Noel ends friendship with Russell Brand

O The Sun divulgou que Noel rompeu a amizade de décadas com o comediante Russell Brand após ele sofrer várias acusações de estupro feita por diversas mulheres, que teriam acontecido de 1999 a 2005!

A notícia frisa que foi a Anaïs que convenceu Noel a encerrar a amizade para preservar sua imagem pública! Noel e Russell começaram a amizade em 2005 e ambos já foram padrinhos de casamento um do outro (Russell com Katy Perry em 2010 e Noel com Sara em 2011), e ambos os casamentos terminaram em divórcio.

Já tinha tempo que eu não via alguma aparição pública dos dois juntos desde 2019/2020 pelo menos. E Noel parece ter ficado mais próximo de Matt Morgan nesse tempo (que também já havia se afastado de Russell). Então é possível supor que eles já estavam afastados há anos, mas só agora Noel resolveu tornar isso oficial e público, possivelmente pra se resguardar de qualquer polêmica que possa o envolver antes da turnê do Oasis.

Só achei meio incômodo a notícia frisar que precisou da Anaïs alertar Noel sobre sua imagem pública para acabar com a amizade, como se as acusações de várias mulheres de crimes cometidos por Russell não fossem suficientes para Noel parar de falar com ele! Acho que era um detalhe que não precisava ser dito (também achei bem oportunista a matéria dizer que a Anaïs tem "muita experiência em relações públicas", como se ela dizer o óbvio pro pai fosse um grande ato publicitário! Ao menos parece que sabemos quem vazou essa história pro The Sun!).

Hamilton & Oasis new fankids are no fans

curious to notice both of them know almost nothing even about basic facts of F1 and Oasis, they are just being plagiarised by "woke" propaganda. They are the most ridiculous, death menaces, racist comments (as that "Oasis" transsexual one), making nationalities a race, Verstappen "dumb Dutch" etc and they're supposed to be the "antiracist" pacifist ones. Mentioning Verstappen when there's nothing about him, they're obsessed. Basically they're no fans, they follow because these celebrities are media darlings, so they use them for their sickness. Sore losers, it's so uncool. Racist victimhood again... he thinks to be the sport but should get out of the sport, it's not about that. And here he was talking about clothes, it's not about that. Ferrari is just showbusiness, to sell merchandise

Noel Fielding's Fashion Hits And misses

Miss. Despite his unassuming debut on last night's GBBO, Noel Fielding is not the shy and retiring type. Case in point, here he is wearing a tipi with what appears to be his face on it. Modesty is a virtue after all.

Miss. He looks like he's going to Halloween as Nicolas Cage in Wild at Heart - and that film was meant to be a pastiche. Snake skin does not belong on any man.

Hit. This is a look only a rock-star could pull off – but then, Fielding has always been a sort of rock-star comedian, whether it's through his amusing ditties on The Mighty Boosh or his collaborations with last year's Glastonbury headliners, Kasabian. His frayed coat is nicely paired with the sleek all white shoes.

Hit. Band shirts should not be worn outside the safe confines of a festival field, but this Rolling Stones shirt has a different Andy Warhol feel. But please Noel for the love of God, roll down your sleeves.

Hit. Alright, the bag's not a hit. What was he got in there? A hippogriff? Anyway, the leather jacket and cheeky head tilt gets a thumbs up from us.

Miss. Super skinny jeans went out of fashion in 2006. Renowned for their unforgiving nature, even the tiniest amount of podge is highlighted by their ball-busting tightness. Men over 40: be warned.

Miss. We're inclined to say this is a little too safe for Mr. Fielding. It's a bit too much 'student comedian upstart' and not enough 'goth comedy overlord'.

Miss. Noel looks like the Teletubbies' arch nemisis here. Uh-oh.

Miss. Here Noel looks like a cross between Liam Gallagher and a yeti, alongside another funny man whose fashion sense faded along with the indie rock of the 2000s. Note to Russell: the only men who still wear deep v-necks are those on Love Island.

Hit. Yes, it looks like it was picked up in a thrift shop in hipsterville, but we like it. We'd probably have it as a feature wallpaper in our house.
