Gimme Gimme Gimme a Cowboy after midnight 3.0

So.

If you have been around for a while here, you might remember my first artwork of Cowboy!Jacob from 2021.

Well, a while ago, I was in the middle of my rewatch of Yellowstone, complete with a whole brainstorming session for an AU for Jacob and Dottie (in the roles of Beth and Rip, of course), and I thought I would try to do a redraw of him, to see how much I have improved in my skills.

And this is the result, and fml, I am actually so happy with how it turned out. <3

He is my most handsome man, and the King of my Heart forever more <3

Please, allow me to offer this humble 3-hourish artwork I did of my most beloved birb man 🦉🌙✨ (please, be merciful, I am not used to draw birb men lolol) and I just needed to take out my digital crayons and use all my favourite colours (I just adore drawing the night sky and stars. they are my favourite thing <3).

I have been listening on repeat to all his songs, and let me tell you something: it has been *years* since I last felt such strong attachment to a fictional character.

I adore him, and fml I need to tuck him away in my pocket, away from all sorrow.😭😭😭😭😭

Edit: I updated the artwork because I saw a mistake and so Itouched up Shay's face and hair a bit lololol.

So, I received a lovely ask earlier today, regarding the Starrick-Cormac children, and I have to be honest, I just couldn't resist and draw a small artwork with Shay and Dora and ALL the children :)

So, allow me to present Lorcán, Saoirse, Mebh, Órlaith and little Muirgen :)

They all have their peculiarities, of course:

Lorcán is the bold, daring one, with a silver tongue and a very sharp mind, and the one that will sure as heck follow in her father and mother's footsteps; He and Grandmaster Haytham intend each other even too well lol;

Saoirse is the sweetest of the house, the one that doesn't give a dry fig about the Templars but instead adores the sea and spending her time on the Morrigan with her dad to learn all about how ships work; also, she a future cartographer and a small bookworm in the making;

Mebh is basically her father's copy in small, unable to sit still for a moment, always joking around and just pestering Gist and climbing around the Morrigan, bringing along baby Órlaith wherever she goes;

Órlaith is Shay and Dottie's little angel, but do not get fooled by her sweet demeanor, for she is a spitfire, pretty much like her older sister Mebh (and I love how Mebh and Órlaith's dynamic truly mirror Dottie and Theda's one);

And finally Muirgen, the Child of the Sea, for she is only ever happy whenever she is close to the sea. She is the artist of the house, and the XVIII Century Wednesday Addams. Her big brother is the only one that actually manage to make her laugh (even though she still would bite his hand, if he pats her head ONE MORE TIME), and she will join him in the Templar Order.

I have to be honest, I *totally* headcanon that Shay is just a girls' dad: he has that kind of vibe to him that just tells him that he would be the sweetest among his princesses.

Last Line Written/Messy Draft Monday

I was kindly tagged by @tkwritesdumbassassins for this game (thanks TK), and while I do not have anything in terms of writing, I have a small wip I did this morning as a warm-up!

So, have this WIP of Charlie brushing her hair in 1910s undergarments, ready for her first date with Alastor (I just love the idea that she would dress up in clothes that would be familiar for him lololol. Also, my brainrot for them is absurd, so yeah. that's where I will be staying for the time being lolol)

*FINALLY* I managed to finish their Big Damn Kiss!!!

*plops on the floor*

I needed to give Charlie a gothic-y princessy dress as Princess of Hell, I was itching to draw her in a princess dress fml (but am so sad because the bottom part of the dress was a lovely white, but I had to cut the artwork due to *composition*.

AND I NEEDED TO DRAW HER AND ALASTOR SMOOCHING (and practice drawing some smooch, they can be so freaking difficult sometimes).

I also wanted to have fun with colours, so I just went crazy with all hues I could find (and I am honestly so happy that red is the main colour for both of them, because it means that I can use as much blue and purple and violet as I want lolol).

Well, I hope you will like this!

AND I AM FINALLY DONE, FML.

I cannot reiterate how much I love drawing mermaids, bioluminescence and underwater scenes, and I cannot reiterate how much I love drawing these two together: Shay and Dottie have my heart, because I associate both of them so much to the sea, that to me they represent something absolutely inseparable.

annnnd I am actually happy with how this turned out, coloring and all, tbh! I had this concept for Mermaid!Dottie for a few years, and after listening to this songs for HOURS (seriously, I listened to it days, I cannot even start to explain the huge amount of serotonine I felt) I just felt like I had the ocean singing in my ears now, so loudly, that I couldn't ignore it and had to just draw what my brain was suggesting me!

I was debating for DAYS if to go with Dottie as a Selkie or as a Mermaid, and in the end, I decided to go with mermaid because, due to how dark the whole background was, I thought bioluminescence would work best in terms of lightining!

BUT.

BUT.

Selkie!Dottie is such an old concept (again, she was the origin of Aura), that I very much want to draw her as a Selkie as well <3

And also, I finally have an artwork worthy of being a poster that I would hang in my own studio <3

Finally your asks are open! I just here out of curiosity because I recently watched the 2004 movie "Vanity Fair" and the character of Becky Sharp (Played by Reese Witherspoon) just gave me like some early 1800s Dorothea Starrick. Maybe is her dress style, her hair (though not so much since Dottie has platinum blonde hair and Becky has a strawberry blonde color.), everything reminds me of Dorothea. Plus, since you called her "Morning star" there's a accessory that she wears that it will look so perfect for Dorothea, she wore a starry veil. Maybe a drawing of Vanity Fair Dorothea as Becky Sharp might be a good idea for a drawing? 😁

I *loved* your idea, I can see Dottie resembling Becky (in spirit, if anything else), so the moment you mentioned the starred veil, I knew i had to draw a small doodle!

I honestly like to imagine that she would wear something like this even during her marriage, to further solidify the whole "Morning Star" mythos that was created around her!
