It's late when Dongsung comes home from work. He sees you curled up on the couch as soon as he walks through the door—not fully asleep yet, but certainly not awake either. He sighs, shuffling off his shoes and shrugging off his coat. He hates seeing you like this and feeling like he can't do anything to help.

He grabs a throw blanket from one of the chairs and wraps it over you. Leaning down, he presses a kiss to your temple. It's soft, feather-light, and barely even there. You feel it anyway. Something in your chest jumps at the action. The reminder that through it all, Dongsung will still always be right beside you.

As you shift, blinking your eyes open slightly, his fingers brush your bangs away from your face. Dongsung knows he can't take away all the pain by himself, but he still hopes that his presence is enough to give you some comfort. You rest your head against his hand, naturally leaning into his touch as he cups your cheek. His hands are warm—soft, but calloused.

You grab his wrist, bringing him even closer, nuzzling against his palm. His heart softens. You're only like this around him. He's the only one who gets to see this side of you—this relaxed, unguarded, vulnerable side. It's precious to him, and he doesn't take it for granted.

You've been going through a lot lately. Friendships falling apart, family drama, work stress. He's seen how it's been getting to you. You've been clingier, slightly more short-tempered, and more emotional. Dongsung's been helping you through it, patient as ever. It breaks him to see you so stressed, especially when you're the last person who deserves it.

You try to pull him even closer, not worried about his weight on top of you or how much space was left on the couch. You're seeking his warmth and comfort like a moth seeks light. All it takes is one pleading look for him to concede. He's scooping you up in his arms, holding you like you weight nothing. Kisses litter your face. Your forehead, temples, cheeks. Your nose and lips too. There's not a single spot your boyfriend doesn't capture.

It's a gentle reassurance. A silent shout that says "I love every part of you". You've needed that assurance more than you've realized.

The mattress is soft when your back hits it. Dongsung puts you down gently. He's done it a million times, at this point it's muscle memory. His hand doesn't leave your waist, and soon he's kissing you again. You can barely kiss him back, too overwhelmed by all the emotions, too tired from the past week weighing down on you.

When he pulls away after one last lingering kiss, his eyes are doey and fond. You can feel the adoration from them. It wraps around you like a blanket, protecting you from the harsh chill. You welcome it with open arms—welcome him. Soon he's right where you want him, wrapping his arms around you, impossibly close. And for this moment in his arms, nothing can harm you.

When the early morning sun rises and shines through your window, you’re immediately woken up. At first, you want nothing more than to snuggle back into the blankets and let Seunghyub hold you like a teddy bear, but you remember that you actually have a life and chores that need attending to. 

Groaning, you roll over, or at least try to. However, there’s an arm that won’t let you move an inch. You try to struggle again, but it’s no use. 

You roll your eyes and sigh, “Seunghyub…” you turn your neck to face him. When you look at him, his eyes are still closed but there’s a sneaky smile on his lips. “I know you’re awake.”

He continues to keep his eyes closed, like he still pretending to be asleep and failing miserably at it. Even the tiny chuckle that escapes him gives his facade away. “Baby, I need to get up and start getting ready. We can’t be in bed all day,” you tell him. But he’s still holding tightly onto you. 

Finally, he opens his eyes, “Why not? Am I not allowed to stay here with my darling all day?” he asked with a pout on his lips. You shake your head, but there’s a smile on your lips. That’s when he really wakes up and pulls you in closer to him, “C’mon, just a little while longer. Please?”

His eyes are pleading and it’s making it hard to resist his temptations. Soon you found yourself leaning into him, “Fine… Just a little longer.” That’s when he cheers and gives you a bone crushing squeeze and kisses your cheek.

Hun’s arms lace around your middle pulling your back closer to his chest. Hun rests his head against your shoulder, his cheek pressing against your neck. You tilt your head enough to see his mop of faded blue hair. Hun lets out a soft sigh tightening his grip slightly more, you let out a small laugh resting your hands over his own your eyes falling shut.

“I don’t want to get up,” he sighs softly.

You hum in response shifting slightly to get more comfortable in his grip. Hun had just got back from a tour in Japan and the two of you had not seen each other since the start. He was quite busy during the tour so he hardly had time to call or even text you. Not that you minded, you know he is busy.

“Do you have anywhere to go?” You ask.

“No, we have an extended break,” he says against the shell of your ear, “I can spend as much time as I want with you,” he laughs out.

“Don’t let go of me then,” you mutter under your breath.

“I wasn’t planning on it, but I have to pee,” he says with a laugh.

You return his laugh turning to lay on your back when he releases his grip on you. He presses a soft kiss to your forehead before he pulls himself out of the bed.

he puts his maximum effort into making it and the end product isn’t only beautiful, it has you in tears

the lyrics are sweet, the melody perfect, and overall it has you addicted

that song will never leave your playlist for the rest of time

although it was supposed to just be a song for you only, you urge seunghyub to release the song officially because it’s that good

so now your husband has to stumble his way through explaining the backstory behind the song 

and how he wrote it for his 3 year wedding anniversary <3

but his fans are just as obsessed as you are

when making a present for your anniversary, hun is prepared to be extremely emotionally vulnerable and make it something you will remember

whether or not the song is the best he’s ever written, he’s more focused on pouring his heart out 

recording the entire lead vocals is not something he’s used to, but he does it all with care

enlists the help of jaehyun for the drum section, but doesn’t tell him exactly what the song is for

it will include his heartfelt vocals (of course), that actually sound really good because of the effort he put in 

the drum section will be impressive as always, and overall the song is super fun 

the vibes perfectly emulate your relationship with him, and when you first hear it, you can’t help but grin until your cheeks hurt

I have gotten a new vacation job and I work +10 hours a day, which leaves me with no time for myself and an actual schedule I live on at this moment. I feel like utter shit and idk, I don’t feel happy there. Today was a free day for me and I promised myself I’d get to writing (and checking out nflying’s jaehyun) but I actually didn’t even manage to do anything because I’ve been busy with other things. The soft hours (or whatever they’re called) that I posted in the past days, just came from my drafts as I went on a writing spree a week before my vacation job started.

So for everyone who wonders why I haven’t posted their request, here’s the reason! I’m so sorry for being inactive and not providing you good writing, I’m trying to make things work. Once all of these drabble game requests are done, I’m planning to start a new one with different prompts!!  💚🖤
