People normally link together the terms hypnotherapy treatment and hypnosis. This is to be expected mainly because the two really do go together. Which is greater – YOU or the UNIVERSE?
To begin exploring this idea – let’s first ask – “who are you”?
Most people answer with their name, some answer with their job or role in life. Those things are what you identify with so you can define some labels to attach to, so you can understand. Our minds work with language and labels. If I say “chair” you immediately know what a chair is. You can imagine one, and you can apply the label to many kinds of chair. This is a very handy skill. If you see a weird looking chair that you have never seen before, you still know it’s a chair. This automatic association is both important to your survival, AND the very thing that stops you from getting anything, or everything, you ever wanted in life!
You cannot know your world, except by your five senses (plus the sixth sense – which is connected to universal power). If you had no capacity for any of the five senses – (sight, sound, smell, taste and touch or feeling) – would you know you are alive, and would you know anything of the world outside of you?
YOUR OWN neurology is HOW you know the outside world. Here’s where it gets really interesting. Your five senses are bombarded with millions of bits of information every second. But your conscious mind can only handle a little bit of that – around 5 bits of information per second. So HOW do you decide which bits to pay attention to? By what you already know! We filter that information by our values, decisions about things, and our beliefs! Everything we “know”. Remember, we have lost all but the tiniest percent of what is happening outside of us.
Put in straight forwards terms – we can only perceive what we have already decided to project (create) – “perception is projection”. We literally create our lives based on what we already “know”. This is not just your “front end” conscious knowledge, it is also unconscious, AND it is what drives your everyday decisions. In other words, you respond to everything you perceive from a set of already laid out rules, values, ideas and beliefs about things. You can’t help it, everybody does it. that is what makes us “human”. (You CAN transcend this human-ness, though……)
Not only that, but you notice only that which aligns to these unconscious drivers! Your “reality”, then, becomes a reality of your own making! (in fact, “reality” is in reality, just YOU!) Most people are unaware of how this is working in them each day! Whatever you have in life right now, is as a result of these drivers. It has nothing to do with your parents, your upbringing, your genetics or any other excuse you want to use. Certainly all of those things helped to lay down your beliefs, however, YOU are re-creating them moment by moment based on YOUR OWN THINKING!
Dr Masaaki Hatsumi Sensei, the Grandmaster of the Bujinkan Ninjutsu, says that he is grateful he doesn’t have to know anymore! He is able to move freely with the universe and still have/achieve everything he needs to without using his own thinking. Everything he needs just comes to him and gets done for him.
When we decide, we are deciding from a very limited place – just what we know – that is ridiculously smaller than universal power, or natural power. Yet people go around making decisions all the time – they decide this or that, based on their own limited thinking, wondering why things don’t go as they had planned, and why they don’t have everything they ever dreamed of! They are unaware there is a greater power they can utilise that will  work for them without their own thinking!
The dojo is one space where you can practice not doing your own thing. You need to train with us here at the Bujinkan Ninjutsu Gold Coast Dojo, or Bujinkan Ninjutsu Adelaide Dojo, or Bujinkan Ninjutsu Melbourne Dojo to be able to hear this teaching and be able to practice it. We “drop out” from doing anything ourselves, and use the uke’s (the person attacking) movement to gently steer them so we are safe and they are safe. If “I” do anything, the uke understands it and can counter it. This is just one small example!
Meditation helps many people connect with an expanded level of thinking. Beware though – if you just think about your new expanded thinking you are actually just doing your own thinking again! To practice you need to be free enough to experiment with your life. Nothing will change unless you do, and you cannot know the way to change unless you experiment! If you KNOW what you should do, then you had better duck, because, as the Grandmaster just said, it is very dangerous for you to use your own thinking!
In combination with this universal and ancient wisdom from Ninjutsu, I pair NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) tools to help loosen the bonds of your unconscious way of perceiving your world. It can be difficult to just think about all these great ideas and to let them make a change in you, sometimes you need some kind of tool that will open up options, possibilities and new wiring!
Again, you cannot talk, think or plan your way out of where you are! YOU have to change, not because you force a change for a while, like trying to install a new habit – most people fail at this because forcing will power is just you going against our own nature – it rarely works for anyone! – you need to change your nature. This can be done with physical training, or using tools like NLP that make physical changes to your neurology.

How to Overcome Extreme Fear of Doctors?
People can develop unnecessary fears subconsciously. Some are afraid of heights while others are afraid of being in a lift. Similarly, some are traumatized by the idea of staying in a dark room while others have the fear of losing their loved ones. The phobias are as unique as the people that walk on this earth. The fear of visiting a doctor can even have life-threatening consequences. People suffering from the phobia of doctors would avoid regular checkups. They would start making excuses in order to avoid visiting hospitals and clinics. They would not agree upon conducting tests and examination, as they fear doctors would perform a surgery. This misconception may lead to severe results. The patients suffering from illnesses would avoid visiting the doctors until it is too late. In some cases, the friends and family members of the patients can forcefully take them to the doctors only to find that it’s too late.
• It can be passed on to the next generations

The fear of doctors not only affects the patient who suffers from the illness but also impacts people around him/her. This kind of phobia can be passed down to the next generation. All children follow their parents no matter what they do. They start developing a distrust and fear in visiting a doctor when they see their parents refraining from the physicians and medical experts. Even if a parent never confesses in front of the children, these habits can be easily picked up by their offspring.
• Break the Phobia
There is a responsibility that every individual has towards his/her family members and also the society. Moreover, every human being has a tremendous responsibility towards one's own self. This phobia offers only a temporary solution. This is like living in an illusion that if you do not visit a doctor, you would never have any disease, which is totally untrue. The best way to fight with the phobia is to break free from it.
