Dream gave Eret a way out, a bad one, but one that leads to his redemption.

Transport to the Gem Homeworld wasn't easy to get. You'd need to get some help. The branch of the Crystal Gems located near your home was a good place to start, you rarely interacted with other gems aside from Eyeball, and despite your nervousness you had to do it, for her. But at this point you weren't sure if it was love or obligation driving you. You felt as if it were both. And so press on you must to keep her from falling into that pit of madness. You've only just barely been able to do that, but a little progress is still progress.

Seeing as Eyeball seemed... frightened, at the idea of going back to homeworld, and a familiar sense of dread welled up, you assured her you were simply getting her citizen records from homeworld, to ensure a legitimate marriage. She stood by the door as you closed it... sorrow dawning across her face as you left. She looked at you through the window, you put on an earpiece, it was genuine gem tech, and you point to it for her to see, a look of surprise followed by her pulling a comlink crystal from her gem, a few taps of it and her voice is in your ear, and yours to hers, even across the cosmos.

(Nightlife Begin)

Your car roared to life at the push of a button, and down you went to the Crystal Gem office near your home, the sky clear of any clouds, a few survey pods flitted about, piloted by rubies and peridots, and you, confident in your quest. The CG Office was deserted of your kind, in fact it was empty save for a pair of rutiles at the desk.

"Er... Hello?"

They seemed entirely nervous, the left one spoke first. "Oh! Ah... Hello, what... can I help you with?"

Calmly you stated your business. "I need transport to Homeworld, I'm getting married and I need a set of my fiance's documents for the legal part of it."

"Ah... let me...", the one on the right trailed off as they tapped away on the computers in front of them, pulling up transit files most likely. "Well... You're in luck! The monthly ship to homeworld arrives in 5 minutes! The landing pad is through the north hallway, go on!"

Her impatient tone hastened your body to follow her directions, and go you did, the ship could be heard landing while you sprinted down the hall, you could hear Eyeball nearly squealing in joy through the earpiece...

You were welcomed onto the ship by a detail of pair of Amethyst guards, you felt expected, one of them gave you a pat on the back and a smile, her teeth were like a shark's...

You took your seat on the ship, it felt rather empty, until the two guards set themselves on either side of you while the ship lifted off, there was no rumble of engines nor did you hear any sound outside, a holoscreen appeared in front of the three of you, showing the swift ascent from earth toward the stars...

Cleared from the atmosphere the sparkled void spanned countless untold lengths into infinity, the holoscreen remained, showing now an image of the path ahead of the ship, the stars themselves slowly turned to mere streaks of light while the shiped gained speed beyond anything humanity could acheive. While the amethysts seemed unaffected, your head spun with the movements, dizzyness crept upon you until... the sharp toothed Amethyst took a firm grip of you, sliding her arm around your shoulder and pressing you into her solid, bulky frame, she spoke reassuringly, to help you focus on her and not the flight...

Several hours later... you arrive on homeworld still tight in the Amethysts grip. You thank her, and pull yourself from her grasp, until she said you were to be escorted to Yellow Diamond herself... you heard Eyeball gasp...
