4 Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I greatly enjoyed this book and it made me want to jump back into gaming again, it fast-paced with a great cast of characters that made me laugh particularly loved Charlotte and the rest of the Hype Team. I definitely related to Lucy's spiralling and loved her aesthetic. I truly wished The Veil was a real game now to play because I got that invested into that particular bit of the book!

I would definitely say though it isn’t particularly a slow burn but the characters are definitely long distance and don’t actually see each other in real life till near the end of the book.

This is a fast read if you want something fun, romantic and funny with an adorable in game demon pet. The main couple were adorable from the get go to with them having this quiet love o adored and clearly the fans within the group definitely did to. The found family was definitely a highlight of the book that I feel deserves so much attention!

Overall I enjoyed this book and would recommend it!
