tenmyouji, dio, and chiaki part ways after a murmured conversation that sigma likely couldn’t help but overhear; tenmyouji’s expression in particular is dark, as he stalks off toward the infirmary. chiaki’s countenance, meanwhile, bears a heavy sadness that seems to physically weigh her down.

after lingering for another few seconds, she turns. it’s clear her mind isn’t quite in the right place when, with her eyes downcast, she blunders directly into sigma, who’s still conversing with phi. the girl doesn’t even seem to notice the obstacle in her path at first. then she glances up, and quickly backpedals.

“a-ah... sorry.” she’s being overly cautious as she fiddles with the strings of her hoodie, unable to look them both in the eye. she has a distinct feeling she may have creeped them out earlier, when she was able to pull their names seemingly out of thin air. she’d been unable, or unwilling, to explain then. how could she explain? they’d just call her crazy.

a self-conscious, tight smile forces its way onto chiaki’s face as she averts her gaze. “i guess... we have a bit of time before the next doors open. what are you two planning on doing with it...?”

🔥 people change! like i know that's a hard concept for tumblr people to grasp but people who do bad things can actually do better. i mean... when i was younger in the 2000s i was a 4chan member and a writer for encyclopedia dramatica. a real internet bully, scummiest of the scum. and yeah i still have an attitude problem and i get off on being a total bitch, but im not going around trolling and doxxing people anymore.

Morgana was busying themselves by wandering the streets. He didn’t know how far they gotten but, it was something to do while Joker was wooing with (name redacted).

But then their blue eyes locked upon a man...whose eyes were also staring at their feline figure.

“Meow... (Why is that human staring at me intensely...? I’m not sure how to feel about this...)”

Morgana had a yellow collar, so there’s definitely something to prevent them from being adopted. ...But that would not prevent any interactions with random humans.

It’s a peculiar thing, knowing that somewhere out there he’s succeeding or failing at this exact moment, somewhere the same and yet so different. It’s peculiar to know his own future- doubly so to know the one he’s trying to prevent. So far, everything is going well, and according to plan. 

The butterfly effect, however, is a cruel mistress. It has him scrutinizing every little thing he does, wondering if some small, mundane decision will be what leads the project to ruin. 

Soon, everything will launch, properly. He already knows what’s coming, finds himself staring again and again at the back of Diana’s head when she’s turned away. He sees the way she fawns over Phi, even having no idea. Sigma’s mind wanders, wondering how their psyches connect. Does Diana just... know? With all the research from the first nonary game, he can’t say he’d be surprised to find out.

When he comes back to himself, comes to the halting realization that he’s been staring at a wall for an unknown amount of time, Diana is there with her soft, caring eyes. “Sorry, spaced.” He explains, smile coming easy- always easy for her. “Were you asking me something?”

diana is such a pretty lady... it’s a shame she dresses like an older woman, honestly. with the right eyeshadow, lipstick, and highlight, clover could really make those big blue eyes pop! it’d be a nice experiment for clover, too, because she rarely got to do makeup on other people. her brother couldn’t even see the results, so what was the point if she practiced on him?

“hey, diana,” clover says, hands laced behind her back, fluffy teased hair bouncing into the other woman’s field of vision. “would you be okay with letting me give you a makeover?”

her own eyes were wide, her expression easy to read. please say yes! please say yes!

   Saima laughed a bit at the mention of Sigma being a gift to society’s women but everything else he had mentioned did inspire some curiosity. It was just a matter of figuring out what they would want to focus on first. “What kind of things have you been focusing on within the quantum physics field - and what are some of the discoveries that may never get the recognition they deserve?“ That scientific angle was especially fascinating and they were all too willing to listen to the kind of discoveries that Sigma had made.

Rae & I have noticed that small text doesn’t work on asks, at all, AT ALL. It’s undone the moment anything’s published or drafted. so something’s screwy!

I’d heard about that before but I was usually able to go back and edit them - it’s odd that this is happening to me now.  Does xkit have a fix for this?
