extending hospitality fic update!

Alrighty, my dear lovely readers, I’ve been working on the next part to Extending Hospitality, but I keep running into the same troublesome question. 

Should this particular fic stray from the canon storyline and have Obi-Wan and the Reader leave the Order together? Perhaps giving Anakin the choice to go with them?

Or should the Reader and Obi resolve to remain in the Order for Anakin’s sake? To keep their vows as Jedi rather than tempt a realm of passionate emotion?

 I feel like the second option is definitely more in-character of Obi-Wan and of two adult Jedi, but then it feels like I’m repeating a fic I’ve already written of the same plot (see Among the Blossoms). I’ll probably go with the first option to spice things up a bit in the world of Obi-Wan fics, but I would love to hear feedback below! 

I think this is why I’ve been struggling so much with finishing this second part more than any other fic because I feel like I already wrote the ending when I wrote my first fic, Among the Blossoms, which was unrelated to EH. They could go together quite well, actually, so I think I just subconsciously confused myself.

Summary: With growing tensions bringing the Republic ever closer to civil war, Obi-Wan Kenobi isn't all that surprised when he and his padawan, Anakin Skywalker assigned to investigate a trail of missing weapons and rampant piracy on the edge of the Outer Rim. After following a lead on smuggler, and pirate Sas Vom, the two Jedi find themselves drawn into a planet on the verge of civil war. The question of whether or not the Jedi and the Pirate can work together to prevent two wars is a given. The real question is will Anakin have enough painkillers for the massive headache they'll give him.

Summary: sith!Obi-Wan au, in which Sas was able to fly Padme to safety and deliver her children but at the cost of losing the man she loved. Five years have gone by since the fall of Republic, since the fall of the Jedi Order, since Sas said goodbye to the man she loves. Since then Emperor Palpatine has brought in new enforcers; Lord Vader his right hand, and Grand Admiral Abusivus a man Sas refuses to admit bares any resemblance to Obi-Wan Kenobi even when he stands right in front of her. As the rebellion attempts to hold itself together, Sas and her shapeshifting abilities hold the final pieces the Empire needs to put them down.

Consequences: Obi-Wan gets protective of Ahsoka after finding out Anakin plans to use her to get into the Zygerrian slave camp. Some people are more willing to roll with the changes Obi-Wan wants to make to the plans than others.

Hi dear! Your recent fic was so cute and heartwarming and I loved it! I was about to read your other fics on masterlist, but there's error (DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN), at least from mobile Tumblr:/ and I'm sorry if I seem rude, but I find it hard to read fics when you use such small font in a long fics similar what you used in obi-wanxreader fic. But it was great and I loved it anyway💕

Author’s Note: This is a story from a prompt list that I reblogged from the blog of @verobird. Christmas is so soon and I am excited! I love Christmas, and I love the winter season. Hope everyone has been having a wonderful holiday season. This is a short piece, but I loved writing it!

“Obi-Wan, the movie is about to start!” You shouted out, watching as he came running down the stairs. You couldn’t help but admire the man. He just looked so handsome. Obi-Wan was wearing flannel pajama bottoms and a black shirt that fit his frame just right. His hair and beard were a little messy, but you thought it looked so cute.

“Don’t start without me!” He said, hopping onto the couch. The two of you quickly got in your usual couch position, tangled in each other’s arms with your head on his chest and his arms around you.

“You don’t even like this movie.” You told him, looking up at him.

“You’re right, I hate it. But it is your favorite Christmas movie, so I don’t mind so much.” Obi-Wan teased with a laugh.

This was your favorite time of the year, and you were glad you got to spend it with him. Christmas was your favorite Holiday, and you always tried to go above and beyond for it. Though cuddling on the couch with him was your favorite activity. Especially since it was snowing outside, and the fire in the fireplace was keeping the two of you cozy.

“I just love you so much Y/N. I am glad I get to spend another wonderful Christmas with you.” Obi-Wan said, kissing your forehead as he held you as close as possible.

He was so warm and comfortable, and you never wanted to be let go.

“I love you. I am glad we get to spend it together too.” You told him, looking up at him and kissing his cheek.

The two of you laid like that for a while, giving each other kisses and talking lovingly while the movie played in the background. Eventually, the two of you drifted off, and the sound of the grandfather clock woke both of you up.

“Hey, Merry Christmas love,” Obi-Wan said, his voice a little rough, loving the way it sounded when he was just waking up.

“Hrrmm?” You mumbled, sitting up and looking at the clock. “Oh, Merry Christmas!” You said with a smile, leaning over to kiss him.

“Come on, let’s open some presents!” Obi-Wan said, standing up and stretching.

“Absolutely not. I need coffee before I even think of anything else.” Before you could get up Obi-Wan had picked you up and began carrying you into the kitchen.

“I’ll make you a cup, don’t worry. But I better be getting a cool gift!” He teased, causing you to laugh as he set you down on the bar stool.

Things began to get a little busier through the day, and you honestly wished you could go back to last night. The Christmas cuddles were so relaxing and wonderful, but at least you would be able to do it again tonight. What a Merry Christmas it was indeed!
