up until three weeks ago ravi could not have been more oblivious to the supernatural world outside of pop culture

literally has not read a book in like nine years

for the last year and a half, he’s lived out of his sprinter van driving up and down the west coast of north america chasing the waves and the sun and making friends

when he woke up underneath stearns wharf he thought he just got a little too drunk the night before 

what he wasn’t expecting was to be hungry as fuck, trying to get off in the back of a warehouse rave and ingest blood. it happens..., happened, but it certainly wasn’t on his vision board.

driving out of santa barbara like a bat out of hell, ravi’s been hitting up cities trying to find someone for the night to nibble on and then carry on.

he doesn’t know why he stopped in BH, hell, he doesn’t even know who his sire is, but he felt compelled to settle in.

landing an easy gig as a bartender he’s shacked up in a crap apartment bringing home guests after last call.

jo never had a normal life and she has never really wanted one; she was raised by hunters and taught from a young age to be wary of the world around you.

when she was still just a little girl, her father was killed and jo decided at the age of seven she would continue her father’s legacy. she wanted to be a hero just like he was, to her mom’s dismay. 

she did as much research as she could, asking questions and eavesdropping on other hunters at the bar. she turned her diaries into hunter journals until her mom caught her doing it. 

they fought again and again about it, her mom not wanting jo to end up like her father. they made an agreement that jo would try out college first, and if she didn’t enjoy it she could quit and work at the bar full time. 

she barely lasted a full semester before she was dropping out, her mind still stuck on being a hunter.

she just began hunting about six months ago and it has really shaken her. 

she’s still confident and a sarcastic little shit but the things she’s already seen, they’ve scared her some. 

she’s also currently hiding her hunting lifestyle from her mother.

Hello! Here is Elena! She is pretty much just season one Elena. She’s just lost her parents, she’s trying to pull herself through it, and not really succeeding. She is human and has no idea about supernatural or anything really. She just worries about her friends, Jeremy and Jenna, and all that stuff.

The only changes are really her aging up. So she’s going to the university and studying writing and English. I imagine that she would have been pursuing that before everything else happened. She’s also working as a waitress to help out Jenna with money and stuff and to keep busy.

All her plots are open though! Until we get a Matt and Stefan and Jeremy and stuff, I am just keeping those links open, so for right now she hasn’t been dating Matt for a while, if we get a Stefan if he saved Elena can be all up to them, and the whole Jeremy situation is open if we get him too. Since she is human and stuff and doesn’t know about supernatural, she doesn’t have any vervain or the vervain necklace, so she can be compelled and all. She also doesn’t know about being adopted or anything.

Okay so virtually a lot of Castiel’s past prior to the canon SL of SPN is going to remain canon, i’ll try to sum it up but for any in depth stuff it’s all on the Cas wiki. 

Cas has been around pretty much since the very beginning, he recalls seeing the first fish emerge from the ocean but back then Castiel was virtually a child around the time Lucifer rebelled against heaven and refused to bow down to humanity. While some of his brothers found interest in Lucifer, Castiel recalls being frightened and disturbed by the rebellious Archangel. 

He served in a Garrison along with other Angels, aided in the destruction of an Angel who had fathered a Nephilim and in the Nephilims destruction as was commanded. Later joining the Garrison ran by Anna whom he had become close with though when Anna eventually fell Castiel became the leader. 

Circling Jimmy Novak as of recently, Castiel with the permission of the man of faith used him as a vessel leaving the man’s daughter and wife behind due to the great surge in power in Beacon hills. 

He came here with the soul purpose of watching and nothing more, though he’s already starting to doubt the orders of those he’s been faithful to from his very creation. 

Personality:

Okay well Cas is definitely the earlier version you’d expect, doesn’t understand emotion too well or earth references but is starting to feel and care for humans more than he should. He’s starting to see the cracks it the orders heaven hands out and it’s a matter of time before he finally gives in and sees the truth. 

As far as gender goes, he’s as his vessel is and without doesn’t have one. His sexuality is fluid, virtually it doesn’t matter the gender of the other person but rather just who the person is. 

At the moment Castiel is very much loyal his fellow Angels and that’s about it, in time this will change dependent on connections etc.

cordelia has been living in this place since she was born. she has always been a popular girl in high school and in college and all. she has her group in this place, always followed that just want to be like her.

she loves acting and she’s working in that area and studying but the thing is...her acting skills are not that great as she thinks but she always tries because that’s what she likes to do.

cordy can be a bit vain at times or maybe a lot, also a bit reckless sometimes and shallow but deep down she is not that bad, she can be caring. the bad thing, terrible maybe is that she doesn’t have a filter, she is very blunt.

Peter Hale was ever the chameleon in his youth. While both he and his sister were popular in their formative years, there was absolutely nothing genuine about Peter’s kindness. He shifted personas to whatever the situation called for, to be whomever he could be to get what he wanted. No hesitation. No regrets. 

He has always resented Talia. She was too soft, too kind, too forgiving. Despite these things, everyone in his family loved her. That’s not to say he hated her, they were family after all; he just...hated her blind belief in humanity. Hated what her peace-orientated mindset would do to them. And it would bring them nothing but misery. 

That’s not to say he wished she was dead. 

Six years is a long time. A long time to be locked in one’s own body, unable to move, locked in his memories when asleep and locked in near frozen time when awake. He can still hear them. Can still smell them. A werewolf’s sense of smell is one of, if not possibly their greatest, strength...it’s something he’s never going to forget. 

There was no one left to spit an “I told you so.”  towards. The rage. The venom. Once great plans for turning Beacon Hills into his own self-proposed utopia shifted towards nothing more than simple, mad ramblings. 

Then it evolved into something much more cold. An all consuming need for revenge.

That didn’t go as planned. 

Though he’d never admit it, he feels regret over taking Laura’s life. Enough regret to turn his eyes blue, a stark reminder every time he looks in the mirror (a usually wonderful and enjoyable pastime).

He’s still recovering since his resurrection (his second now, but who’s keeping count). And honestly, he rarely leaves his apartment--why he hasn’t left town is anyone’s guess (even if he didn’t die years ago, he still feels like a ghost). 

Peter is/was considerably well traveled prior to the Hale fire, he’s amounted a considerable wealth of supernatural knowledge, connections, and wealth. This status has allowed him a degree of independence from relying on his remaining family for support. Not that he’d ever ask for it. He loathes being in debt. 

Since his resurrection, he’s mellowed out some. Not much, but some. Going soft in his old age? Who can tell. His sister was only a year older than him when he died. Makes one think. Not about anything good of course, but Peter was rarely one to think of good things anyway.

TW DEATH & PTSD

 we all know the tragic backstory of what happened in the lahey house so i dont wanna rewrite it- it was really fucked up

this meant that as soon as he turned eighteen, camden enlisted in the military to get away from it all, his plan had been to come back for his brother but camden didn’t last very long after he was shipped out from boot camp, he died in active combat and that should’ve been the end of camden’s story. 

however about a month ago, he found himself waking up again inside beacon hills, covered in dirt but somehow alive.

he’s unsure of why the hell he’s back and he’s been laying low trying to figure it out, he found his way back to derek and he helped him get set up with a new job.

he’s been mostly going by just cam now, using a fake last name when asked in case there’s a few people around town who remember him. 

since coming back, he sleeps maybe five hours a night and it’s not uninterrupted- plagued by nightmares & ptsd that he can’t see anyone for because how do you tell your therapist you’re back from the dead? 

he’s trying to figure out what brought him back and is keeping him here, but a part of him is worried that when he finds it, they’ll kill him again.

since jer is aged up a few years, i’m gonna take this opportunity to diverge from canon a lil!!! so bear with me

he was born the only son and younger child of grayson and miranda gilbert, and grew up constantly shadowing elena and her friends, very much the typical annoying/well-meaning little bro

jer was a huge momma’s boy, miranda got him into art and helped encourage his gifts to grow; grayson taught him how to play ball and was the reason he played baseball for years

at age 16, grayson introduced the supernatural to jeremy and explained the role their family had played over the years. he taught him how to defend himself and their family from the things that would try to kill them

for a while, jeremy believed in it fully — his dad wouldn’t lie to him, these things needed to be stopped. right?  but after some time, he began to lose faith. they were still people, just with some… differences. he didn’t know what to believe anymore. and still doesn’t, sometimes.

grayson and miranda died and jeremy went dark. for a while, he wouldn’t talk to anyone, let anyone in. even elena could barely get him to open up. then he disappeared for a few weeks. completely off the grid, nobody knew where he was.

jeremy had found some of his dad’s journals, met some of his contacts, and spent some time hunting. it was dangerous, he was sloppy, jeremy barely knew what he was doing. but he wanted it to make him feel better. he refused to believe that grayson was gone and something out there wasn’t to blame. but eventually, the grief came back and nothing could slow it down.

eventually he returned home. he didn’t speak about what had gone down, for a while, though he eventually broke down and told elena everything he’d been going through.

jer enrolled in classes at beacon hills university — a bit of a last minute addition, but the administration was willing to overlook anything out of place “given what he’s gone through”

he’s been working at the roadhouse for around a year. he did it to immerse himself in the world of hunting. now he mostly just sticks around to meet other hunters, try and grasp at whatever tidbits of information anyone can tell him about his dad or his family’s past. he knows there’s so much more to the story, there’s gotta be

I figured I’d throw fred into the mix because a) I want to play a human and b) she’s a sweetheart, even if she’s a panicky mess. she’s from the buffy spinoff series angel so she’s a buffy!verse character despite almost none of canon things having actually happened to her from later in the show. 

she’s originally from dallas, texas, only daughter of her two parents

went to university in texas to study physics (though originally she was a history major and switched freshman year), graduated early @ age 20, and intended on going to grad school for physics as well. she got accepted to a program in beacon hills that paid full tuition in exchange for her TA’ing. 

BUT during her first year, at her part-time library job, she ended up reading aloud from a book in a demon language (bad) which opened a portal to a hell dimension (really bad) and she got sucked in. 

she got captured as a “cow,” living in a cave, essentially enslaved to the demons on pylea. she managed to put together enough information about the language to open another portal home, even though it took her five years to figure out. (in the show, she’s saved by angel & co, but as angel’s detective agency doesn’t exist in our rp as far as I know, I just wrote them out of this part of her canon)

so now she’s BACK on earth. her grad program wanted her back despite her multi-year absence, and so she’s still in beacon hills. she doesn’t want to try to go home to texas because she doesn’t know how to explain her disappearance to her parents. 

I also imagine that at some point the initiative might consider recruiting her as a scientist. a future possibility.

on a plot-related note, fred doesn’t have ANY idea that vampires or werewolves or banshees etc are real, but she does know that demons are a thing, even if the demons she’s met do not look like humans whatsoever. 

personality-wise, she’s very bright, a total nerd. she’s a whiz at math and languages, as well as random bits of very specific trivia knowledge she picked up because it interested her. fred’s also kindhearted and tries to help others, when the situation arises. however, her time in the demon dimension fucked her up a bit & now she is often paranoid and on edge pretty much 24/7 at this point. she talks to herself without realizing it because she was used to it for so long, and sometimes she’s concerned she’s only hallucinating being back on earth. even though one part of her is like “formulas! rules!” the other half is like ‘tin hats! conspiracies!” so that’s fun.

madison’s parents were big time supernatural being hunters, and were attacked by ripper vampires, killing her dad & badly inuring and traumatising her mom

her (+ her siblings) took up the family business of hunting (which also masquerades as a self-defence school)

they moved away from beacon hills after the attack (when madison was 12) and have come back in the last couple of months since they heard about the high levels of supernatural activity

madison is uhhh how you say... unhinged. she’s super manipulative and is good at pretending to be sweet and naive, but if she sees you as a supernatural threat then you’re in trouble! 

loves hunting. but she also won’t attack or threaten anyone that doesn’t attack or threaten her like she’s not gonna shoot you on site if you’re a vamp but she will make it clear that she’s watchin’ you

everything but witches are fair game to her. she’s got mad respect that they are all for the balance of nature etc etc. vamps/wolves/wendigos/all that shit is what she’s been taught to hunt. she has a particular grudge against vamps bc of her parents

her beliefs are pretty strong but they’re also not hers like she was more or less talked into all of this by her family

she moved to beacon hills to start fresh with her sister and mom since her parents are not together, are divorced.

dawn can be someone really kind and brave but sometimes she can also be a bit sarcastic, impulsive and stubborn about some things. 

now she’s studying on the university in her first year, she wants to be doctor, actually and she’s very excited about that.

the girl knows about vampires and about her sister being the slayer but she wants to just stay away from that world a bit, however, she’s learning a bit how to fight just to handle herself but not much as she should, she just wants to try and live a normal life.

OKay so I’ve started Jo off from scratch so there isn’t much to add here but i’ll write what I can.

Joanna beth harvelle is a 21 year old pansexual hunter, born and raised on the rural outskirts beacon hills. Since her dad passed away it’s just been her and her Mumma, Ellen. 

Their family owns Harvelle’s Roadhouse, which is popular with bikers, people travelling out of California and supernatural hunters. it’s a bit of a dive, but hey, it’s home. Jo, Ellen and Ash (a hacker, super genius, hunter who was basically taken in by Ellen and Bill when he was alive. Jo seems him as a brother and a pain in the ass). 

Ellen isn’t a fan of Jo hunting, so half the time she does it behind her mums back, with the help of the boys of course and Ash. 

She’s pretty abrasive, knows how to look after herself and extremely rough around the edges.

growing up she was friends with a few of the group in beacon hills, having all gone to beacon hills high together, however Jo was always the “freak with a knife collection” to them. maybe now that she’s older and things are changing around them, this may change.

MEET SPIKE below the cut

‘sup !! i’m tara, and i’ll be playing spike. i’m so excited all of these canons are overlapping, can’t wait to see what happens with spike’s interactions with everyone, etc. 

a little about my interpretation of spike (from btvs):

as a human he was pretty sensitive, and a super shitty poet in the 1800s. a lot of his insecurity stems from his poor treatment by society. he was sired by drusilla and still feels unwavering loyalty to her, I’d think. turned into a genuine monster as a vampire, the power going to his head. overcompensation for sure. the poor role models he was swept up by (angelus, darla, etc) didn’t help much. 

spike projects his personality as a tough, angry asshole roughly 24/7. he’s been obsessed with finding slayers to kill, has killed two of them at this point, which he’ll brag about at length if given the opportunity. he’s not really into world-ending evil, as he enjoys terrorizing normal humans well enough when he’s not hunting slayers. he’s perfectly happy to poke around town and cause trouble, all while taking great pride in his broody image. 

he’s quite arrogant and defensive, but dumbass puppy-dog loyal to certain people, so clearly there’s still that remnant of sensitivity within him that he’s tried to bury. despite that weakness, he does not have the capacity for remorse in any degree, and will attempt to obliterate anyone who tries to mess with him.

The ( 18 ) year old ( HUMAN ) is said to be both ( INTUITIVE ) & ( FLIPPANT ) which is why i guess they’re called “ THE BOY NEXT DOOR ”. adam was born a little bit outside of beacon hills, after his mother patched up john winchester when a hunt went south. soon he was gone, and kate milligan was pregnant with john winchester’s third son

for several years, it was just the two of them. money was tight. and though she couldn’t always afford to give him the newest and shiniest toys, she kept shoes on his feet, a roof over his head, and food on the table.  and they were happy, all things considered. 

kate had always been honest about his father, sharing what little she knew with her son. once he was fourteen, though, the mystery man appeared. 

every so often, he would appear and spend the day with adam — watch some baseball, go fishing, play poker, teach him to drive in the impala, let him drink his first beer.  

adam had no illusions about what it all meant; john was his father by blood but he had missed out on too many years to be a parent. 

he appreciated the gesture, but they both knew john wasn’t filling in some missing piece in adam and kate’s lives. so they carried on, kate sometimes picking up a second job when things got tight and adam studying his way to the top of his class in order to make his mother proud.  

now he’s on the path to premed at beacon hills university.  there were a lot of schools willing to take him, but bhu was cheap and close to home.  he’s determined to make his mom proud

he hasn’t heard from john in a while — not unusual, necessarily, but a little longer than usual.  he’s still got no idea about john’s other life, nor the fact that he has two half-brothers

BACKGROUND CHECK.

bonnie sheila bennett was born february 5th to rudy hopkins and abby bennett. her father was mostly absent from the beginning, when bonnie was a tad older her mother eventually left too. while her mother had her own reasons for leaving bonnie was young and wasn’t able to understand or know the truth. her grandmother, sheila bennett, has almost single-handedly raised bonnie. 

CURRENTLY

bonnie has recently discovered witchcraft and all the weird and wonderful things that come along with it but she’s not prepared at all for all the mayhem that’s about to follow. she’s studying environmental science at bhu and living in dorms aka give my gal a roommate. i think that’s all, but i’ll come back and add to this as i go.
