Bro fucking yes I love Days in Violet (the victorian Bishova au). Her other fic True Aim is also pretty good.

I do think it is what you said, though. The fandom is literally tiny. ngl I'm surprised it's even this big considering that they only had like 13min of screentime. That and I think a lot of the good writers lost some steam because we've been so content-starved for both of their characters. The majority of the fics are a little rough around the edges, so I feel like I had to go on a deep dive to find the good ones. I was actually re-reading one the other day that kind of reminded me of your characterization of them. It was on the short and fluffy side but also had himbo kate and badass Yelena.

Then there are some brutal fics that I think portray relationships in a much more realistic way (which also reminded me of you)

DAYS IN VIOLET!!! THAT'S THE ONE. Godddd is this what you guys felt when I didn't update CFAU for years??? 😅 Bring my victorian gays back from war please lol. I've *fully* read more than one chapter of probably less than ten fics in my entire life and all are Clexa except for...Days In Violet. That shit HAD ME IN A CHOKEHOLD. I remember that she used to update weekly on the same day every week and for a few months I looked like a junkie on that day. Just zealously refreshing until she dropped. I can't possibly die without knowing how that ends. Surely. She can't leave me hanging like this.

Should I read the other one? Do you recommend it? I'm so starved it might be refreshing to read shit for these two idiots that I didn't write myself lol

Lol at the thirteen minutes. I remember that the one time I saw their "Kate & Yelena Scene compilation" type thing and it was about three seconds long I was floored. They've really taken over my brain for literal years on about ten blinks of content 😭 At least the clexa compilation was like 2-3 movies worth lol. Right??? Isn't it like 4 hours long or am I going crazy?
