does anyone else really love how nu carnival's character development is genuinely represented through the h scenes or is it just me because i'm back on my bullshit about it again after watching rei's first SSR and dante's icy equilibrium

genuinely though every single kuya focus we’ve had as of late is really showing us more of his development and i think this one really hit me because it was sooo.. domestic and normal and just cute tbh 🥹 seeing kuya being.. not necessarily vulnerable but relinquishing a small amount of control to eiden and as such showing he trusts him more now than he used to is soooo heartwrenching for me like Oh my god this truly is a once in a life time moment. what the hell

well i said it would happen and it did; olivine’s new intimacy scenes have officially ruined my life (more under the cut)

ending dialogue for r5s almost always makes me emotional but THIS??? THIS???1?????? dude this is so cute. i love seeing olivine’s development LOL it’s a lot more subtle than kuya’s but it’s still there

going from being a priest who’s afraid and ashamed to becoming someone who can accept and face his past traumas as well as be honest with himself and the people he cares about means so much to me, especially because he’s always been seen as more of an object, a thing of the people, someone who has to live up to other’s expectations rather than fulfilling his own desires..

this whole card story was so adorable and i’m soooo happy olivine was included in the event.. my beautiful irish catholic wife he deserves to be happy

thinking about how the h scene demeanours change depending on the event’s emotional subtext.. with the current event they’re relatively vanilla (in comparison to others, at least)

the current event is lighthearted and reminiscent, so the h scenes aren’t as hardcore and quote unquote freaky as they usually are? at least in comparison to welcome to elysium and mirage of scales, the content is a lot more dialed back in terms of what they’re doing.. (think current kuya h scene vs elysium h scene..)

like my absolute favourite thing is how much emotion + story is told through the intimacy rooms LOL. it gives me incentive to finish them

i got slightly sidetracked but i genuinely think this is true for all of them.. kuya's possessiveness and the recent scene where eiden and him kissed, yakumo traumadumping every single scene he has, edmond's confidence slowly becoming more clear and initiating stuff etc..

it’s such good symbolism of how eiden’s grown since coming to klein.. the way that he takes care of.. well, himself.. broke my heart actually i love him so much

also this dialogue!! oh mmy god 😭😭 even though past eiden couldn’t hear them it felt just like writing a letter to your past self.. and it’s so beautiful HAHA

the whole event kind of serves as a reminder to eiden that he’ll always have people in his corner and that he is loved and strong and brave and it just makes me so happy :-) they treat him the way he treats them and it’s such a cute way of showing him his efforts don’t go unnoticed.. he has had such a profound impact on everyone it’s so lovely to see
