2023 I sincerely hope this drama takes home all the awards for 2023!!!!!!!! XD In all seriousness, this drama is in a league of its own. The main leads are so talented as well as the whole cast itself and the chemistry. I am sure it took a lot of hard work to prepare and display such a superb performance from everyone. The cinematography is also equally amazing. Namgoong Min...what can I say...He is a truly versatile actor and really a veteran at this. He has proven himself time and time again. He's come a very long way, and so very proud of him.

Ahn Eunjin. Something about her acting feels very refreshing, raw, and real. Also refined. Very talented and able to carry her own weight just fine. I hope they win best couple too!! :)

So. Started watching The Veil. It's...way more slasher-violent than I anticipated. But also Namgoon Min is way more intriguing here than anywhere else I've seen him. I haven't decided if the internal logic of the show hangs together yet. (Ji Hyuk's former self really was a jerk to him; like why would you set yourself up like that??) But it cracks me up that he brings the classic suit-and-tie NIS agent version, as well as the scarred-leather-jacket-wearing rogue agent version. Not to mention the lost-on-an-island version. Mùa này phim Hàn t đu bộ này. Phim anh Min chọn đóng thặc s��� auto hay. Chưa kể ơn giời làm fan Adachi san bao năm nay nên t biết bóng chày đôi chút nên coi cực kỳ thích thú. Nhiều người ngại bóng chày thường sẽ ko thèm coi nhưng mà coi tập 1 đi mấy bạn lọt hố đó. Phim hấp dẫn nhanh gọn nhân văn xúc động, ai iu thể thao thì sẽ càng đắm đuối (như toy). I recently watched this show, and I can not express enough how spectacular it is, in every way. I haven't experienced a movie like this in forever. That's a long time, considering I've been around for millions of years already. Also, I don't know if I could survive a rewatch, I know it can't be anytime soon, even though I wish I could watch it again tomorrow. It's intensely epic, I need to prepare my body, mind, and soul and allocate time before any rewatching can occur.

In my wildest dreams, I hope one day to write a book, I wish to experience what must be such profound inspiration as I believe Hwang Jin-young, writer of this movie, must have experienced to conceive such a beautifully elegant creation which fills the heart with all sorts of richness.

I hope this movie receives all accolades possible. It's really stunning. It may seem that my reaction is quite dramatic, however, I urge you to watch it, properly watch it, with the attention this movie deserves, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Update after some research: this movie won practically every award possible, including the grand prize, Daesang, won by Namgoong Min 🤍 well deserved. Obviously he is a beautiful looking man, but seriously, that voice, the way he speaks, I'm sure I held my breath so many times and ended up fainting! Not to relate this to a character or actor, but seriously I can not believe this human exists in the world right now!!!

This is one of the cases where I think I like the IDEA of a drama more than the EXECUTION of it...I loved the unreliable narrator and getting one version of the story only to find out someone was lying or memories were implanted, and no one could be trusted, not even the MC's own mind.
