imagining the raph and leo arguing period before the movie but it’s so bad that when they’re not arguing they’re still so pissed and off doing their own things they just kinda forget they gotta fight crime sometimes and so donnie and mikey have to do it on their own and they actually get pretty good at it without the other two
considering how quick they are to pair together especially in the movie i could definitely see it ,,,, especially since donnie already has a built in way of tracking crime so he'd be notified of it already. id also point out how their fighting styles are very synergistic, but tbh that has ALSO been a part of the way the two of them engage in combat way before the movie, they interact a lot on the field. they're birds of a feather (HAH)
i think even if raph and leo arent getting into shouting matches, there'd still be this thread of underlying tension between the two of them that both donnie and mikey can pick up on, and it'd make them nervous to try and be around them especially for something like this where they know asking could make it worse. i could see donnie just going out on his own without thinking to tell mikey (not in an effort to protect him, just genuinely forgetting for a moment that there's someone in his corner right now), and then mikey just kind of catches him and invites himself along as he always does lmao,,, habit built from there
#ask#b team lover here ... i do like the idea of them naturally seeking out each other first afterwards like#even with things mended they've still developed something special#also has painful implications for doomed future ... mikey being devastated feeling like he's lost the only person he felt truly comfortable#-leaning on when donnie dies WHENNNNNNN#notes this down for cvd

Red meat has been under the microscope lately — blamed for inflammation, linked to cardiovascular issues, and cited in environmental concerns. But what is it really doing to our bodies, especially when it comes to heart health? Recent studies are starting to unravel how red meat interacts with the gut, possibly holding the key to its impact on cardiovascular disease (CVD). Red Meat and Heart Health: A Gut-Level Connection A 2022 study published in Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology — a journal of the American Heart Association — took a deep dive into how red meat might influence cardiovascular health in a surprising way: through the gut. Researchers analyzed data from roughly 4,000 adults who were part of the long-running Cardiovascular Health Study (CHS), which began in 1989/1990. Participants were, on average, 73 years old and did not have CVD at the start. The study tracked their health, blood biomarkers, and diets over 12.5 years. Researchers honed in on fasting blood samples to assess metabolites associated with red meat intake — including TMAO, gamma-butyrobetaine, and crotonobetaine. They then compared these findings with dietary patterns based on participants’ self-reports, distinguishing between red meat, poultry, fish, and processed meat consumption. The results? A clear link emerged: higher red meat intake correlated with increased risk for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, a condition characterized by hardened arteries. Specifically, each additional 1.1 servings of red meat per day was associated with a 22% higher risk. Interestingly, similar risks were not found in those who consumed poultry, fish, or eggs. How the Gut Processes Red Meat So what’s happening in the digestive tract? The study found elevated levels of gut-derived metabolites, especially TMAO, in red meat eaters. These compounds are produced when gut bacteria break down L-carnitine, a substance abundant in red meat. TMAO has been linked to increased inflammation and changes in blood sugar regulation — both of which are emerging as critical factors in heart disease. Co-lead author Meng Wang, Ph.D., a postdoctoral fellow at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, explained to Science Daily that while saturated fat often gets the spotlight, other components of red meat like L-carnitine and heme iron may also play major roles in long-term health — including conditions like Type 2 diabetes. What This Means for Your Diet Before swearing off red meat entirely, it’s important to note the study’s limitations. It was observational, meaning it couldn’t prove a direct cause-and-effect relationship. Also, dietary data was self-reported, leaving room for error. Still, the gut-heart link raises compelling questions. While moderation remains key, this research adds weight to dietary recommendations that encourage a variety of protein sources — not just red meat. So should red meat be avoided? Not necessarily. Like many foods, red meat isn’t inherently harmful when consumed in moderation as part of a balanced diet. But understanding how it interacts with your gut may help shape smarter choices for heart health. Read the full article

The Most Iconic Diamond Jewelry Moments in History
The Most Iconic Diamond Jewelry Moments in History
Introduction
Diamonds have long been a symbol of luxury, power, and love, making them the centerpiece of some of the most iconic moments in history. From royal engagements to Hollywood red carpets, these sparkling gems have captured the imagination of people worldwide. In recent years, advances in technology have introduced new ways to create diamonds, such as Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD). If you’re wondering, “what is a CVD diamond ring?” and how it compares to the diamonds of history, we’ll explore both in this journey through the most unforgettable diamond jewelry moments.
What is a CVD Diamond Ring?
Before diving into history, let’s briefly explain what a CVD diamond ring is. A CVD diamond is a type of lab-grown diamond produced through a process known as Chemical Vapor Deposition. In this process, carbon-containing gases are broken down, and carbon atoms are deposited onto a substrate, forming a diamond. CVD diamonds are chemically identical to natural diamonds but are often more affordable and eco-friendly, making them a popular choice for modern consumers.
Now that you know what a CVD diamond ring is, let’s look at some iconic diamond jewelry moments from the past and how lab-grown diamonds could play a role in the future.
1. Queen Elizabeth II’s Engagement Ring
One of the most famous engagement rings in history belongs to Queen Elizabeth II. The ring, a 3-carat round diamond set in platinum with smaller diamonds on each side, was crafted from a tiara belonging to Prince Philip's mother. This diamond has become a symbol of timeless elegance, reflecting the legacy of the British monarchy.
Could a CVD diamond ring replicate this? Absolutely. CVD diamonds are optically and chemically identical to natural diamonds. Modern brides looking for an affordable yet regal option can easily opt for a similar design with a CVD diamond ring.
2. The Hope Diamond
The Hope Diamond is one of the most famous diamonds in the world, known for its deep blue color and fascinating history. Weighing 45.52 carats, it’s currently housed in the Smithsonian Museum. Its rare color and large size have made it a subject of intrigue for centuries.
What about a CVD version of the Hope Diamond? With advances in technology, it is possible to create colored CVD diamonds, including blue ones. While the original Hope Diamond is priceless, a similar look could be achieved with a custom-designed CVD diamond ring.
3. The Taylor-Burton Diamond
Elizabeth Taylor’s love affair with diamonds is well-documented, but the Taylor-Burton Diamond is perhaps the most iconic piece she owned. This 69.42-carat pear-shaped diamond, given to her by Richard Burton, became one of the most talked-about jewels of the 20th century.
Can a CVD diamond replicate this? While CVD diamonds are often smaller than such massive natural stones, technology is evolving. A CVD diamond ring in a pear shape can offer a similar dazzling effect, giving wearers the glamour of Elizabeth Taylor at a fraction of the price.
4. Princess Diana’s Engagement Ring
When Prince Charles proposed to Princess Diana in 1981, the world took note of her 12-carat oval sapphire surrounded by 14 diamonds. The ring has since become iconic, now worn by Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
Could a CVD diamond complement this style? Yes! While Princess Diana’s ring featured a sapphire, the surrounding diamonds could easily be recreated with CVD diamonds, making it a more sustainable and cost-effective option for modern brides.
5. Marilyn Monroe’s "Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend" Performance
Marilyn Monroe's iconic performance of “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” in the 1953 film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes cemented her place as a diamond icon. Draped in sparkling jewelry, she created a lasting image that continues to influence fashion and jewelry trends today.
CVD diamonds in Hollywood glamour? Absolutely. CVD diamond rings and jewelry can mimic the old Hollywood sparkle, allowing fans of classic glamour to enjoy diamond jewelry in a more accessible and sustainable way.
6. Meghan Markle’s Three-Stone Engagement Ring
When Prince Harry proposed to Meghan Markle, he presented her with a custom-designed three-stone diamond ring. The center stone is from Botswana, where the couple vacationed, and the side stones are from Princess Diana’s collection. The ring is both symbolic and deeply personal.
CVD diamonds in modern engagement rings? The three-stone design is timeless and can be beautifully replicated using CVD diamonds. In fact, a CVD diamond ring allows for the same sentimental and personalized designs that define today’s engagement jewelry.
Conclusion
Diamonds have been at the heart of some of the most memorable moments in history, symbolizing love, power, and glamour. Today, with the advent of CVD technology, diamonds are more accessible and sustainable than ever before. Whether you're inspired by the Hope Diamond or a modern celebrity engagement ring, a CVD diamond ring offers the beauty and brilliance of traditional diamonds with added benefits like affordability and ethical sourcing.

I agree something weird happened behind the scenes in Bridgerton because who vilifies the heroine in a romance? Who doesn’t give the heroine a good monologue? Especially after she’s been told off and treated like she’s conniving when we all know she sacrificed years of her life and was willing to sacrifice her happiness for her sister’s sake and suffered all season? Who doesn’t let the heroine say anything about that? Who doesn’t put the heroine front and center in promo? There were so many bad decisions in s2. It’s like they didn’t understand the expectations for historical romance or the audience for it at all. Forever grateful for Simone and JB but the writers and showrunner…I have no words!
I really think there’s layers to it but also just bad management. I think the writing team should have worked together to write episodes and not divided them up. It’s not cohesive.
I think they did want to do something different that season 1 which okay sure but they took it too far and completely missed the mark for the romance genre like you said.
I think CVD had a realllllly weird obsession with Edwina. Again, which I don’t understand? Like okay flesh her out more but good god they changed her completely??? And then try and make her the main character for some reason? We!! Aren’t!! Here!! For!! Edwina!!!! I don’t!!! Care!!!! About!!! The Goddamn wedding!!!!!!!! Screw all your BTS, the obsession with the dress, etc on that one terrible, episode where you basically assassinate characters left and right. I tried. I tried so hard to understand. But I’m so over it. Everything I have learned or heard about that episode makes me mad. I am not hating on the actress but good god everything she says just makes it worse and makes herself look worse. Did she think she was the hero? Even my causal viewer friends did not like edwina. (Also, that one quote where it felt like her wedding, etc and how she’s can’t quite separate herself from the character…like maybe you’re in the wrong career that’s really not good for your mental health. I’d say the same if it was any other person on who said that instead. A character is always going to get hate no matter who they are. You have to accept criticism. Note: she is a good actress so pls no one try and kill me)
tldr: How did noooo one turn around and say….this is bad?
Also let’s just try and villainize your leads (like let’s be honest there were points where we just didn’t want to root for Anthony with his behaviour) and let everyone shit on them and then try to sell the sister soulmates tag line and the family love (Christ we didn’t even see that with the Bridgertons they were just MEAN).
I’m not one to make conspiracy theories but a part of me really feels like they felt they couldn’t promote a openly gay man and an a brown woman for a romance so they didn’t try. I think CC had a louder voice than SA (who maybe is just quiet generally) and things went her way a bit more promo wise (why do I also think she got babied a bit bc she’s relatively new to acting? That might be my imagination though). I think they scrambled after rege’s exit but for the life of me can’t imagine how that effected the scripts that much (except maybe adding more Featherington scenes?).
Part of me thinks there was alterer motives but honestly I think it comes down to a lack of leadership/direction or at least some people up top had conflicting ideas about the season and this was the garbage they produced
Simone Ashley & Jonathan Bailey you always be famous to me, thank you for your outstanding performances and you did the eldest siblings proud and you deserved so much better 💜
End of rant ❤️🩹
#can you tell I’m done#I wish some days I could unlove this show and ship but they have my heart#season 1 writing was just so good I’m so mad why could they not pull it together#I need someone behind the scenes to spill the tea#I’ve tried so hard to be lenient with my judgement but I’m at a boiling point!!!#my first thought today waking up was wondering why they didn’t promote Simone at alllll#you know she’s a gem of a lady so whyyyyy#bridgerton#anthony bridgerton#kate sharma#s2

Not the same anon as before but if the writer says Mary and Edwina were not at the wedding that's pretty canon for me. As it is canon the fact that Edwina called Kate half sister and never apologized for it or the fact that Mary treated Kate as a maid and told her to get out of the room after the botched wedding :) I hate CVD but that's maybe the first in character choice he made...not having them at the wedding :)
bestie it’s not in the show it’s not canon. He said it in an interview just like he said k&a fucked in that garden when it’s pretty clear anthony went down on kate and stopped there. I don’t care what he says about that, I think it makes the show worse if that’s what happened but there is no basis for it (as I said, the show goes out of its way to imply that’s not what happened) so I will happily ignore it. Likewise, the show goes out of its way to show mary, kate and edwina are all on the way to mending their relationship and to show that no matter how they hurt each other, they love each other. Literally both edwina’s and mary’s last scenes with kate are scenes that go out of their way to make it clear they are ending the season on a positive note. It makes no sense that after that they would be like “hm actually I take it all back” like even if you hate them the canon text of the show simply does not back that so again I will happily ignore it. You can run with it if you want because you want an excuse to hate them, that’s your prerogative as stupid as I may think it is, that is your interpretation of them, but that is YOUR headcanon that you are spouting at me and expecting me to comply with, which I am under no obligation to do. It’s not text, it’s not canon. Nowhere in text it is said that edwina and mary did not attend kate’s wedding, I do NOT have to take that into consideration and into my interpretation of the characters because as far as the show is concerned, that quite literally did not happen. Next season when kate says “edwina and mary did not attend my wedding” you are more than welcome to come back here and throw it in my face and ask what I think about it then, because THAT is making it canon. An offhanded remark on a random interview is not. I don’t care how much you may love it that you have an excuse to hate them more than you clearly already do. It’s not canon.
also lol “I hate cvd but I’m going to take this as complete unaltered fact because it plays into my bias despite my constant disagreeing with everything else he says”? Do you have any idea how transparent you’re being rn

Research Journal #3

Vries, M. D., & Boer, I. D. (2010). Comparing environmental impacts for livestock products: A review of life cycle assessments. Livestock Science, 128(1-3), 1–11. doi: 10.1016/j.livsci.2009.11.007
This journal article explores the environmental impacts of several animal products, specifically focusing on livestock production. The article studies these impacts through a "Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)" that delineates two different ways that livestock production affect the environment. The study uses five categories to analyze data. The article pulls from several studies done on LCAs in various countries that are members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development because in these countries, a large portion of one's diet is from animal products. The article notes that, "All studies evaluated five impact categories: land use, primary energy use, climate change, eutrophication and acidification, except for Hospido et al. (2003) and Casey & Holden, 2005, Casey & Holden, 2006." In addition, the article touches on how eating plant based diets have been discussed as a possible solution to the environmental impacts of the livestock production life cycle.
After reading through it, this article is a solid source of quantifiable data that shows environmental impacts of animal products. In addition, these impacts are broken up into categories which could assist me in narrowing my topic down in the future. This article specifies certain types of animal products as well, helping me to understand where the majority of change is coming from. I believe that this source will be a good starting point because it covers a generally broad idea and really caters to what I want this research to be about. Also, looking at the references of this article helped me find some articles that are more specified and will also possibly be of value to my research process.

Craig, W. J. (2009). Health effects of vegan diets. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 89(5). doi: 10.3945/ajcn.2009.26736
This article is less about the environmental impacts of animal products and focuses on the health of a vegan diet. The article mentions possible diseases that lacking the nutrition from animal products could be associated with. Some of these include cardiovascular disease, cancer, and bone health. The article then explores potential nutritional downfalls from restricting animal products from ones diet. For example, the article notes that "Compared with lactoovovegetarians and omnivores, vegans typically have lower plasma vitamin B-12 concentrations, higher prevalence of vitamin B-12 deficiency, and higher concentrations of plasma homocysteine (72). Elevated homocysteine has been considered a risk factor for CVD (73) and osteoporotic bone fractures (74)." Finally, the article provides suggestions for the best ways to approach a vegan diet in a healthy way.
This article could be of value to my research because it provides a good basis of information of another route that this idea could be taken. In addition, this article could help me develop questions for primary research about if the vegans I survey or interview take any of the suggested measures to ensure they are getting the nutrients they need. At the least, this article could help me summarize some of the potential health benefits of a vegan diet when setting up a foundation for my findings.

This article is not specific to a Vegan diet, but its focus is on the motivations behind a Vegetarian diet. The introduction notes that "The data indicate that vegetarians may follow a trajectory, in which initial motivations are augmented over time by other reasons for sustaining or further restricting their diet." The article introduces the various reasons that people adopt a Vegetarian diet. The study that this article analyzes an online forum followed up by interviews, mostly from people in the US, Canada, and the UK. The study explores how people with different motivations build upon and change their eating habits. The article also includes direct quotes from the participants in the online forums in the results section.
This article could be useful in my research because it provides direct reasoning from people who adopt vegetarian and vegan diets talking about their own motivations. In addition, as a whole article, there is a bigger picture about the main reasons people make this choice. I am interested in exploring the connection between ones motivation, specifically from an environmental standpoint, to eat a vegan diet and if the health limitations are too prominent. I think this will be an interesting source for research because it will provide me an idea if there are many overlapping motivations for eating a vegan diet.

From Laboratory to Luxury: The Evolution of Lab-Grown Diamonds
Diamonds are a girl's best friend, or so the saying goes. But what if we told you that there is an option for diamonds that not only looks and feels just like the real thing but also comes without any ethical concerns? Enter lab grown diamonds - a fascinating alternative to traditional mined diamonds that have been gaining popularity in recent years. From their history to how they're made, as well as where to buy and how to care for them - this article will take you through everything you need to know about lab-grown diamonds!
Lab-grown diamonds are created using two main methods: High Pressure-High Temperature (HPHT) and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD). The HPHT method involves placing a small diamond seed in a chamber with carbon material and subjecting it to extreme heat and pressure. The carbon melts and forms around the seed, causing it to grow into a larger diamond. On the other hand, CVD production begins with a thin slice of diamond placed inside a sealed chamber filled with gas. By heating the gas to extremely high temperatures, plasma is formed which breaks down molecules in the gas. This results in atoms bonding together on top of the original diamond slice, forming new layers of crystal until it becomes an entire gemstone. Both methods produce identical diamonds that can range from colourless to fancy-colored diamonds such as pink or yellow. Lab-grown diamonds have become popular among consumers due to their affordability compared to natural diamonds while still maintaining similar quality standards.
If you're in the market for a lab-grown diamond, there are several options available. You can purchase them from jewellery stores that specialize in lab grown diamonds or online retailers. Here's what to consider when deciding where to buy: Firstly, do your research before purchasing from any retailer. Look for reviews and feedback from previous customers to ensure that you're buying from a reputable source. Secondly, check out various retailers' selections of lab grown diamonds and compare prices. It's important to note that while lab-grown diamonds are generally less expensive than their natural counterparts, the price can still vary depending on factors such as size and quality. Thirdly, consider the customer experience offered by each retailer. Do they have knowledgeable staff who can answer your questions? Do they offer warranties or return policies? Decide whether you want to purchase in-person at a brick-and-mortar store or online. Purchasing online may be more convenient but it also carries risks such as not being able to inspect the diamond in person before making your purchase. Take time researching different options so that you can feel confident with your decision on where to buy your lab grown diamond.
Lab-grown diamonds are an affordable and ethical alternative to natural diamonds. While they share the same physical and chemical properties as mined diamonds, they require slightly different care.

Which Rudraksha is for Success in Life?

Introduction The Rudraksha is a seed of a tree that grows in the Himalayas. It's been used for centuries to help with spiritual growth, healing, and protection. Rudraksha beads are believed to have healing properties because they contain astrological significance. Each bead has its own unique characteristics that correspond to different planets in our solar system, as well as other celestial bodies such as stars and constellations. The first letter of each name corresponds with one of the twenty-seven lunar asterisms (star groups). Identifying Genuine Rudraksha Check for 21 natural grooves or faces. Weight- The heavier the Rudraksha, the more powerful it is to help you with your intention. Color- If you're looking for something specific in terms of color, like red or white, this is another way to tell if your Rudraksha is genuine or not (but note that some colors aren't as effective as others). Water test- Drop some water on your bead and see if it sinks or floats--if it does either one, then chances are good that there's something wrong with it! Consulting with an Expert If you're interested in learning more about your rudraksha, it's important to consult with an expert. A spiritual advisor or healer can help you confirm the authenticity of your beads, as well as advise on their spiritual and healing purposes. Benefits of Different Mukhi Rudraksha It's important to note that the benefits of a particular Rudraksha will vary based on the number of mukhis it has. For example, a 7 Mukhi Rudraksha is said to be beneficial for those who want to improve their relationships with others and make new friends. A 8 Mukhi Rudraksha is thought to bring prosperity and abundance into one's life, while an 11 Mukhi Rudraksha is believed to help you achieve success in all areas of your life by increasing your energy levels. Signs that Your Rudraksha is Working Physical signs: You feel more energetic and have a better appetite. Your skin looks healthier and younger than before. It also feels softer to touch, even if it's dry or oily. Mental signs:- You are able to concentrate better on your work or studies without getting distracted by noises around you or other thoughts in your head. You can focus on one thing at a time without being distracted by other things that come into your mind during the process of doing something important for yourself or others (like cooking dinner). This helps improve productivity because there is less wasted time spent trying to remember where things were last placed when looking for them again after forgetting where they were put down earlier! How do you think cc Donnie would take the Technodrome? Any aftereffects you think he'd have?
i would NEVER do anything to cc!donnie like the horrors i put cvd!donnie through (because ive still danced around in the story it but its BAD bad) ,,, and my reason is just "i think he's been through enough" but depending on your interpretation of how you want the movie to go i think there's still plenty of horrors there. i could see him being in the console being extremely triggering because of his claustrophobia, at the very least!
#ask#canary continuity#cvd was me going ''i like prison dimension time dilation but have you considered: technodrome time dilation''#not in the way that any actual time passed its not another dimension. but the connection made it feel like eternity#completely feeling stripped of his personhood. fighting against nothing. screaming into the void.#for what felt like days. weeks. months. no time at all#the thing that spoke to mikey was not donnie. that wasn't his voice those werent his words#he described it as false-euphoria because it was. trying to pull him under and make him submit#probably best described as attempted brainwashing. the console was not built for him#so it attempted to shape him#honestly i could ALSO see cvd!donnie having some dark related triggers/claustrophobia#but only specifically if he's not in his right mind. i could see him freaking tf out if he's drugged#and i think he would know that. they try to give him painkillers and he flips his fucking shit on them#he avoids sleep and he will literally react like a cornered animal if they try to force him. especially chemically#unless he LITERALLY collapses#... actually im noting that down for a future cvd plotpoint#okay wow this is more than i expected to talk about#i'll tag it with cvd#circumventing death

The differences of lab diamonds in the technological facets of manufacturing
TREASURE PRODUCTS: 99% of all lab grown diamonds manufacturer sold worldwide are polycrystalline to a molecular degree. The differences are essentially in the technological facets of manufacturing, reducing, and also polishing. Consider it in this manner-- all coffeemakers are made of plastic, steel, and glass, the distinctions are just how these materials are developed as well as applied. Higher-quality coffeemakers make a better-tasting cup of coffee. The higher quality produced diamonds are in line with mined diamonds. HIGH-QUALITY VARIATIONS: It feels like grade variants are made out to be a more intricate lab-created diamond problem than it actually is. When boiled down, there are 3 primary grades of simulated diamonds-- high, tool, and also low. For the fashion jewelry buyer, it ought to be noted that the quality of the setting goes hand-in-hand with the quality of the gemstone. Those that market manufactured diamond fashion jewelry off point-of-purchase display screens in the outfit jewelry sections of discount stores make use of poor quality or scrap rocks that are not treasured top quality and also have disco ball or dirty appearance. Those that offer made diamond fashion jewelry on the television shopping networks-- which is usually with sterling silver or a micro-thin layer of gold plated over silver (Vermeil [obvious ver-may] setups-- make use of average quality stones, not of gem top quality. Those that offer solid 14K gold or strong platinum setups, generally, use the highest possible gem-quality man-made gemstones that duplicate mined diamonds.
Medium-grade 1.5 carat lab grown diamond price can be distinguished by the naked eye as not being mined diamonds. Top-quality gems quality lab-created diamonds, undistinguishable by the naked eye from mined diamonds, are found mounted on settings of strong 14K gold and also platinum. Manufactured diamonds that sell for over $100 a carat are not greater high quality than those that offer for in between $80 and $100 per carat.
On the clearance rack, you can even get some precious jewelry for less than $5 per item. If you purchase substitute diamonds set in sterling silver, expect respectable rocks, but they will deceive a few rights into assuming they are mined diamonds. Additionally, your fingers are most likely to turn green or black in action to a chemical reaction, not with the silver per se, but with the nickel/copper alloys in sterling silver. With any kind of layered setup, gemstones are reduced to medium-grade, as well as the plating will at some point chip off, especially around the edges. When that takes place, the nickel/copper alloys will be subjected, the setup will resemble it appearance of a gumball device, and your finger will generally turn environment-friendly or black. It is just an issue of common sense, if you want to substitute diamonds with mined-diamond qualities, they need to be embedded in 14K strong gold. Jewelers that use cvd diamonds for sale are not going to invest cash on gold and not place the best rocks, which would certainly beat the purpose of creating great diamond-like fashion jewelry and also estrange consumers.
About cvd diamond tester
The precious jewelry fan, who is interested in recognizing the substantial financial savings and visual charm that lab diamonds provide, is frequently bewildered by the manufactured diamond market lingo as well as available choices. Greater quality manufactured diamonds are in line with mined diamonds. Medium-grade simulated diamonds can be distinguished by the nude eye as not being mined diamonds. High-grade gems high-quality lab grown diamonds wholesale, undistinguishable by the nude eye from mined diamonds, are located mounted on settings of solid 14K gold as well as platinum. If you buy substitute diamonds established in sterling silver, anticipate suitable rocks, but they will deceive a couple of rights into assuming they are mined diamonds. Are natural diamonds better than laboratory diamonds? If their 4 C's of diamond grading are the same, well at least, they look the same to the naked eye.
4 C's. It's hard to contrast the shade and also clarity of Lab-grown diamonds as well as lab diamond wholesale. The top quality of many all-natural diamonds is low, so the quantity that can be utilized for fashion jewelry is tiny. Today, the color and clarity of lab-grown diamonds can be really outstanding. With the development of the diamond market, today the rate of a solitary diamond is related to the 4 C's, but the value of the entire all-natural diamond has absolutely nothing to do with the 4 C's. Human society (including diamond online marketers as well as consumers) has actually given more worth to the natural diamond.

Me: Nah... whats the point of even trying to buy online right now when I’m basically jobless and I have kinda compromised myself to invest in trying to help me out with mental health stuff (i.e. going to a psychologist) to help me find myself in this awful identity/career crisis I’m right now because I’m suffering through it cuz I don’t have anything... safe in a short term?
*sees something that catches my attention*
Me: Wait a MINUTE... where I have seen this pattern before??? I... AHHHHH.... but I promised myself to not check auction site because I know HOW I AM and I can’t even try to buy something reachable to my wallet because my CHEAPEST shipping method is still suspended???
But... I’m curious ._. should I... check it... out? Curious. I’m just curious.
*One of the first items that appear in the first page is a pretty familiar item... relatively CHEAP (cheap w/o service fees) and the auction ending relatively soon, and I spend a long hour thinking “but I haven’t bought anything out from the Americas since 2020...? inflation? SAL is still out of the game? AHHHHH... but, when is it going to be the next time I see this... THIS cheap? There are other items (that I kinda consider “holy grail”) that look relatively cheap, as well... I KNOW this proxy service is kinda tricky because service fees and what not, but STILL, I think I can compensate the price I HAVE seen before with the shipping price... also, didn’t I go through smth similar like this over 5 years ago -although the USD vs MXN peso wasn’t at it worst, YET-?
So, I bid. And a few minutes later I win it.
I do have my peer of issues with this because, as we say “qué ganga”, (how cheap), even though the thing is catalogued as “damaged/dirty”... but then I took notice of the good rating the seller had, and looked around their stuff... and it looks like a thrift store of items they want to get rid off as cheap as possible. Or... one of those clearance sales.
There’s another item that has been on my eyes since a while, that looks quite cheap (more or less), but I will probably consult it with the pillow, cuz its auction ends in a couple of days... and while it is cheap... I’m also thinking in the fricking service fees (and remembering how I ended up spending through the other times I went through this in this site)... My last couple of numbers (as a joint) were around 1200 pesos pre-cvd crisis of “the USD dollar not going down from 20 pesos, which is fun ://”) but, at the time, I still had a couple of working gigs where I received money back for m services... right now, though...
I know this is impulsive of me, and I kinda made a deal with myself in not spending THAT MUCH considering all my sh*t going on UNLESS I got it all together... but also it’s like... one of a time opportunity considering my godawful luck these days (and hoping I don’t basically conjure a monkey’s paw situation) because, who knows if this would repeat itself the next time I go through the site? I foresought (?) four years ago that the future wasn’t looking bright... and then cvd happened and then... well... :’) things aren’t still looking bright for me, lmao. Take note that I’m in a middle of career/identity crisis because either one is oversaturated, or the other is a BIG area of opportunity... unless you live in the country’s capital, ofc, which you don’t nor can’t. Neat.
But then, I got a little jealous when I identified that item before and reading about someone else managing to get this specific merch... and then remembered past stuff, so I asked myself “when will be the next time? You have stuff you have been wanting to buy since a long time ago, but circumstances here and there have not been favorable to yourself (from issues with the mail service, stuff regarding my card(s)... pa*ypal... currency exchange succking hard... you name it), and these things are aging - or they are becoming out of print... or you have to get through the second hand market and play the long wait game...” And it happened today was a little of my lucky day.
On the other hand, I’m regretting a bit into this because I know my current circumstances. I have been thinking in expanding my horizons with my art, too, but I’m still a relatively unknown artist after all these years and cannot offer commissions when I don’t even have that much of a network or reach (and let’s not even begin with “adult in her early 30s not knowing well how to taxes”) to at least get some money back... but also I don’t feel good about it? Like I said, I’ve lot of sh¨t going on and lack of confidence is just a part of it.
I have m*ney saved but a lot of it is destined to health stuff because, surprise, I don’t even have healthcare or smth similar to it here (which, lbr, it all sucks)... but since I’m not getting any of it fluctuating my way at the moment (my last work gig was from last year around this time... but basically that money went to my family/house because we aren’t doing good in general), well. Yeah.
I know spending in trivial things is not morally wrong (I have a P*treon subscription that I’m thinking, again, in lowering my active tier a little so I can save a little more)... and I still go out and buy either some bread or a snack (which are suffering because, you guessed it, inflation prices)... but this is all rooted deeply on me. All of these are consumable. I still want to get nice and comfy clothes or even a good pair of shoes, which in the long term, are good, but.also, I’m getting incredibly stingy because it all translates to “yeah... but also, fun = no money”.
I just... imagine why I’m rambling and possibly going into tangents on a simple impulse thing I went for (also more like a test “hey, you havent used pp in the past year, and hey, its been 2 years since you bought smth from JPN, specifically”), call it something like a “buyer’s remorse” thing, because I remembered how this whole proxy service works and I was looking at how my expenses from last time was divided, etc, etc.
#kao's nonsenses#one of those moments where i'm all 'fml'#i wish i had that moment where i did a whole flex and not going full buyer's remorse because i really cant spend much atm

Aptos has a bearish outlook on the higher timeframe price charts. The recent gains could easily be wiped out if it was not backed by genuine demand for APT. Aptos [APT] saw its market structure flip bearishly on the daily timeframe on 15 August. A month ago, APT was trading at $6.1, but at the time of writing it was valued at $5.3. Over the past two weeks, this trend appeared to slow down. Is your portfolio green? Check the Aptos Profit Calculator In other news, the Aptos blockchain announced a partnership with Flowercarbon to align itself with the climate change agenda. The partnership is aimed at pushing APT toward sustainable practices. Aptos threatens a structural break with gains of over 8% Source: APT/USDT on TradingView On Sunday, 24 September, APT saw a large bullish swing in the lower timeframe price charts. Within 20 hours the token noted gains of 8.3%, climbing from $5.07 to $5.49. On the daily chart, the previous lower high sat at $5.36. Hence, this surge higher was one of two possibilities- a sign of bullish intent and the beginning of a retracement of the losses of the past month, or a northward liquidity hunt before further losses in value. The RSI remained below neutral 50 to indicate a downtrend in progress. The market structure of APT on the daily chart remained bearish but will shift its bias upon a daily session close above $5.36. The OBV has noted some gains over the past week and signaled buyers entered the market with noticeable strength. A move above $5.65 and its subsequent retest could offer a counter-trend buying opportunity. The take-profit targets would be the 61.8% and 78.6% Fibonacci retracement levels at $6.82 and $7.34. The Open Interest saw a wild swing higher Source: Coinalyze As noted previously, Aptos posted large gains and nearly reached the $5.5 mark. This saw speculators go into a bullish frenzy. The Open Interest noted a spike from $65 million to $85 million. It was a huge sign that speculator sentiment was bullish- but were they right? Realistic or not, here’s APT’s market cap in BTC terms The spot CVD remained in a downtrend and did not support the idea of hefty demand. Combined with the importance of the $5.36 and $5.5 levels in the lower timeframe charts, the recent spike could have been a bull trap and we could see a drop in Aptos prices. A drop below the $5.03 mark would be indicative of a continuation of the bearish higher timeframe trend. Source

Significant COVID-19 Impact on Absorbable Heart Stent | Healthcare Industry

Impact of COVID-19 on Absorbable Heart Stent in Healthcare Industry
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), also known as SARS-CoV-2 or 2019-nCoV, is a human infectious disease caused by the coronavirus that causes severe acute respiratory syndrome. COVID-19 was declared a pandemic by the world health organization due to the rapid rise in human infection rates. The COVID-19 pandemic has influenced the whole planet with its major impacts on the economy and businesses across the globe. Though the emergence of the virus can be traced back to Asia, many European countries along with the U.S. have been struck massively by the pandemic. The virus has spread across all regions ranging from North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and Africa up to South America. After the declaration of the pandemic, various countries announced the complete lockdown such as India, China, and other Asian countries to decrease its spread. According to the latest situation report by World Health Organization (WHO) stated 175 million cases of corona virus have been reported globally and 4 million patients are dead due to the coronavirus. On a slightly positive note, a total of 158 million people have recovered and a total of 2 million vaccine doses have been administered.
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a worldwide pande0mic, and cardiovascular complications and arrhythmias in these patients are common. Cardiac monitoring is recommended for at-risk patients. The novel coronavirus pandemic has significantly impacted the timely delivery of surgical or stent treatment for patients with severe coronary vascular disease. This has created a large backlog of work and upstaging of disease with consequent increase in risk and cost of treatment and potential for worse long-term outcomes. As countries emerge from lockdown but with COVID-19 pandemic in society, precautions remain that restrict ‘normal’ practice.
Stents are small, expandable tubes that treat narrowed arteries. Coronary artery stents are used to open the blockage of arteries or to expand the narrowing arteries, which helps to treat a heart attack, and reduce pain like chest pain. Absorbable Heart Stents are said to be “the fourth revolution” after balloon angioplasty, baremetal stents, and drug-eluting stents. As these provide mechanical support for a determined period and then disappear from the vessel, allowing its natural healing, and avoiding the risks associated with having a permanent metallic cage, such as stent thrombosis. The absorption of the stent could potentially lead to a recovery of the endothelial function of the vessel, making it responsive again to vasoactive agents. The potential benefits, including the decreased risk of stent thrombosis at long-term follow-up, one of the most feared complications of metallic stents, have led to absorbable stents, a field of growing interest in interventional cardiology.
The increasing prevalence of geriatric population and adoption of sedentary lifestyle along with the rise of obesity in people are driving the absorbable heart stent market as coronary artery diseases require appropriate surgeries for 'their treatment’. But there is a negative impact of COVID-19 on the absorbable heart stent market due to massive disruption of supply chains, and financial fragility forced manufacturers to shut down their industries as absorbable stents require high financial inputs for manufacturing.
For Instance,
· According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), about 18.2 million US adults age 20 and older have CAD (about 6.7%), which has required appropriate treatment
· According to the European Cardiovascular Disease Statistics 2017, each year, cardiovascular disease (CVD) causes 3.9 million deaths in Europe and over 1.8 million deaths in the European Union (EU)
Moreover, COVID-19 has made it more challenging for the manufacturing companies to bridge the losses and attempt to fulfil the demands during these times. The COVID-19 has impacted the business of manufacturers, and other service providers that are involved in absorbable heart stent devices.
STRATEGIC INITIATIVES FOR MANUFACTURERS
A large pool of the population affected by this COVID-19 virus, and its spread is expanding across the world in the last few months. To deal with the COVID-19 outbreak challenges, many market players are creating new strategies.
The key players engaged in providing products such as Medtronic, Boston Scientific Corporation, Abbott, Cook Group, Angiomed GmbH & Co. Medizintechnik KG face challenges to keep the growth during coronavirus and to maintain the demand and supply chain with proper protection of the employees.
For instance,
· Medtronic focused on providing special protection and care to its employees. Its manufacturing and distribution facilities are routinely cleaned and sanitized, employees are utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) and social distancing, including staggered breaks to reduce crowds in common areas, and additional screening and access protocols have been implemented.
· Medtronic increased contributions to its Employee Emergency Assistance Fund, which is providing need-based financial grants to employees who are experiencing economic impact due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including childcare reimbursement.
· Boston Scientific Corporation is providing extra precautions, including increased cleaning measures, social distancing protocols, and the use of face coverings for employees who work onsite, along with personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees in the workplace ensuring business continuity.
IMPACT IN DEMAND
The outbreak of the coronavirus has shown impacts on various markets around the world. It is the cause of lockdown and isolation, which ultimately has an impact on global economic activity. This is why the global epidemic has shrunk by 1.0% in the current year.
Although the COVID-19 pandemic continues to transform the growth of various industries, the immediate impact of the outbreak is varied. While a few industries will register a drop in demand, numerous others will continue to remain unscathed and show promising growth opportunities.
As heart patients are under suspection for higher exposure to COVID-19, demand for absorbable stents surges as companies are making efforts to provide help to healthcare systems to overcome the scarcity of stents while treating CAD. Absorbable stents are in high demand due to the high prevalence of interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular procedures amid the COVID-19 pandemic, which prevents the patient from staying in the hospital for long.
The clinical observations suggest that a person with heart disease has been more prone to COVID-19, which lead to clinical complications. Therefore, the government of various countries laid guidelines for special care, and treatment for heart patients. This has surged the demand for absorbable stents among people for early treatment of CAD to prevent complications of COVID-19.
For Instance,
· According to an early bulletin released by the American College of Cardiology (ACC) on March 6, 2020, people who have underlying cardiovascular disease, have a higher mortality rate when it comes to COVID-19 (10.5 percent) than people who have an underlying chronic respiratory disease (6.3 percent)
· According to the American Journal of the Medical Sciences, the COVID-19 mortality rate for people with pre-existing cardiovascular disease was between 10.5 and nearly 14 percent, and the number surged to between 35 percent and almost 87 percent for people who had underlying coronary artery disease
IMPACT ON PRICE
COVID-19 has forced the countries to impose lockdown and restrictions worldwide. This has affected many industries and economies. The total lockdown in various countries forbade the transportation of raw materials, and the business of service providers. So, manufacturing absorbable heart stent devices has become difficult, which directly impacted the prices largely.
For instance,
· In 2020, National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has been approved to hike the prices of absorbable heart stent on seeing the current scenario and making it easy for the manufacturers.
IMPACT ON SUPPLY CHAIN
The COVID-19 outbreak has disrupted the supply chains for absorbable heart stents globally. The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 and its subsequent impact on restrictions on trade and development of goods has resulted in a shutdown of vast portions of the global economy, resulting in disrupted supply chains due to transportation cessation, which affected the manufacturing unit largely.
Companies in the arterial stents market are helping healthcare systems to stock inventory and medical devices in order to avoid supply shocks amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
For instance,
· According to FDA, there have been reported shortages of medical devices and equipment amid COVID-19 due to disruption of supply and service providers
· According to Springer, 2020, many companies experienced dramatic exposure to supply chain disruptions during the pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns (Strange 2020) due to their reliance on offshore supplies
CONCLUSION
The COVID-19 has impacted the market positively. To summarize, the prices for this market has increased as manufacturing requires raw materials which have been disrupted amid COVID-19. The demand for absorbable heart stent market has been increasing due to the prevalence of geriatric population and adoption of sedentary lifestyle which leads to various coronary vascular diseases, but the supply chain and service providers are unable to satisfy the needs, and thus, have impacted largely. However, manufacturers, service providers, and the government are making new guidelines to work safely in the workplace in the new normal and combat the gap between demand and supply. Overall, various measures have been taken by the market players to improve their business and the quality of their services.

Good question. I’ve always thought it’s sort of tacky to start screaming about gun control after a tragedy. Also, there’s a few things in OPs argument in the notes that I take issue with.
I, and many others, graduated HS at 17. Started college at 17 too. As an 18 year old, I was an adult, working to pay my bills and living off campus by myself (it was cheaper than the dorm bill). Why should I have been denied access to my 2nd Amendment rights?
We send soldiers to war, and allow citizens to vote at 18. Why deny their 2nd Amendment rights?
America is on the edge of a MH epidemic like we’ve never seen. This is possibly because we’ve spent the last 2+ years shoving CVD restrictions and fear and gender confusion and divisive rhetoric down the throats of teenagers and children. You don’t get to fuck with a developing mind the way we’ve been doing, and then act shocked when the kids are off their rockers.
Also… Sheriff Salazar (Bexar County) worked extremely hard to secure funding and implement accessible MH resources for crisis response in his community. Not to sound flippant about a tragedy, but perhaps Uvalde would be interested in looking into similar avenues.
Regardless, restrictions to Constitutional rights are never conversations that should be had while people are too emotional to think about the 2nd and 3rd order effects.
I know someone who’s kids go to Uvalde elementary. I know they were scared I saw their posts and their pain. My dads coworker had their child killed by the shooter. Dont open your mouth to send prayers or condolences or “that should not have happened” don’t open your fucking mouth unless it is to advocate for gun control
