The Uncharted Tomb

All chapter of my upcoming fanfic will be written on pc. This is an upcoming fanfic inspired by uncharted and tomb raider. there will be mentions of characters from both games. this fanfic will have seven different endings. a good ending, bad ending and five different character endings.

Prologue _________________________________________________________

Maybe it wasn't a good idea leaving your hometown and taking the first job offered to you. You don't know how you got trapped with your enemies Nathan and Sam, but your condition was getting to a critical point. you needed a way out of the cave now. your body ached, as you shivered in your wet clothes. you've never regretted your actions as much as you do right now, your sister was right you weren't ready for this type of work. Being an archeologist isn't easy, the many stories Lara has shared with you proved that, but you didn't think it would lead to this. feeling Alone, cold and vulnerable. your movement slowed as you walked, you lean on the side of the cave. you slide down slowly. you wanted to say something, but nothing left your mouth. Hugging your knees your vision became blurry, your eyes closed, and darkness surrounded you.

The dusty air filled your lungs as you walked beside Sully, keeping to yourself like always. You had joined the group not too long ago after Sully had recruited you. He had seen something in you — maybe your quiet, observant nature, or your knack for finding things no one else could. Either way, it had landed you here with Nathan Drake, Chloe Frazer, and Sully himself, on yet another treasure hunt.

"Try not to get lost in your thoughts there, kid," Sully grumbled, giving you a nudge.

You blinked, realizing you'd been staring off at the distant horizon. "Sorry," you mumbled, pushing a strand of hair behind your ear. You had a habit of zoning out, especially when you were nervous. And around Nathan Drake, nerves were a constant.

Nate, who was a few paces ahead, glanced over his shoulder at you. The trademark smirk tugged at his lips, and you immediately felt your face warm.

"You should listen to Sully," Nate called back. "Wouldn't want to lose our secret weapon, would we?"

You shot him a small glare, though it lacked any real heat. Nate had taken an immediate liking to teasing you the moment you joined the group. Whether it was your shy nature or the way you blushed at the smallest hint of flirtation, you weren’t sure. But Nate seemed to get a kick out of it.

"I think I can manage," you replied, trying to sound more confident than you felt. It wasn’t that you disliked Nate. Quite the opposite, actually. But his constant teasing kept you on edge, making it hard to focus.

"Yeah, I bet you can," Nate said, falling back a few steps to walk beside you. He leaned in slightly, his voice low. "But you gotta admit, it’s kind of cute when you get all flustered."

Your eyes widened as the heat in your cheeks intensified. "I’m not— I’m not flustered," you stammered, knowing full well that the blush covering your face betrayed you.

Nate chuckled, clearly enjoying the reaction. "Sure you’re not."

Sully, who was walking ahead, grumbled something about "kids these days" but didn’t intervene. He had seen the way Nate liked to mess with you and probably figured you could handle yourself. Chloe, who was at the back of the group, remained quiet but shot you an amused glance. She had been pretty neutral toward you since you joined, though you suspected she found Nate’s antics just as entertaining as he did.

The group pressed on through the abandoned ruins, the chatter dying down as everyone focused on the task at hand. You were good at your job, and despite the teasing, Nate never doubted your abilities. You’d proven yourself time and time again by spotting clues and solving puzzles that no one else could. That was part of the reason why Sully had recruited you — you were observant, detail-oriented, and quick-thinking. A valuable asset to any treasure-hunting team.

As the day wore on and the group found themselves in front of an ancient stone wall, everyone took a moment to assess the situation. Nate crouched down, examining some markings, while Chloe and Sully stood a few feet away, discussing their next move.

You, meanwhile, kept your distance, your eyes scanning the area, trying to piece together the puzzle. You liked observing from a distance, quietly working through the clues in your head before offering your insight. It wasn’t that you didn’t trust the others; it was just easier to think when you weren’t the center of attention.

After a few minutes, you spotted something that caught your eye — a subtle engraving hidden near the base of the wall. It looked like a small, almost invisible lever.

"Uh, I think I found something," you said softly, stepping forward and pointing to the spot.

Nate immediately perked up, grinning as he joined you. "Let’s see what you’ve got."

He leaned in close, far too close, and you could feel his breath on your neck. It took all your willpower not to flinch, though your face betrayed you once again by turning red.

"Nice work," he murmured, his voice low and almost teasing. "You are really good at this, you know?"

You swallowed hard, avoiding eye contact. "It’s nothing."

Nate chuckled, reaching out to pull the lever you’d pointed out. With a soft grinding sound, the wall shifted, revealing a hidden passageway. The group gathered around, impressed by your find, but all you could focus on was the way Nate was still standing so close, his shoulder brushing yours.

"See?" He said quietly, glancing down at you. "You don’t give yourself enough credit."

You couldn’t bring yourself to respond. Your heart was pounding too loudly in your chest, and your thoughts were a jumbled mess. Nate had that effect on you, no matter how hard you tried to play it cool.

Chloe, noticing the interaction, rolled her eyes. "Save the flirting for later, Drake. We’ve got work to do."

Nate grinned, finally stepping back and giving you a little space. "Right, right. Don’t worry, there’ll be plenty of time for that later."

You shot him a look, half-exasperated and half-embarrassed, as Sully led the way into the passage. You followed closely behind, keeping your head down and trying to focus on anything other than the teasing smirk you knew Nate was still wearing.

The rest of the day passed in a blur of narrow passageways, booby traps, and solving ancient riddles. You managed to hold your own, as always, but every time Nate got too close or threw a flirty comment your way, you felt yourself flushing all over again.

By the time the group made camp for the night, you were utterly exhausted, both physically and emotionally. Sitting by the fire, you kept to yourself, as usual, letting the others talk while you observed quietly. It wasn’t that you didn’t enjoy their company — it was just easier to watch from the sidelines.

Nate, however, seemed determined not to let you slip away so easily. He sat down beside you, his expression a mix of mischief and curiosity.

"You know," he said softly, "you don’t have to be so quiet all the time. We like having you around."

You blinked, surprised by the sincerity in his voice. "I just… I’m not great at… talking."

Nate smiled, his gaze softening. "That’s okay. I think you’re perfect just the way you are."

Your heart skipped a beat, and for once, you couldn’t find the words to respond. But as you glanced up at him, meeting his eyes, you could see that maybe, just maybe, Nathan Drake wasn’t just teasing after all.

AN: hi everyone sorry for being on and off recently just life has NOT been good to me just a lot mentally I'm trying to work on stuff but my motivation comes and goes but I wanted to start another series on top of the one I have rn until I can think of a story more so going forward for that one but recently I've been loving Nathan Frazer and there is BARELY any fan fics of him so I wanna change that this will be a reader x nathan Frazer this is pure indulgence for me but this will be a series and I have at least a first few chapters planned out and I will also in the beginning of the story use the fact that nathan and Thea are dating irl in this story line but I hope you guys enjoy it (ALSO IMPORTANT ive always liked Ali so I'm writing this as if he was still in WWE)

Y/n had recently been let go from her job as a makeup person on AEW. But lucky for her NXT was looking for a new makeup person for the girls and some of the guys for when special effects were needed. That was a few months ago now it had been a few months and she had made tons if new friends including Thea, Gigi, Roxanne and even RHEA BLOODY RIPLEY. And over time y/n have gotten to know a lot of the boys like Dominik, Wes, Ali and..... Nathan. See the thing is it's not like y/n DIDN'T like Nathan it was actually quite the opposite y/n LIKED him like had a crush on him. One problem though.... He was currently dating her best friend thea. They have been together for about 2 years now(I guessed) . She started to realise she liked him over the last few weeks are so and was to nervous to say anything for 2 reasons. 1. She didn't want to seem like a bad best friend for liking her bff's boyfriend if she told Thea and 2. She didn't want to tell anyone IN CASE it some how got around to thea. She didn't want to lose her best friend over a stupid crush of a stupid British boy(sorry but I'm allowed that comment I'm British myself). So she kept it a secret and made sure NO ONE would find out. The thing is being BFFs with your crushes girlfriend means you are around said crush All. THE. TIME. whenever there wasn't a backstage segment or a fight the 2 were always together. But luckily Nathan had been a lot busier recently due to being one half of the NXT men's tag team champions. But usually whenever he was around he would not have axiom his tag partner with him. Which was good because it kept your mind off of Nathan and helped you not feel like a third wheel as much. Now tonight you had a huge match you were facing Kalani Jordan for the NXT women's north American championship. You were nervous but also excited so you, thea, Sol, Nathan and axiom were all hanging out and you were warming up while talking with the others. "So do you feel ready for your match?" Axiom asked. "Yeah I'm nervous but I know kalani won't play dirty and I can trust she will be fair" she replied back "yeah you're gonna kill it I know you can do it!! " Thea said enthusiastically. "Thanks Thea I really hope I win because not only will this mean I get my first ever title but that means that I'm ready to actually BE a champion." As she finished her sentence her music her "wish me luck guys!" She said as he went out to the ring for her match.

What went wrong

Pairing: Dragon Lee x Fem reader

Description: You end up breaking your neck during a match trying a new move

You had been training a bit more than you already did changing up your moveset not only since you had been seeing and wanting to try new moves in your wrestling but also for your upcoming match on Smackdown that would show just a bit of your new skills before your WWE debut at Crown Jewel the next upcoming month that you were over the moon about but it was also making you a wreck and on the edge of a nervous breakdown with how badly you wanted to show everything you had and not just within NXT. Dragon walked by watching you work in the ring with crash pads in between talking with Lyra Valkyrie and Giulia while he went further down to the gym working out with Nathan Frazer and Trick Williams as normal whenever everyone was training and working out at the performance center for upcoming tapings or house shows and especially before a big pay per view event and Crown Jewel was not any exception to any pay per view abroad and with how many different things have happened at the event, you were on the top rope after testing out a four fifty splash before deciding to test out a Phoenix splash mixed with a corkscrew moonsault getting half of it before landing on the crash pad leading to the next twenty six minutes of you doing it again and again yelling in frustration when you almost hit it dead on perfectly unaware of how things would change with one action that you didn't think much on by trying the move one last time. Everything was fine as a few of the girls talked near the ring when they heard a loud echo from the ring before Sol Ruca yelled loudly running out to get the medic while you laid in the ring feeling tingling in your body while laying on the ground holding your head completely quiet since you didn't realize what had happened since it was so fast and there was no time for you to realize why you were out of it and couldn't feel nothing but tingles and numbness throughout your body, dragon saw an ambulance as he walked in the hall texting you looking up when he heard crying before sol ruca spoke to him saying that something had happened and you were badly hurt and before he knew it his heart was ripped out when he saw you on the stretcher with a look of fear and confusion before he was holding your hand tightly as you were loaded in the ambulance. His soul was snatched out of him when he walked in after being stuck in the waiting room for what felt like an eternity before he was led to your room where you laid in a neck brace after having X-rays and immediately having surgery to fuse your C5 and C6 together so you wouldn't be paralyzed and God he wished that he would have told you to stay home instead of having you go to the performance center with him for a workout and to train for matches while hanging out with everyone, "I thought you were gone Mi amor, I'm so glad you're here" you teared up at his words as he kissed your forehead choked up with emotion while gently pressing your foreheads together running his hand through your hair leading to the next two and a half weeks in the hospital before you began your long journey of grueling physical therapy and recovering from the injury missing Crown Jewel but what happened only made you more determined as weeks turned to months before it had been seven months and what everyone didn't expect was your debut at WrestleMania 39 not only helping Edge win his hell in a cell match with Finn but also challenging Rhea after she won the Smackdown's women's championship against Charlotte Flair which was the start of the next chapter of your career and life.

as y/n is sitting backstage watching the monitors she saw the promo of nathan frazer coming to nxt. y/n was so ecstatic. her bestfriend was going to come to the united states. y/n and nathan have been bestfriends ever since their time in the independence.

ever since they first met they’ve been bestfriends. they instantly connected with each other and they’ve done everything together for the 2 years they were on the indies.

y/n has been signed for about 2 years now. it’s been 2 year since she has seen her bestfriend. nathan was also signed with wwe, but he was apart of nxt uk. y/n and nathan would try to make their long distance friendship work but it didn’t. within 3 months they stopped texting.

next week

y/n was so excited to see nathan after so long. as soon as she arrived to the building and saw nathan all of the memories and feelings came flooding back.

y/n had remembered all of the feelings she’d keep hidden from nathan. afraid he didn’t feel the same way. as she began to walk to the women’s locker room she turned around as someone yelled her name.

she turned around to see nathan smiling. y/n ran up to nathan and jumped on nathan and wrapped her legs around him. “i’ve missed you so much nathan.” she said excitingly. “i’ve missed you to y/n” he says hugging her tightly.

as nathan placed her down on her feet and they looked at each other eye to eye. they started staring at each other for what felt like forever.

“how was your time down in the uk” y/n says breaking the silence. “pretty good. i missed you though.” he said. y/n began to smile at that response. “how was your time down here” he said laughing softly. “it was amazing. i met so many people and got so many opportunities” y/n said smiling.

y/n and nathan started to staring at each other again for what felt like ages AGAIN and there staring was broke up by a voice in the background. “nathan your on in 5 minutes” one of the producers reminded him. “well i got to go y/n. want to catch up later?” he asks. “of course i would love to” she said.

after nathan’s debut match was spoiled by grayson waller he came to the back and got told he would be participating in nxt’s episode of spring breaking.

as you were walking around backstage getting ready for your match in the capitol wrestling center when you saw nathan and chase talking when nathan looked at you and smiled.

nathan had them walked up to you and wished you good luck on your match against the nxt women’s champion mandy rose. “you got this” your bestfriend said with a smile. the same smile that made you fall in love with him.

as you walk towards the guerilla you begin to get chills because if you beat mandy then that guarantees you a title match in the near future.

when you made your way down the ramp you saw how mandy left jacy and gigi backstage making you feel more confident. as soon as the referee signaled for the bell to ring you felt in the zone.

y/n and mandy were putting on an instant classic. y/n had mandy trapped in the corner. y/n was doing the running knee when mandy moved out of the way and y/n’s knee his the exposed turn buckle. y/n instantly yelled in pain.

y/n tried making her way up to the top turn buckle when she felt her knee buckle. y/n fell off the top turn buckle and onto the mat. “this can’t be happening” she said under her breathe. “can you continue this match” the referee asked her. “yes” she yelped in pain.

y/n tried standing back up only to fall back down. she began to cry in pain and that’s when the referee called the match to be over. medics came down to the ring and helped y/n backstage.

as soon as y/n got backstage she was comforted by nathan. “are you okay” he asked worried to death. “omg i’m so sorry y/n” mandy said from behind nathan. “i feel so bad y/n, i am really sorry.” she said concerned. “it’s okay mandy. i know it was an accident girly.” mandy smiles and then walks away to leave you alone with nathan.

“my first time watching you from backstage and you get injured. i must be bad luck or something” nathan says trying to lighten the mood. “for sure” y/n said laughing. after y/n got treated by the medics, nathan helped y/n back to her apartment.

nathan placed y/n on her bed and tucked her in. y/n wasn’t really that tired, but she still didn’t stop nathan from tucking her in.

nathan smiles at how’s eyes shine in the moonlight. as nathan walks away from the bed to leave, y/n grabs him hand. “please stay” she said with tears starting to form in her eyes.

nathan took his shoes off and got under the covers. “thank you so much for helping me earlier” y/n said with tears rolling down her face.

“why are you crying my love” he asks y/n wiping her tears away. “because i don’t want you to think i’m weird for being injured. i know it’s stupid but i don’t want you to think differently of me.” she said crying uncontrollably.

“y/n i will never think of you in any negative way. you’re badass for wanting to through with that match even after you got injured.” he begins back up and says “plus why do you care so much what someone like me thinks of you.”

“someone like you? what’s that suppose to mean nathan. you’re amazing, kind, handsome, and my bestfriend.” y/n said as nathan began to smile.

“you think i’m handsome” he says smiling. “well maybe” y/n said blushing uncontrollably. “y/n i need to tell you something” he said nervously. “i lo-“ he was cut off by her phone ringing.

“sorry, it’s just the girls checking in on me” she said. “well y/n as i was about to say i lo-“ he was cut off this time by y/n covering his mouth.

“actually i need to tell you something” she said nervously. “of course y/n what’s up” he said smiling as he takes a strand of hair and puts it behind her ear.

“i’m in love with you nathan and i always have been. ever since we first met.” y/n sunk when she didn’t get an immediate response. “y/n i feel the exact same way. that’s what i was going to tell you actually. all of the time we spent together on the indies and all of the memories we made together made me fall in love with you.” he said.

before he could continue y/n placed her lips on his and then pulled away. “nathan” she began to say. “i love you so-“ she was cut off by nathan’s lip on hers.

from then on out they knew they would always be more then just friends.

Chloe Frazer is a tease. She’ll take all the time in the world to admire every inch of you before she gets to the point. She enjoys grazing your neck with a flourish of butterfly-light pecks, slowly working her way up to your mouth. And then, she goes all in.

Elena Fisher is gentle, she’s the type of girl to give you a peck on the cheek whenever she walks by. She’ll pepper your lips in a plethora of sweet kisses, or hold your face with tender hands and ghost your lips. She can be an awkward kisser at times, but it’s still nice.

Summary : The reader is Nathan's GF who's there to support him on an episode of NXT.

You're minding your own business one night while backstage at an NXT show and waiting for your boyfriend to finish his match. Sat down on a bench in catering, you're busy scrolling through your phone when all of a sudden a shadow is cast over you. 

"Hmm?" You look up from your phone and find Grayson Waller eyeing you up with a flirty smile. 

"Well well well, what do we have here?" Grayson grins down at you and invites himself to sit next to you. "I don't think that I've seen you around here, sweetheart. And I know that I definitely would have remembered a babe like you." He winks at you with no shame. 

You set your phone in your lap and roll your eyes. "Grayson Waller, right?" You ask him with an unimpressed tone. 

"Oh, so you've heard of me then?" Grayson chuckles, licking his lips as he continues to eye you up. 

"I have, yeah." You nod. "I believe you're the one that my boyfriend is up against tonight." You smile at him. "Does the name, Nathan Frazer, ring any bells in that pretty-boy head of yours?" 

Waller's smile falters a bit at the mention of a boyfriend. But the Aussie playboy is quick to recover from the blow. "That dorky Seth Rollins wannabe bagged a babe like you?" He snorts. "Ah, now that's a crime right there, sweetheart." 

"Oh? Is that so?" You fake an interested laugh. 

"Hell yeah!" Grayson eggs on. "A solid 10 like you, sweetheart? You should be on the arm of someone much cooler than Nathan Frazer." He insists. 

You stifle a laugh, admiring Waller's persistence with this bit. "Someone like you, I assume?" You ask him. 

"Sure!" Grayson nods with a snarky grin. "Just say the word gorgeous and I'll sweep you off your feet." He assures you. 

"My hero." You roll your eyes. "But before we get to the part where you sweep me off my feet, aren't you at least going to ask me my name?" You ask him. 

Grayson realizes his mistake in not asking what your name is and nods. "Of course! Where are my manners? What is the name that goes with such a lovely girl?" He asks you. 

"It's, Y/N." You reply with a smile. "Y/N Rollins." 

Realization kicks in and Grayson's confident smile slips away. You laugh and get to your feet, leaving him sitting on the bench. Nathan comes into the room at just the right time and beckons you over with a small wave. 

"It was a good effort, Waller." You shrug with a grin. "I look forward to seeing my Seth Rollins's wannabe kick your ass in the ring though." You laugh and walk off. 

You walk over to the other side of the room where Nathan is waiting for you. You get over to his side and he slings an arm over your shoulder gently. "Were you just talking to Grayson Waller, babe?" He asks you curiously. 

"Mhm," You hum. "He was making a very compelling argument on why I should dump you for him." You joke. "Something about you being a washed-up, Seth Rollins wannabe." 

"Did he now?" Nathan chuckles. "Quite the choice of words, huh?" He leans down and kisses your cheek. 

"I know." You giggle. "You mind if I come out to the ring for your match tonight? I wanna have a little bit more fun?" You ask him.

"Of course!" Nathan chuckles again. "You know that I love having you out there with me." He kisses your cheek gently again.

"Yay!" You joke with a smile.

Later in the night, you head out to the ring with Nathan for his match. You walk over to the commentary table and sit down next to Wade and Vic.

"What a surprise seeing you here, Y/N." Vic greets you. "What brings you down to NXT?" He asks you casually.

"Yes, don't you have enough time bothering the Raw and Smackdown commentary teams, Y/N?" Wade adds in an annoyed tone.

You roll your eyes and smile at Vic. "I'm just here to annoy your partner, Vic. But thank you, anyway." You joke.

Vic chuckles and everyone turns toward the ramp when Grayson makes his way out to the ring. You send a sly smile Waller's way as he passes you, and he tries to ignore you.

"Don't tell me that you came here to flirt?" Wade scoffs when he sees you.

"Jealous, Wade?" You bat your eyelashes at him. "No? Then mind your own business, Barrett." You warn him. "Honestly, Vic. How do you put up with him?"

Vic laughs at your quip and the bell rings for the match to start. Nathan and Grayson get to work against one another. You cheer on Nathan when he's not too focused, and he grins at you from the ring each time.

The match lasts around 10 minutes before Nathan gets the win over Waller. You give Vic and Wade one last smile before you head into the ring.

"Tell me, Grayson. Who's the has-been, now?" You laugh as you step over Waller. "Because it doesn't look like it's, Nathan."

Grayson growls from the floor as he picks himself off the ground. He glares at you as Nathan steps to your side and you raise his hand in victory.

"Whatever!" Waller snaps. "You weren't even that hot, to begin with!" He pouts as he stomps off.

Nathan chuckles and you turn to him. "Well, now that can't be further from the truth." He grins at you and leans down. "Tell me, love. Do I get a kiss for beating him?" He asks you.

"I suppose that you might deserve one." You giggle and kiss him gently.
