Well, for me, I designed Poseidon from a deep sea, while Amphitrite is from the beauty of the sea and sea foam. They complement each other! Poseidon is a calm and chill dude, but Amphitrite is wayyyyy more chill. You know, he has a bad temper due to storms he often causes— I like the idea of him being a deep sea but can still cause a massive trouble on the surface (like tsunami thing, earthquakes and all.) And Amphitrite is the one who can manage to calm him down. He’s her protector after all, that’s his promise when they’re getting married.

They’re married but also in an open relationship. Poseidon, as we know, has a lot of affairs lol. My hc is Amphitrite understands that the sea could never be contained, and her husband is very much like that. They love each other in a way that they know they’re also each other’s comfort zone. So, whatever they do, wherever one of them go, they’ll always come back to the other.

And for some adorable hc? The sea is unpredictable. And my Poseidon loves to change his hairstyle. You would see him change it almost every day (I know I didn’t show it much bc I’m too lazy I’m so sorry 😂) Either him doing his hair himself, or Amphitrite will do it for him. He loves the latter though, bc his wife will always find him some pretty accessories (well he just loves it more bc his wife is doing it.) It doesn’t have to be noticeable, sometimes it’s just a small part that changed. You would never know how the wave is changing until it hits you hard, right?

Here is a doodle that I didn’t plan to post it, but since I’m yapping about it, I’ll drop it here too 💜 Poseidon with his little braid that his wife did for him, and he’s so proud of it.
