Since EA has decided to ruin the Sims 2 premades in The Sims 4, it is only fair that I ruin the Sims 4 premades in The Sims 2.

This Stella Echols merged with Stella Terrano.

ARKHELIOS - A murder mystery and sci-fi scripted hood

It’s here!! It’s all finally here! An original, unique hood that resulted as the first collab between Red (simstate) and Nappe (nappe-plays-the-sims).

“Founded by Abraham Helios and disillusioned citizens protesting laws limiting freedom of expression (or freedom of partying) ARKHELIOS is embedded in the midst of nowhere between mountains no normal sim would dare climb. The community managed by itself up until the untimely death of Abraham. As succession is called into question and secrets unravel, will the inhabitants of ARKHELIOS be able to find peace again or plunge into chaos?”

What is Arkhelios? Arkhelios is a 10 household, 50+ sim story hood that revolves over the founder, Abraham Helios, being suddenly murdered! Find out who the killer is and look into all the drama and storylines of all the families!

What does Arkhelios require and is it CC-Free? Arkhelios was created with the Ultimate Collection in mind, so you’ll need all EPs and SPs for everyone to work as advertised. Arkhelios does come with some CC, but it’s purely for lore reasons and it’s only a little bit!

How long does Arkhelios take to complete? We recommend you play through all the households in this playing order. Please note that YOU ONLY NEED TO PLAY THEM for 2-3 DAYS at a time to solve the main mystery, no need for full rounds!

Notes: Certain behavior changing mods like Story Progression can cause a lot reset, which will break the scripted events. In that case, I recommend taking out SP to finish the main story, and then putting it back in once you’ve completed the story :D

CanonCity: The Most Ambitious (AKA Chaotic) Crossover Neighborhood In History

What, you thought I was only going to give you Sims?

Using canon from all games in The Sims franchise, as well as my own ideas to tie it all together, CanonCity is a chaotic city encompassing the first three The Sims 2 neighborhoods: Pleasantview, Strangetown, and Veronaville, mashing together all games into a tumultous storyline with equally as lawless interior and exterior of each home. Not to mention the appearance and personality changes to each sim adding an extra layer of confusion, all done to attempt to sew the different aspects of canon together.

Family trees have received many additions. So many sims walk around with the same surnames but have no known family connection. I fixed that. The Goths among others see the addition of Trish and Wulf Goth, Jessie Goth, Rebecca Goth, and of course little Buttons! As there was a severe lack of backstory for these sims, I’ve written some that fits in nicely with the already established storylines. I’ve also added some non-canon, but fun, relationships between townies to make them more significant.

To tie things together I sometimes had to create non-canon storylines and relationships... making the name of this town unfitting, I suppose, but with the lack of a better name... On the bright side, more drama, more storyline, more fun for you!

Naturally, not every single sim from every single game is here, as that would make the neighborhood way too crowded. I will upload my own versions of some console sims etc. (with CC to make your job easier!) so you can add those if you want more chaos. I’ve also made a few quality of life changes.

REQUIRED CC & MODS

For some reason that I can’t understand, 9 times out of 10 it seems that as soon as you enter a lot, all graves in the neighborhood are deleted. However, this is very easy to fix using 2 mods:

No Unlink On Delete, you should have this mod from the beginning really, but in case you don’t, it prevents a disappearing gravestone from deleting character data. Install before loading up the neighborhood just in case.

HoodChecker to run on the neighborhood after first startup, if you enter a lot that is supposed to have gravestones and discover it doesn’t. Exit the game and run HoodChecker to bring the gravestones back.

While not as damaging if left out, Heterochromia eyes are used in the neighborhood as many sims have different eye colors depending on game. To solve this I gave them two different eye colors. They show up in the Glasses section.

Recommended CC (not required!)

Hexagonal-bipyramid’s TS2 Traits mod as it allows you to add traits from The Sims 3, helps you truly capture the “all canon” feeling.

Sim Manipulator if your game is in another language (AKA not English), as sims will sometimes change names to “translate” to your language.

The base used for this neighborhood was @meetmetotheriver‘s clean sub-neighborhoods of Pleasantview/Strangetown/Veronaville. I may expand in the future. But for now, this is chaotic enough. Sims from @danies-simsational-blog​’s Sunset Valley were sometimes used as a base.

This is Pleasantview but ridiculously inaccurate as per ChatGPT's beliefs. Since the AI language model likes to give different information every time, this obviously ended up being a mess.

Have you ever wanted creepy, AI-generated art inspired by Bella Goth on your walls in-game? Probably not, but just in case you have, I’ve made a few for you.

Some of the art is pure AI nonsnse based off descriptors (like “elegant” “athletic” “red dress” “golf”) but some is AI edits of photos of Bella available in the game. Because of this some pictures  meant to represent Bella shows her as white as she is in Sims 4. I can’t control that unfortunately. Then again, in some of these pictures she doesn’t even look human at all, so this is perhaps the least of your problems.

This folder has 6 of them, all on the Lady on Red mesh. I might make more if AI creates something cool.

My recreation of Claire Charming from The Sims Unleashed that I plan to use in my Widespot/Sunset Valley! Her clothes are a quick recolor of Maxis outfits turned into separates by @whattheskell, and the hair is monsterglitter’s Raon 97 which has been messed up a lot in GIMP until it formed this color.

Skintone and eyes are NOT included! These are leh’s default skintones which I seem unable to find a download link to and @redplaysthesims 3t2 tamo eyes.

This is my first time uploading a sim and I have no goddamn clue what the rules are, so if I’m uploading something here using your CC that you have not approved of, shoot me a message and I’ll take it down.

These two are not happy about needing to stand next to each other. One is a little better at hiding it though. Wait, that's the same thing I wrote in the last post...

I didn’t plan on posting these as I made them for personal use, but typing up the earlier post made me realize that I wanted to give more to the community. Even if it’s not Halloween-related. And even if it’s something that didn’t take long.

So what is this? A bunch of hairs that I slapped Neena+Remi’s gorgeous texture blend on. I use a lot of different hair textures in my game but these are definitely one of my favorites. Modelled by Winterose sims Robin Banks and Lian Pan.

I don’t know if these have been done before but back when I made them they hadn’t AFAIK.

I might upload some more hairs if anyone wants them?

In all 4 base colors, binned and all. The bun includes an extra custom hair which I didn’t intend to upload but it’s in there now... If you don’t want it, just delete the package labelled 50blonde50brown. It’s a very dark blonde color basically by blending the brown and blonde hair textures.

I made her forehead a little bigger to work better with the bangs but otherwise tried to stay fairly close to the original while still having my own take on her.
