I’m sorry to hear abt your relationship, but when one door closes a new one opens!

Dirty/smut writing, for me anyway, is a bit of a toss up. So much of what people consider “hot and sexy” I cannot take seriously and end up laughing about (even though arguably it can still be hot!) I’ve gone back and deleted stuff here and there because it happens with my own work too. And that’s ok! I think it’s all wonderful so long as the writer is having a good time.

A couple things to keep in mind: Don’t be afraid to laugh at yourself when you experiment with writing and make sure write the things that make you excited. So much of casual dirty rp is about catching your writing partner’s vibe and kinda meeting in the middle.

Don’t be afraid to say you like something and also play off of what they like- especially if you want someone to rp long term with you! Some people just bounce around casually so you might not get more than a couple interactions with someone but that’s ok!

I also think writing solo scenarios is important. Kinda broadcasts your writing to the greater tumblr area and helps other people kinda get a feel for what you write and how you write it. It also gives you time to develop and enjoy your own voice in your own blog/bubble.

Don’t take yourself too seriously, remember we’re here to enjoy ourselves, and it’s also ok to be ghosted. We move forward and we keep having a good time!
