to inoculate my soil with fungi by allowing some humid manure to sit in a bag after crushing a few random mushrooms into it. The new seedlings are going to be so happy with the new mix 🥰 Along with bacteria, fungi are important as decomposers in the soil food web. They convert hard-to-digest organic material into forms that other organisms can use.
