Ruth would be in the corner, thinking about all the other things she could be doing if someone (Ace) hadn’t dragged her here

Sandhill would be in a room upstairs within 10 minutes. He fucks.

Vex would also be upstairs but only if Vista is present. He’s got eyes for his man and his man only

Caroline wouldn’t even be there she is not a party person. And she is much better at telling people no than Ruth is.

Sandhill is older than Ruth, mostly taking up a supportive friend role to her, when she isn’t a party person of an established crew. He’s tall but otherwise unassuming, with tanned skin and dark brown hair. The most outstanding thing about him is the red bandana he keeps wrapped around his head to cover his right eye, which was gouged out by a pirate when he was younger. He’s no nonsense and serious, and attract casual relationships left and right. As of yet he hasn’t found anyone he’d even consider spending more than a night with.

Vex is a Whitebeard Pirate, who has a whole tragic story related to if the events at Marineford follow the canon or not (as such Ruth saves his mental health inadvertently many times). Pre Marineford, he and Vista are both desperately in love with each other and both think the other one isn’t interested. In happier universes, they get together post Marineford and everything is fine and nothing wrong happened to them ever :) (Vex is also transmasc, but that isn’t really a huge part of his story.)

Caroline is a lion mink. She and Shishilian are second cousins or something, they’re related but they never state how, because it’s too complicated. She keeps her hair cut medium length, and braids it to keep it out of the way. She’s married to Wanda and is happy to keep the house while her wife goes and does Musketeer and Kingsbird things. (I had to make one OC who hadn’t experienced the horrors(tm) to balance out the turmoil I put the others through)

Martin also exists but his purpose is to suffer. Sorry pal. (He was in a relationship with Kuzan and had to deal with Sakazuki and the tree idiot post Marineford. Borsalino winds up taking him with him after Egghead, taking pity on this man who has done literally nothing wrong but has suffered so much)

Vexes and Allays

Ancient forest dwellers, probably existing since the Pioneers era. Many Allays live in the dense forests, hiding from the gaze of travelers. However, when meeting them, fairies do not show hostility, due to the fact that they rarely encountered the cruelty of other people's intentions. That's why they become a really easy target for traders and hunters

Vexes are the fairies of the Dark Forest. As with Illagers, The Dark Forest changed fairies in its own way. For their unceasing passion for hunting and fighting Evokers use them in battle mostly

and how did i come up with it? i needed a placeholder name for the little worlds i imagine that seemed to follow the same rules involving thread, so i came up with an acronym that didn’t sound terrible and i havent found a viable replacement yet
