#lads i do love the animatics i do#at the same time i can imagine Odysseus watching Poseidon's face#not unlike the Honda hatefuck#Odysseus watching Poseidon cringe and wince in pain#suddenly all that immortality becomes a bad thing#Odysseus the yapper of Ithaca just says “Exactly” when Poseidon mentions this#proceeds to pick up the trident#come on Poseidon. as Odysseus approaches. realize what's going to happen Poseidon#realize what'll keep happening forever unless you do as he says and call off the storm#Odysseus watches Poseidon's face as he stabs him#for his men. for all the delays back home. for the wife and son hours away from him#no amount of Poseidon being a god could stop Odysseus going back home#it's their ruthlessness against each other#and Poseidon's ichor defaulted his loss#epic the vengeance saga#epic the musical#epic odysseus#epic poseidon#this depiction is much more interesting that it had been at the Iliad imo
