It wasn’t exactly the worst thing but certainly wasn’t always the best when it came to life. A balance was really what was the best. Equal heart and head. He had learned that himself the hard way a few times in his life now. It was part of being human he supposed but he hoped that he could save Stiles the trouble of running into trouble with his heart only. To make sure that this was something that had been thought through instead of just going on the feeling of it all. ❝ Never a good idea to let your heart fully take over control. Brain gives ya the logic that you’re heart isn’t gonna give ya and that can turn dangerous real quick in any aspect of your life. I learned real quick in the war that heart can’t replace. The two need to work together. ❞

Derek sighed as he watched the other. “Then get some sleep” He suggested as he let his hazel green eyes wash over the human, he knew it weren’t that easy for the other, but still, maybe if he nudged him in the right direction he would feel inclined to do what he was told, not lightly, but it was worth a shot.

   – It’s a quiet night. Too quiet, even, and somehow that silence is making Theo extremely uncomfortable. All he can hear clearly is his own beating heart and breathing.

   When it’s this quiet, his mind starts to play tricks on him, or replay memories. Sounds he wish he could erase forever. The static, stress-and painful noise. They are not here anymore, but when his imagination starts to do it’s work, he can barely deal with it.

   Theo huffs in annoyance and slight terror before he sits up from his back seat and gets out of his truck. Still nothing besides his own body making noises. Perhaps some crickets far far away but they’re dull.

   He decides to dress off quickly and then shifts before running off towards a familiar neighbourhood not that far away from his mobile home. The window he’s about to sneak into is dark. There might be a light from somewhere in there but it’s probably just Stiles who’s fallen asleep without turning it off first.

    Theo climbs up, jumps and makes his way inside. He actually tries to be quiet this time. He sees the other boy lie in his bed and doesn’t want to wake him up just yet.     ..Hopefully he’s fast asleep and won’t notice if Theo would climb up and lie down beside him.

    ...or Hell, maybe he should wake him up. With a steaming hot breath, full teeth showing and drool dripping down.

   Mmm.. maybe not. Still, he stands slightly over Stiles and tilts his head back and forth, thinking of what he should do.

There was a brief moment of hesitation as he debated how he was going to respond. The tired look was something he was usually able to hide as something he really only knew. Though when it came down to it he really was too tired to come up with something to change the subject away from him. “I’m fine” he finally said with a shrug of the shoulders, if anything he was going to attempt to brush it off like it was nothing.

"Stiles!" Scott slammed the door open and fell across the threshold, nearly tripping over his own feet as he ran through the house, his panic obvious as he clamored into the living room. He snatched up the remote, ignoring that his best friend was playing a video game, and quickly changed the channel to the news. “Look, dude, zombies!” he said, eyes wide as he stared at the woman on screen, talking about people going crazy and attacking others, biting people and only dying when getting shot in the head.

Scott's eyes went wide as he stared at the screen, not sure what to do, or where to go. “They said it's spreading. Started in Mexico three days ago and moving north. Nobody knows what's causing it,” he explained, bouncing on his toes as he watched the news report, a mix of excitement and terror at the news of zombies being real.

Erica had been crying. It was the anniversary of her mother’s death and she wasn’t handling it well. With most of her pack gone, she’d felt so alone lately and thinking about her mother didn’t help. She jumped when she heard a noise and whipped at her eyes as Stiles crashed through her window and fell on the floor in a heap. After asking what he was doing there she watched as he awkwardly confessed his feeling that she’d needed him. A deep red blush spread across her cheeks as she looked away. “I’m fine.”

Derek’s brows furrowed ever so slightly as he tried to figure him out. Though he should just come to the conclusion that he was never really going to be able to figure Stiles out. “I’m not telling you what to do” he started off saying “i’m just as you said giving some advice and or suggestions as to what you should do” he said with a shrug of the shoulders.
