i hope to god and every single saint that I get to witness an Actual Schism in the catholic church in my lifetime I want to see an american cardinal declare himself pope

#the pope specifically calling out american catholics 😳#I don't keep track of the catholics generally because I don't know any anymore #but the bits of current events that sneak in front of my sight via reddit have been Juicy in this department #obviously I don't In General agree with the pope's like Whole Thing #but sometimes he says good things #sometimes he says dumbass things #but at least he's got the right idea about immigrants #assuming they're straight presumably
