A part of you was unsure how your Orc Boyfriend would react. As you pruned the bouquet of flowers in your hands, you were starting to regret your idea. It was only a few paces from the camp now, surely you could just turn back around and throw it away, right?

Flowers were something that women received typically. Maybe he would think you were insinuating something about him, or that maybe he was weaker than you thought he was-

“Love! You’re back!”

Too late for take backs now. Hiding the bouquet behind your back, you watched as your Orc Boyfriend dropped a wood chopping axe and rushed over to you. “How was your walk? Did you get what you needed?”

You weren’t sure why you thought you could hide the flowers from him. He was at least two or three feet taller than you.

He peered over your shoulder and raised an eyebrow. “What’re those for? You’ve never brought flowers back before.”

Well, now or never, you thought. Meekly, you pulled them out from behind your back and held them out to him.

Your Orc stared at you for a minute, looking you up and down in confusion. “I… Um…” Where did you even begin with this? You must look insane.

Sighing, you lowered the bouquet and looked down at the different blooms. “When humans really like each other, sometimes they give flowers. So, I picked some flowers for you.”

There was silence for a moment and you felt your face burning. You knew it, this was a stupid idea.

“You picked these… for me?” His green hand came into view, wrapping around your interlocked fingers.

You nodded, still not looking at him.

Before you could stop him, he had snatched up the bouquet and held it high above his head. He bellowed to his others in the camp: “Look here! My lovely lady brought me flowers! What have you suckers got?!”

Orcs from their various work stations looked up, growled, snarled and swatted their hands at your Orc, “get stuffed you lug!”

Your jaw hung open at your Orc's audacity, before he looked back down at you and gave you the widest grin. “I didn’t know humans did such a thing,” he admired the flowers in his hand, seemingly as big as daisies in his huge hand. “You picked these yourself?”

“Wait, you like them?”

“Why wouldn’t I like them love?” Your Orc kissed you on the forehead. “You went out of your way to get them for me.”

“It’s just… I thought… Human men don’t normally get flowers, so I thought that…”

Your Orc let out a bark of laughter, “but I’m not human, am I love?” He pulled you into his arms and squeezed you tightly. His arms were the most reassuring and calming thing at that moment.

Hugging him back, you realised that there had been nothing to be afraid of. How could you have assumed that he would have been insulted by your gift?

“Anything from you is something to be treasured.” He mumbled to you, giving you another kiss on your lips.

— a while back i stumbled upon mushroom oasis and was absolutely dumbfounded by how good it was already (all whilst being a demo, too!!)

couple months later the recent update comes out and i kid you not youtuber after youtuber started uploading videos of their playthroughs and i genuinely felt so GIDDY??<DK!!! and !!!! incredibly excited for you ! 

so happy for the game's success because it is ABSOLUTELY deserved - and your hard work most definitely shows within that !

all that being said be sure 2 never forget to take care of your well-being! tis' important to note that you always come first :P

Anon I would like to apologize to you in advance for leveraging your ask for this debauchery but people wanted to know the hex codes for the color of their tips and I am nothing if not committed. Have an overly detailed description of the vanpeens:

Lucien: #9F6358. Thick and heavy and BULGING. Is that a nuclear missile in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? Lots and lots of veins. Dark red happy trail.

Marcel: #CF9A97. Paler than you'd think but honestly, checks out. Veins for days. Long and slender. Neatly trimmed happy trail.

Vermilion: #D19496. Long and curved just right, and really, really pretty. Like, why aren't you on reddit bragging about it pretty (he is). Happy trail that reminds you of the color of his eyes. Tip has a pearly shine to it. Veins perpetually throbbing.

Sylas: #BA6A65. Girthy enough you wonder if it hurts to walk. Had to have his armor specially made and it still wasn't enough, probably. Flushes an angry red when desperate. Better give him what he wants soon. Heavy balls

Eris: #CF8080. Also flushes a reddish pink but not as much as Sylas's (as everything between those two, yes this is a competition). A rather lovely vein running down the length of it. More on the slender side, curved upwards a little.

his herd all escaped except him. one might think it was because he nobly sacrificed himself for their safety... but really it's because he's insane and convinced himself he can take down ~20 armed robots on his own.

the months of recovery followimg his rescue are not fun... mostly cause of the stressful human-filled environment and miscellaneous injuries (the big scar on his back is supposed to be an electrical burn)

but also because when he's able to walk again he isn't put back with his original herd (NOBODY knows where they are rn lol)

he is put with the nearest known group of individuals... which just so happened to include his long lost brother Einhorn (he's the purple one. and @ranfordgallus' oc)

wouldn't say their relationship was "bad" or "toxic" growing up but i'll try and describe it..

yk that person who's always been doing way worse than you in some way? the one who makes you feel good about yourself every time you're able to help them out?

the one you (consciously or otherwise) use as a point of reference whenever you feel bad about your own shortcomings like "at least i'm not doing as bad as that guy!"

yk that feeling of panic when you notice said person rapidly approaching your level... maybe even starts doing BETTER than you? being angry at them and even angrier at yourself for caring so much?

anyway Spar is currently in the process of convincing himself that he is NOT feeling any of these feelings

the REAL reason he's upset is CLEARLY because Einhorn is putting himself in mortal peril by associating with these vile hairless apes... clearly...

anywayyyss that was probably the single angstiest thing i've ever created and the most lore for an oc i've ever successfully worked into a tangible media...
