the need to fight others that dont understand how Odysseus and Penelope work is so big but i need to calm myself down because *frustation*

Like they are so ... what is the word? projecting? so hard on Odysseus changing into a "monster" that they not realize Penelope changed as well? The trauma and the 20 years that passed werent just for Odysseus, it was for Penelope too. She needed to endure for her family. Yes, she waited, but that doesnt mean she remain unchanged. If something i would say she had to become the monster WAY earlier than Odysseus did. It's her cunning that saved her and Telemachus from the suitors for so long. Hadnt she been calculating all this, would you think Ithaca would have remained in one piece? Hell, no.

Again, i understand the need to relate to the protagonist, but don't forget the weight the other characters have. Specially since Penelope is the final goal of Odysseus' journey. Comprehending the importance of Penelope is also a part of Odysseus' progress.

One of the biggest things that makes me see Leo as trans is absolutely the size of his carapace in comparison to his brothers’.

And I’m not talking about height! I’m specifically looking at his shell here, because when you compare him to the others, particularly Donnie who is nearly the same height as Leo, it’s very clear that Leo’s carapace is much longer in proportion to the rest of his body.

Like - standing side by side, even though Donnie is shorter his carapace ends noticeably higher up than Leo’s does. And I like this not only because it really helps push the idea that Leo could very likely be trans (or intersex!), but it’s also just a fun design difference between them.

(It also lends way to future scenarios of Donnie eventually getting taller than Leo, but sitting down still has Leo being the taller one haha.)

Going to college as a nontraditional student with an office job is kinda funny bc now when a professor messes things up in a way that fucks me over instead of being like "omg this authority figure is so unfair 😭" I'm approaching it more with the vibe of like "if Karen from Accounting doesn't fix this mistake that's hindering my work after my third passive aggressive email I'm going to CC her boss"

#my professor has multiple things messed up on her online course that are actively preventing me from preparing for the midterm exam #1. the notes she uploaded for last weeks lesson are in an unviewable format (its a .bin file? she converted an image to binary code??)#2. she hasnt uploaded the content for this weeks lesson yet. and that content is going to be tested on the midterm #3. both her syllabus and the review guide she uploaded mention a pre-midterm test thats worth 2% of our grade #and i think is supposed to help us prepare. but she hasnt uploaded that or even mentioned it at all?#4. the exam itself isnt in blackboard yet. which wouldnt really be a cause for alarm if it was any other professor #i would just assume they were probably waiting to upload it until the day of the exam #but given everything else shes messed up so far im worried she messed something up with that too and it wont get uploaded at all #so. she said in the syllabus that we should message her directly in blackboard with any questions and she'll respond within 48 hours #but my first message was sent on friday. it is now tuesday #she said to send a follow up if she doesnt respond within 48 hours. i sent a follow up yesterday morning and she still hasnt responded #and im not going to wait another 48 hours when the exam is in 3 days and she still hasnt even uploaded the final lesson that will be on it #so. shes getting a text from me at the phone number she listed now like #if she doesnt respond to that within a few hours then i might call #and if she doesnt respond to THAT then im going to put it in an email and CC the head of her department or smth #bc we NEED to be able to prepare for the midterm. its THIS WEEK. some people are actually scheduled only TWO days from now #its already bullshit that shes including this lesson on the midterm when the due date for it is AFTER the exam #but then shes also THREE DAYS LATE (so far) uploading it??#AND she hasnt uploaded the pre-test or even mentioned it at all???#rambling #this professor is gonna get a BAD review from me man #its already bad enough that her online course is structured so poorly that its hard to even tell what we should be doing each week #and now this shit

Baby Nine AU: Has Tails ever been a little brat to Nine unintentionally while playing with him? Did he get his lesson, comeuppance, or punishment for it.

For example, Tails discovers that Nine can be scuffed and picks him up that way over and over while giggling due to him curling up or going limp. Sonic sees this and picks Tails up by his scruff after first giving him an ignored warning not to do it. So, Tails is curled up or limp in air jail for some time due to still having his own scruff reflex and Nine is laughing at him while playing.

Hmm, no. At least definitely Tails would never do such a thing, intentionally or unintentionally, since he's like one of the people to know how much distress unwanted physical contact would bring to the poor little guy. And I also don't thinks Nine would really be up to "playing" and openly giggling in like the innocent baby sense. Ik is said "baby" Nine but I actually meant like, a four year old baby. Like just a little guy, Classic Tails age. Little-er than he was in the show, but not as little that it would get him classified medically as a literal baby. I need him to already comprehend and have some of his trauma for later story purposes :)

But if someone were to roughhouse or obviously bring little Nine to distress with no signs of stopping – let's say... Renegade – who's not actually trying to be deliberately malicious or anything, but also doesn't necessarily understand Nine's trauma (cuz why would anyone tell him abt it) and just can't help it because the fox is literally just so so tiny and so so adorable with his little angry face.

Either way doesn't excuse him and he's definitely in for a stern talking-to from a certain other fox and a hedgehog pretty soon...
