And THEN we got some good trio pictures! :D I made sure to take a variety of picture sizes and orientations to go with their various poses. I definitely love some of the goofier ones you can do -- I just wish the third person wasn't standing off to the side like that so much! Bunch in a little closer there, please!

-->With the photos taken, and the main goal fulfilled, all that was left to do was to fulfill Talk Like A Pirate Day by chatting to their friends! Rory and Clement were both jamming by the phonograph, so the trio joined them, Smiler showing off their sweet moves while Alice talked with Rory and Victor with Clement. Weirdly enough, while Smiler had managed to fulfill the "talk like a pirate" traditions at the dinner table, and Victor managed to fulfill them with a bit of hand-holding with Alice (not sure WHY that counts, but okay game), Alice just could not complete that golden check no matter what she did. The party eventually wound down before she could do so, and she dragged herself off to bed as the guests left and Victor and Smiler took some time to squeal over how adorable the kittens were --

And as it turns out, going to sleep is what finally fulfilled the tradition for her. Because both the "sleep" and "nap" options were written in pirate-speak and thus counted. Okay, game. XD

-->However, fulfilling Talk Like A Pirate Day was definitely not my main goal today -- throwing a gold-level family reunion was! And with my love of taking pictures in the game, I easily succeeded in that goal. So, as the guests headed out, I claimed my prize --

New picture frame collages! :D Yes, if you have a good family reunion, you unlock some new collage frames that you can use for all your various photos! And you guys know that I need my collage frames, given how many freaking photos are hanging around the Valicer farmhouse. XD I already knew I wanted to use the "one large, three little, all landscape" collage for some of the wedding shots -- specifically the three of them standing together looking super romantic and the three selfie shots -- and I decided that the other two could be used for the actual family reunion snaps! The stacked trio for the various selfies they'd taken with their friends, and the group of four for my favorite shots from their porch photo shoot. Plus one bonus medium-sized picture just because. XD You guys all know I can't resist a good Van Liddelton shot!

-->And so the day ended with me rearranging all their pictures and photographs to find wall space for the new frames; Smiler deactivating the bots in the greenhouse and making sure the chickens were well-fed before putting some hatchable eggs in the coop to incubate; and Victor playing with Surprise before kicking some creepy hands apart in the barn. *nods* A good Saturday for the OT3! But next week, it's time to start working on the store again, as I am SO CLOSE to getting all those damn shelves filled...

the story started when I wanted to take a nice screenshot of my sim reading...

this mod changes the covers of the sims 4 books. I retextured almost all the covers, except for university textbooks, homework books and a couple of books that the sims did not allow me to change. texture size of covers is 256x256, and you should know that all text is in simlish, even if it is impossible to see 😀

all the covers were made based on incredibly beautiful pictures that I found on pinterest. If you want to find the author of specific arts, write to me! I'll try to find a link for you. so all credits to the amazing artists!! 💞

I also replaced the texture of the book pages with the texture of the magazine pages, because in my opinion it looks better.

I tried very hard to replace all the thumbnales, but unfortunately, I did not find such an opportunity. because of that the thumbnales remained the same for many of the base game's fiction books.

download only files with extensions that you have! I really hope you like the new textures, and this will make it more enjoyable to give your sim the task of reading a book💓

The Sims 3 Project renaissance (RELEASE)

Hello everyone. First of all, I want to apologize for my long absence and for not releasing the "Project renaissance" mod last summer. Unfortunately, there were reasons for this. Due to difficult life circumstances, I had to stop developing the mod for a while. But let's not talk about sad things.

Finally, I am ready to present you the mod "Project renaissance", which I have been working on for a long time.

I replaced the textures of 17 trees and 31 plants from The Sims 3 base game. The game was released 15 years ago, and today it looks pretty outdated in terms of graphics. Despite this, the game still has a huge fan base, which creates amazing mods and game materials, thereby making our game even more attractive and interesting.

Thanks to the "Project renaissance" mod, you can add a little realism to your game, the vegetation will look much more realistic.

I made two versions of the mod: small textures and large textures.

The first version is suitable for a comfortable gameplay, the second is more suitable for creating beautiful screenshots and videos, as it loads the system well enough. Gradually, I will refine my mod, I plan to add new vegetation textures for additions, as well as replace the textures of the landscape and roads.

I just came from the sims 4 manor post and now I need a neglected reader fic where the only reason she hasn’t crashed out is she takes it out on the Batfam sims repeatedly. Like something sets her off and now she’s in the sims burning down the manor and her sim is outside eating ice cream. For once this isn’t a yandere Batfam. This is a Batfam where someone happens across her coping mechanism and out of fear decides to be a little nicer.

(I personally always choose Duke as my go to because as the newest adopted Wayne sibling he still has a chance)

But once they get to know her and they start playing the sims they realize as crazy as it sounds torturing the sims is a nice outlet for frustrations.

So now you got beef with a sibling? Go put them in a pool and build walls around their sim. Minor annoyance? Well guess what your sim pissed themselves in front of their crush. The siblings all slowly adopt this method and arguments drop to 10% (They still have petty arguments and get mad when they know the other sibling is gonna do something to their version of their sim). And they all learned from a single sibling but still don’t realize they got it from Neglected sibling.

Bruce is confused cause an argument between him and Jason almost broke out. But Jason took a breath, said whatever and walked away (He’s gotta go spend hours making an exact replica of Bruce in Create a Sim. Just so he can make sim Bruce exercise to death).

So Bruce is investigating why his children aren’t fighting each other. And when he discovers what is going on, he’s wondering how this started. And Bruce’s investigating peaks the other kids interest and they all know they got it from (insert sibling). But where is (insert sibling).

Meanwhile (insert sibling) is with Neglected sibling both ranting about prices of the new packs sims is releasing. And yeah they’re rich, yeah they have tech that can run sims and mods at the highest settings. But it’s the principle. Both are plotting how to get Wayne Industries to acquire EA to stop releasing broken packs that are just cash grabs, whilst also discussing random drama going on in their sims worlds

Your attire for this evening, a conglomeration of things you feel comfortable in and things that show of your aesthetic. The most noticeable part of you though with the cheeky grin on your lips as you practically cackle over the fun you’re about to have filming your livestream.

"Sooooo, I've spent the last few days painstakingly recreating my family and my biological father's house in the Sims for us to have a lil’ bit of fun with. Murder, mayhem, or babies. Whatever may suit our fancy this evening.” Already the chaos you could create in your own little word with the family that ignored you filled you with giddiness. You really shouldn’t be left to your own devices.

“Now, y’all might not know, or believe me, but my sperm doanner happens to be the illustrious Bruce Wayne.” You announce only to watch the chat fill with chatter that makes you laugh and cringe.

“And— Chat, stop thirsting over him. Y’all, stop! Oh, my god! He’s not a DILF! He’s an ass! Stop talking about wanting to ride his dick, please. My Momma did that and wouldn’t recommend, it, I’d bet.” You can’t help the laughter that bubbles out of you from the sheer ridiculousness of people.

Tears in the corner of your eyes as you struggle to breathe as one person says it would be an honor to ride the same dick your mother rode and another saying that they would peg him for your mental health.

“My Momma up in heaven fightin’ for her life tryin’ save me a seat cause of y’all…” You wheeze out before continuing.

“Anyway, yeah, I made my entire family, including myself. Plus, I went in and gave everyone their skills already and made their rooms. Which felt kinda creepy, but I also live with Tim and that guys way fucking weirder then me.” You comment, getting the game loaded while you play with one of the knickknacks on your desk and watch the chat.

Some people clearly don’t believe you’re a Wayne, which is fine. The media wasn’t really allowed to talk about you, which was less due to Bruce’s influence and more to the blanket protection he had for Damian. Which was also fine. You’d given up caring and just started coping.

In some strange ways, though.

‘Does this mean you built your fancy house????’

“Yes. Or, least I tried. Secret wine cellar included. Bruce spends a lotta time in there. Man likes his liquor.” Inwardly you cackle. The wine cellar was just to cover for where the Batcave was, but you couldn’t resist painting good ol’ Brucie Wayne as a man who liked fancy wine.

‘Will it be available for download?’

“Yes, everything will be available for download on my Patron later. In case y’all wanna cause mayhem y’allselves or if y’all wanna get freaky-deaky with my own sim. I know I got some freaks in this chat.” You make sure to lean forward and give the screen a look that screams you know exactly what their up to as you watch the Chat get soaked with raised hand emojis and a few suggestive comments that make your cheeks heat up.

As you shake the flush in your face away, the game if fully loaded. Your computer sounding like it’s about to take flight with how hard it’s running. But, it’s literally built to handle crime solving, so it can handle some mods.

“Okay. Okay. That’s enough. Let’s get this party started.” You say as you pull up your Sim family.

‘Did you seriously add your dead sibling?!’

“Oh, Jason’s not dead. He just rebelled against the system and didn’t wanna go to college. But, don’t let that fool you, man’s a nerd.”

‘A nerd I’d let fold me into a pretzel and season me with some baby batter.’

“Horny jail!” You make sure to hit your custom buzzer. Already sensing you’re going to be getting a lot of use out of it tonight.

“Alright, let us begin.” Comes your own little cackle as your rub your hands together like a fly. Cause you’re about to start some shit.

Little did you know across the house, playing live in some of the rooms on either phones, laptops, computers, or tablets, was the very people you were playing with. Either pissed or losing their shit laughing along with you.

The shenanigans seemed to go on for hours, and in the back of your mind you had a few thoughts.

This was probably the most fun you’d ever had with your family since moving into the Manor and it wasn’t even really them. Second, you would probably get in trouble with the Wayne family PR team, but it was going to be worth it.

As you logged off for the night, saying your closing remarks as you stretch and grinning to yourself, you are thoroughly satisfied with yourself. Enjoying the comments and donations from your followers before you curl into bed.

[WIP] TS3 UI "Krystal"

I figured it would be cool to finally publicly share what I've been working on behind the scenes, as well as some mockups!

A few of you on Patreon or Discord may have already seen sneak peeks/given feedback. I kept things quiet because I wasn’t sure I’d even do it in the first place as a next modding project, and I didn’t want to let anyone down.

Luckily, @lazyduchess’s Monopatcher made the job ten times easier. The biggest hurdle was that I would've had to make a core mod to override UI code (I’m normally anti–core mod), but the patcher solved that and let me push ahead.

Creating the Mockups

Fun fact: I actually have a degree in UI/UX design! (for websites) While principles like “How wide should this padding be?” or “Which colors send the right signal to the user?”—game UI is a whole different beast.😬

Main Menu

I started with the main menu:

Cut the SimPoints clutter and the “Buy TS4!” banner—after a decade, we get it exists 😉.

Grouped items into clean blocks

Added a text-free “Create New Family” icon

Swapped lot thumbnails for family shots (still baffled by EA’s original choice).

Dropped an options gear in the bottom-left; might label it if it’s too subtle.

Different backgrounds: one solid blue, one closer to the classic gradient.

Not much has changed here! It's just less... busy I suppose, lol!

Moved the Game Tips to the bottom, so the main focus stays on that loading bar 😉

I also have a third option but I'm strongly leaning towards just having the loading bar as it's the most clear!

Live Mode

The hardest of them all lol. Kudos to EA for figuring that one all out! I really struggled with this one in regards to shape and what to even move around/remove!

I figured, it should be nice to pull really into that glassmorphism I've been using over the Mockups! Now I do realise that it can hamper user experience in the sense of not being able to read anything. But these are pictures! So that should be all fine and dandy.

The active item in the queue will now be more "visible". The queued item however, you'll see look a bit more "unactive" compared to what the current version has.

I also completely overhauled the thumbnails for your sims, showing their moods a bit better, and giving the active sim a tiny plumbob! :D

And now the real deal: The control panel! You might notice it's not the whole thing, but I'm still working on that part.

I removed the camera controls from the panel. However, upon feedback, I did hear that it's better to have them as some people are limited in their hand movements on their keyboard and that those controls are really useful. So I will make sure to share 2 versions :)

I also realised I completely forgot the Build/buy mode buttons 😬 So, err, stay tuned for that? lol.

Notifications I really just tidied up :p

I am aware that the space where the text is and the thumbnail is huge, and normally I'd wrap the surrounding text, but apparently in TS3's UI stuff that's practically impossible. Hence that they got this "2 column" effect to them 😉

About releasing the UI:

I'm hoping to release them all in bits and pieces! So first up is the Main Menu (and possibly the Loading screen given it's simplicity).

After that, I hope in my second "update" to release a big portion of Live mode, but that's a bigger task on it's own of course 😉

Modern Surfaces Custom Content Set

Hi everyone! Here's my second release of the year, the Modern Surfaces Set!

This set introduces a variety of new tables and counters to enhance your modern spaces. You'll find a selection of dining tables, along with coffee tables and accent tables to complete the look. It also includes a full counter, island counter, and cabinet set. While this set is on the smaller side, it pairs nicely with my previous packs!

Myshuno Fixes

Now that we have a bingo default that makes its appearance more usable, I thought it would be nice to have the game function properly too 🙃

The main issue with the unmodded version of this object is: 1) it fills your sim's whole fun bar within an in-game hour 2) sims quit the game after reaching max fun

This basically means that full games never occur. Sims appear indecisive about using the object too as they still might join playing when their fun bar is close to max, only to quit almost instantly.

This mod fixes these problems and improves various other aspects of the Myshuno game:

Players don't need to sit facing the bingo console anymore*

The fun gain from playing the game is greatly lower, elders still gain more fun from playing but the increase is moderate

Sims will only quit mid-game for a pressing reason (usually due to other motives dropping or the interaction being canceled)

Players sitting in dining booths no longer cause errors

Players sitting on dining chairs next to tables no longer stop the game from progressing

The advertising of all interactions is lower

The 'practice' interaction is not autonomous anymore

The caller winning anim is revamped so that it doesn't clip with dresses and works better with PF's default

*Sims use a new custom routing for finding a place to play. Playing is possible from chairs, barstools, armchairs, sofas, and dining booths located in the same room as the bingo console and within 10 tiles from it. Sims will choose a free seat close to the console unless their personality is on the shyer end, in which case they look for free seats far away from the console. Sims will stand if no seating is available.

The file is compressed. Free Time is required as the object gives gaming enthusiasm.

🚨 This mod doesn't work with Myshuno replacements that include custom BHAVs for it. PF's default (obviously) is compatible.

Update (22.12.2024): The tweaks in advertising now apply to non-adult age groups as well.

Speaking of which, Victor was feeling very romantic and very suave after all that, so he had to plant a romantic hand kiss on Alice to remind her that loves her very much as well. :) <3 I do love this little trio, and I'm looking forward to showing off the wedding episode!

First, though, we have to finish off SimCity Founding with the final tradition on the list -- fireworks! And handily enough, they have a whole box of them at home. I transferred a trio of mortar shots and sparkler fountains into Smiler's inventory and had them set them out, and then began setting them off so the gang could watch the pretty explosions. :p Results?

-->Firework One -- Smiler lit this one, and it went off without a hitch! Everyone admired the bright green spray of color, with the follow-up blast of blue in the night sky. :)

-->Firework Two -- I decided to have Victor light this one. . .but, unfortunately, I decided to get clever. Namely, I thought, "You know, Victor has Inferniate -- maybe he can use that to set the firework off for a bit of magical experience?"

NOPE. INFERNIATE JUST SETS THE FIREWORK ON FIRE WITHOUT SETTING IT OFF. Fortunately Victor and Smiler were immediately on the case with Chillio and an extinguisher, and the blaze was out before Alice could even have time to panic. *facepalm* Welp, that one's on me. Sorry, Victor, I could have sworn that would work. . .

-->Firework Three -- Okay, so, magic is definitely out for lighting these things -- how about I have Victor light this final spark fountain the old-fashioned way? So, after everyone changed into some cold-weather clothing (as it was actually rather chilly in Henford-On-Bagley), Victor put match to fuse --

Cue the firework -- SORT OF exploding. I mean, there was a brief fireball, and Victor AND Smiler both got pretty well scorched by it, but the actual firework itself still went off as advertised, and everyone was able to watch the spark fountain and fulfill the Fireworks tradition. So, uh -- half marks?

Anyway -- after that, I think everybody was pretty well set to end the holiday. XD Victor hit everyone with a Scruberoo -- yes, even Alice, her hygiene was in the yellow just from normal living -- and he and Alice slumped off back to the house and to bed. Smiler, of course, not needing to sleep, decided the best thing they could do was help out Elmer in the greenhouse, turning the bot off before its battery could get too low and tending the plants it hadn't gotten to. Thank you kindly, Smiler.

👉 Gameplay Effects of Weather Lot Challenges

These Lot Challenges affect the weather immediately as soon as the Lot is loaded with your Sim on it, and the effects will stay even when the Sim is off the lot until you remove the Lot Challenges. 

They are supposed to be used as cheats for storytelling, easier gameplay, taking screenshots, etc. You are recommended to remove the Lot Challenges from the Lot when you no longer need them so that it won't interfere with your normal gameplay.

Since a Sims world shares the same climate, giving multiple Weather Lot Challenges to different Lots of the same worlds and loading those Lots will cause the weather to switch rapidly.

This overrides the region tuning and weatherForcastList tuning of those worlds to make the snow fall and accumulate. Please ensure you have no conflicted mods that are editing these game tunings.
