i missed the game last night but hearing Rumor they did the “we talked abt heiskanen, now of course you have to talk about makar” thing. presumably compared them . etc etc. my controversial opinion is that miro could score a goal on makar defending but makar couldn’t score a goal on miro defending . if anyone cares

it perhaps goes without saying but now is not a bad time to evaluate which of your socials links to which others, to clean up your internet privacy discipline, and to delete links where necessary.

If you have a fun "follow me on X!" link on your tumblr, or your X has a link to your insta, or your insta has the same username as your tumblr, then your instagram is not secure.

If your LinkedIn has the same name as your old Facebook, and your old Facebook has links to your tumblr, and your tumblr lists your LGBTQ+ identity, your queerness is not a secret.

If your Blueksy has links to your Instagram, and your Instagram has pictures of you with leftist organizers in your community, your insta is not secure.

Three examples is enough. You get the idea. If someone can click through two websites and find a link to your personal life, your personal life is not safe.

The infrastructure of a website was never safe, and never private, but under the current admin it's going to be more actively dangerous. Make sure your "official" and professional online presence is siloed from your personal online presence as much as possible.

Deleting these connections is not perfect. They will probably still be accessible via cache features and edit histories. But that requires someone from within the organization with some degree of admin access, which is one step more you are obligating someone to take in order to identify you.

Don't get scared. Get smart. Get safe. Get together.

truly wild to me that the renegade route to zaeed's loyalty mission nets you all of 15 renegade points, but i get 30 doing tali's and you don't even have to turn over evidence against her father. you get the best result and literally double the renegade points. mass effect morality system, explain to me how yelling at the admiralty board to leave my crew alone is worth twice as many Evil Points™️ as leaving a refinery full of people to die in a fire. explain that to me

#putting them on a new feed protocol to see if it helps my whole.....situation #high high high fiber and just enough pellet to keep them at an ok weight #annoyed their wean date is....the day before i leave but what can you do #and if anyone is sick when i get home it'll be calling waddl time. and hopefully i learn some answers #i'm kinda worried the answers are gonna be 'yep that's enterotoxaemia and there's nothing you can do' which will be a net zero information #but that's why i'm also trying this new diet at the same time #high fiber and low carb diets are supposed to help kits with weaning stress and prevent enteric diseases according to every college ever #so may as well try!! hay and oats is cheap. ish #also happy that the feed i'd like to switch to is also higher in fiber than any of the local options i have #so maybe it'll also help. but probably the biggest help will be finally getting in the new barn and off these damn dirt floors #glad that it's the slow breeding season anyway so i can take a little break to figure this out without impacting my food supply #i really did think i had this figured out last year but i can never have anything easy #rabbits #blanc de hotot #kits

coworker who is out on medical wants me to make clothes for her. I said sure, find a pattern you like and get fabric, and I'll sew them. but she has no idea how all of that works.

she was like, 'the pattern says 3 7/8 yards of fabric. can I get away with only getting 3?' 'no???' 'even if I'm short?' 'you're not THAT short!!!'

fabric shopping online SUCKS but if she hates the fabric when it comes in, we WILL find a use for it. there are other patterns.

swapping out actors is very par for the course for a daytime soap but there's something very ... meaningful about it in this show, where everyone exactly resembles an ancestor, and those resemblances are significant to their identity and place in the world, while keeping a face unchanged through the centuries announces you as a harbinger of doom. we have known from the moment barnabas arrives that he is the ancestor in the portrait. we know that cassandra is angelique, because her similarly enduring face reveals her intentions. ancient loves are found and lost again through resemblances. victoria's identity is made and unmade in it over and over again.
