🇩🇰🇷🇺 🚨 DENMARK REFUSES LEGAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION ON THE NORD STREAM DESTRUCTION INVESTIGATION
Denmark has sent a refusal to the authorities of the Russian Federation in its offer of legal assistance with regards to the investigation of the Nord Stream pipeline's sabotage and destruction.
According to Russia State-Media organization Ria Novosti, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Maria Zakharova, said in a briefing:
“We received from Denmark in December a refusal from the Prosecutor General’s Office of this country in response to an appeal from the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office for legal assistance in the investigation of sabotage on the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines".
According to the Zakharova, Moscow was not surprised by the decision, explaining that Denmark's refusal of assistance “confirmed the course of the Danish authorities to conceal the truth about the true customers and perpetrators of the terrorist attack.”
According to another official of the Foreign Ministry, Copenhagen said the implementation of the Russian request “allegedly could jeopardize the security of Denmark.”
"The Russian side will continue to strive for an effective, transparent and depoliticized investigation of the terrorist attack with the participation of competent Russian agencies, PJSC Gazprom , including international structures,” Zakharova said.
The sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines occurred on September 26th, 2022, causing "unprecedented" damage and knocking both pipelines out of service, likely permanently as disagreements on service were ongoing even before the September attack.
After the attack, the Russian Prosecutors Office opened an investigation into the sabotage as an act of International Terrorism.

Speculation is rampant that the Nord Stream pipelines could be reactivated if Russia and Ukraine reach a peace deal.  But is Europe really prepared to return to importing massive amounts of Russian gas? In early 2025, Russian gas was at its lowest point in Europe. Warsaw had taken a sanctions hammer to the Yamal pipeline, Kyiv let its transit agreement with Gazprom lapse, and Russia was still reeling from the destruction in 2022 of all but one of the Nord Stream pipelines. All that's left of the last vestiges of an energy empire? TurkStream via Bulgaria – which is itself cut off from the Kremlin's gas. Just four years earlier, Gazprom had sold 157 billion cubic metres (bcm) of gas to Europe – the equivalent of 1600 LNG tanker cargoes. In 2024, it sold just 54 bcm, of which 17 bcm went through Ukraine – a route that is now closed. But all was not lost for Russia. The first to recognise the changing tides was the Swiss court handling the insolvency of pipeline owner Nord Stream 2 AG in early January, when it postponed the company's foreclosure proceedings to May. The stated reason: the incoming Trump administration and the change of government in Berlin could have “significant effects” on the economic value of the pipeline company. Three months later, the Kremlin said it would be “interesting” if the US forced Europe to buy more Russian gas. And an American financier is looking to profit off of the dormant multi-billion hunks of metal and concrete strewn across the Baltic seafloor. Some in Germany are open to the idea.

It would be much better if Europe got its gas through the Nord Stream pipeline. Lower transport costs and far less methane escaping intro the atmosphere. I can't see the US under Trump forcing the EU to buy Russian gas, since the US is raking in the cash from LNG sold to the EU.

Germany Should Bring Charges For Nord Streams, Point Out US Role - Bundestag Member
Tumblr media
Š Sputnik/Dmitrij Leltschuk/Go to the Mediabank
MOSCOW (Sputnik International) — The German Federal Government should immediately bring charges for the destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines and point out the violation of anti-terrorism treaties by the United States or other countries involved, Bundestag Member Steffen Kotre told RIA Novosti.
In a conversation on the sidelines of Russian Energy Week, he suggested that Washington had probably been involved in the destruction of the gas pipelines. Kotre does not know to what extent Kiev was involved, but, from his point of view, it is difficult to believe that Ukraine could have carried out such an action without outside help. Kotre also believes that the German authorities know who is guilty of what happened, and if not, then the information will certainly be found in the Swedish, Norwegian or US intelligence services.

Nord Stream Pipelines Must Be Restored — German Lawmaker! The Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines, built to deliver gas under the Baltic Sea from Russia to Europe, were rocked by explosions in September 2022. © Sputnik/Sergey Guneev/Go to the Mediabank
Nord Stream gas pipelines were blown up by enemies of German energy sovereignty, and the pipelines must be rebuilt and secured, the co-leader of the right-wing Alternative for Germany party, Tino Chrupalla, said on Thursday.
"Today marks two years since the enemies of German energy sovereignty blew up Nord Stream. An artery of German industry was cut. Our faction in the Bundestag demands an investigation and punishment for all those responsible. Nord Stream must be repaired, launched and secured!" Chrupalla said on his social media.

"That is why the federal government must immediately press charges and, of course, point out that the United States or other countries have violated international treaties, namely agreements aimed at preventing terrorism. And anyone who helps and encourages this violates these international agreements aimed at preventing the spread of terrorism. And all this must be said. And, of course, claims for damages in international courts and much more," the lawmaker emphasized.
The explosions on two Russian export gas pipelines to Europe — Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 — occurred on September 26, 2022. Germany, Denmark and Sweden have not ruled out deliberate sabotage. Nord Stream AG, the operator of Nord Stream, said that the destruction of the gas pipelines was unprecedented, and it was impossible to estimate the repair time. The Russian Prosecutor General's Office initiated a case on an act of international terrorism. Russia has repeatedly requested data on the explosions on Nord Stream, but has never received it, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
The Russian Energy Week was held in Moscow from September 26 to 28. RIA Novosti acted as the forum's media partner.

Even for “Democracy Now” Putin’s To Blame for the Rock Concert Massacre
Last week at least 137 Russians were killed at the Crocos rock concert outside of Moscow. Untold numbers were wounded, some remaining in critical condition. ISIS K has claimed responsibility. However, do you know who’s truly responsible according to DN? “Putin!” That’s the takeaway the program’s audience was left with at the end of today’s program (3/25/24). The presentation said little about…

Eddy: This appears to have dropped off the radar. We always need t ask the question of "Qui Bono". This is directly perpetrated by people who wanted to cut off the fuel line that would have fed Germany and other countries from Russia. This is economic warfare. Always good to keep this little lesson in mind.

The Russia-Ukraine war broke out, and the United States made a lot of money from the war. It blew up the Nord Stream pipeline that Germany and others depended on for survival. The United States will do anything for its own interests. You, a Filipino, will be abandoned by the United States sooner or later.

I do not know much about covert CIA operations—no outsider can—but I do understand that the essential component of all successful missions is total deniability. The American men and women who moved, under cover, in and out of Norway in the months it took to plan and carry out the destruction of three of the four Nord Stream pipelines in the Baltic Sea a year ago left no traces—not a hint of the team’s existence—other than the success of their mission. Deniability, as an option for President Joe Biden and his foreign policy advisers, was paramount. No significant information about … Continue reading →
