art dump cuz i realized ive never actually put my version of Tatiana here too..... better late than never ig!

Tatiana; Callsign "ORDER", her AC is a mystery. She stands tall in her giga corp's tower, and even though you might not see her in battle at first, she's always watching. Not also helped by the fact that the building is equipped with a laser cannon on top. Step foot on her turf, and you may as well loose that foot :) She rules her territory with a rock hard fist.

-She's a first gen Coral augmentation! Ex-mercenary turned corporate CEO due to a devastating event involving her old team....

-Even though her skin is almost like a rock, Coral still seeps through the cracks, waiting to awaken again. Quite literally, she is the embodiment of it.

-She considers Dosers (such as Mayday) as "faulty", thinking the cure to it is to simply eradicate them.

-NSR (or ig it would be called NAR here) specializes in Coral augmentations, and coral infused ACs. Maybe even a bit too much, as general maintenance is left behind, causing the corporation to have a lot more weak spots than it cares to acknowledge.

Something's bugging me about NSR lore

In all the time Mayday was a fan of the Goolings and Kul Fyra... she apparently never googled them (or whatever the in-universe search engine is) or did more research about them? These days, you can look up nearly any musician with a stage name, and the search engine, the wiki page, the whatever-it-is will give you their real name right there, or at least in a click or two. And I don't think it's a matter of search engines being in their infancy; we know that No Straight Roads has to at least take place after August 2006, since there are references to Pluto no longer being a planet, and there are also references to memes popular in the 2010s ("haters gonna hate", "kill it with fire", Salt Bae, and maybe more I'm missing).

So with that in mind, a few possibilities:

The Goolings were just really secretive about their band members' identities, and kept this up after disbanding

Tatiana pulled some legal strings to keep the information from getting out

No Straight Roads takes place in an alternate 2000s timeline where Pluto was discovered to be a dwarf planet much sooner

Something else I can't think of right now

But this all just gets more confusing with Kliff involved... because he knew Kul Fyra's true identity all this time. It is implied that the two knew each other before the events of the game, but why didn't he mention it beforehand? Would it demotivate Mayday, or throw a wrench into his other plans, or what?

Or maybe I just think too hard about cartoony action games with alligators flying helicopters and flying robot factories controlled by dance moves.

Honestly, I don't think so, UmU.

I think that Tatiana wouldn't forgive him for getting other people involved in their personal drama. It's one thing for him to threaten her because she can stand her own against him, but it's a whole other thing that he not only manipulated B2J into causing trouble, but also threatened the lives of innocent people.

I do think that they were civil enough to talk it out after the revolution, which gives Kliff the strength to finally let her go, but it basically ended with her saying, "I never want to see you again, and there will be consequences if I do."

There's probably still a longing from him to be with her, but it'll fade with time when he finds something new to love~

TIME TO PREDICT SOME SHIT IN BINGO!!!

There are still unsolved questions and what happened and we only got a teaser to show us! I want to know more about NSR 2!

Also to note:

We are getting TWO new playable characters - One revealed themselves to be a keyboard player based on the silhouette here! The fourth member - Not so much! Either they're gonna be a bass player or a singer!

We haven't got the aftermath of Vinyl City nor the Old NSR Bosses and others! And since it's been 3 years, that means all of them might have new glow ups. Yinu specifically because she'll be from a child to maybe an adolescent! (9 to 12!)

We don't know what happened to Kliff so I assume he was being punished for his attempt at destroying Vinyl City with a falling Satellite for petty reasons.

Hopefully we get sneak peeks of the bosses too! So far we have clear visions of two! There's also a third but it's during a battle scene, I didn't get a good pic!

The Mystery Mural Man has been a secretive character in the NSR universe. The only confirmation of his existence is the Mural in Tatiana's tower. Nothing else.... AND THE CREW LIKES TO TEASE US WITH ROCKTOBER NON CANON STUFF SO PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW IF HE'S REAL

NSR 1 has a past focused on Zuke but not Mayday! We know Zuke's history with Eve and DK West, but Mayday's always an interesting girl to me! She's different from everyone else (Flowery eyes) and there's not much about her other than her love for Rock, Kul Fyra, a vague family history, and how she and Zuke formed B2J! I do hope the sequel touched this since they teased her glow up!
