ATTENTION: Someone stole my heckinâ artwork and put in on Redbubble on their own account đ«„

Itâs not just the tote bag, tooâ they copied the design, uploaded it, and selected yes for every single product option, allowing folks to purchase any product with this design from their site.
Folks, please do not do this.
If you want the same tote bag in green, or a hat with the same design or something, just ask the artist. Iâm sure I and many others would be happy to oblige.
If youâre thinking to save money, I regret to inform you that Redbubble keeps most of the profits anyways, so youâre still going to have to pay nearly full price for the product.
Most importantly, by reuploading someone elseâs work under your own name, youâre depriving artists of the credit for their hard work.
I spent the eight days leading up to the release of Octopath 2 making those countdown icons in anticipation of playing a masterpiece.
I was thrilled that people liked the icons, and even more thrilled that folks wanted physical versions of them in the form of stickers or shirts or tote bags or whatever else. Thatâs why I made my Redbubble page in the first place: so the people who like my art get to keep it as a physical product while expressing their appreciation. Reuploading artwork not only robs me of the profit Iâd earn, it also robs me of that knowledge that all artists covet: that folks out there love our work.
In short: Please donât steal art, friends.
That said, this person also has some other fanart on their Redbubble page. It might be their own work, or it might not. If youâre an artist who has drawn Octopath Traveler fanart, please check it out. Thereâs a Zelda thing on there tooâ a fanart of Hestu from BotW/TotK.
I know people here are good folks and I probably donât have to say this, but please *do not* harass the person who made this page. This is partly why I havenât included a direct link. Iâd like to think it was an honest mistake.
And last of all, shoutout to @8bitayla for letting me know that they found this page! I very much appreciate the notice.
Now Iâm off to see if I can get the product with my stolen artwork taken down. Have a wonderful day, everyone!

some more thoughts I had while reviewing a few banters, that I can't quite fit into the analysis I'm currently writing...
In the "New Paper Plays" banter between Temenos, Agnea, Castti, and Partitio, Temenos mentions that he wrote and illustrated his paper plays himself, noting that he specifically tailored them to be appealing to children. This got me wondering about all the "mistakes" he makes while reading these plays to children, which I've wondered about a lot because Temenos is clearly very familiar with all the scriptures (to the point where he can share certain stories at a moments notice when he feels they're fitting for the situation), so it seems strange that he would mess up the details.
And then it hit me--Temenos is probably making the mistakes on purpose. This would achieve three things: 1) It allows the children to have fun learning the scriptures because they can laugh and correct Temenos on the details he messed up, 2) It helps the children to build their confidence because they feel smart when correcting him and aren't afraid to speak up and correct him, and 3) It teaches the children not to blindly rely on and trust others for things they either know to be true or could otherwise investigate and learn the truth themselves, even when (or especially when) the information comes from someone who should "know what is correct"--which is the core of Temenos's approach to his faith. The third point I feel is what Temenos is specifically trying to get at with his mistakes, since he is an "authority" figure, and if the children aren't afraid to stand up and correct him, then they may become adults who likewise aren't afraid to question and investigate things for themselves.
It's rather clever really, since Temenos isn't outright saying "hey, you should doubt things that are presented to you as true and told not to question". Instead, he's modelling the actual actions for the kids by presenting them with something they know isn't correct from someone who should "know best", and allowing them to question and correct him.
It's a very "Temenos" approach to teaching the scriptures, and considering that doubt and questioning and coming to one's own conclusions can be a form of faith, it isn't even antithetical to his role as a cleric. It's a really neat bit of characterization that I didn't even notice until I realized that Temenos clearly put a lot of thought into how his plays were constructed, and that his purposeful and careful thought process is central to a lot of his characterization, so of course the "mistakes" he makes while reciting the plays would be thought-out and purposeful as well.
#octopath traveler#octopath traveler 2#octopath ii#temenos mistral#all of the characters actually have SO much going on with their characterization and all sorts of little details#I swear I am actually close-ish to finishing the long analysis#I just keep getting distracted by ''wait WAIT I didn't realize this before but!''#oracle of lore

Theological Ramifications of the Octopath Traveler II Epilogue
Heavy spoilers for the end of Octopath Traveller II ahead.
OK SO At the end of the Journey for the Dawn, the gang faces off against Vide. Vide, as we know, is a figure from mythology and theology of Solistia, essentially their version of The Devil, from The Bible.
So Point 1: How would the gang feel about having met, fought, and defeated a literal god? Presumably all 8 of the gang are believers to some extent - there doesn't seem to be any evidence that there are atheists in Solistia that I can remember, and the fact that they all have Divine Skills I think means they believe at some level. Would Temenos "Doubt is what I do" Mistral have to reconsider his views on the gods?
Also we know that the 8 gods of Solistia fought Vide and, while they succeeded in defeating the evil deity, they basically fell comatose and "became as four flames."
HOWEVER, our gang, 8 puny mortals, were able to defeat Vide without anyone dying or being turned into a campfire.
So Point 2: Are our gang more powerful in combat than the gods? There are two instances I can remember of people referring to members of the party as incarnations of the gods - an NPC asks if Partitio is a reincarnation of Bifelgan, and in a travel banter Temenos (probably somewhat jokingly) refers to Throné as the heir to Aeber.
So! As word spreads that these 8 travellers saved the entire universe, would cults spread about them? Would people worship them as new gods? Or as incarnations of the existing ones?
Would their be a theological schism, akin to the divide between Judaism and early Christianity? By that I mean, one group viewing the party as being blessed by the gods, the other group worshiping them as being aspects of the gods on earth. And then probably a third group who worships the party as gods in their own rights.
TL:DR: What are the theological ramifications of the party meeting and defeating a literal chaos god.

I recently had the awesome honor of drawing someone's favorite blorbo from the game I am so very autistic about. This man is such a shitten, and getting that to shine through was a lot of fun. You can nab your own commissions from me over here!!

It's been a rough year for me so it's been uh, forever since I posted any art.
Anyhow finally got around to making some Octopath fanart since I love both the games so much but rarely make art for them. Was planning to do a series of "additional crossed paths I would have liked to see" but after I finished this I realized I just wanted to draw Ochette and Temenos, because their shared connection to the Dark Entity is SO interesting to me, wish we could have seen more stuff about that in the game proper. Might actually finish the other three arts I had planned for the project, but depends on how my creative energy pans out I guess.
Not sure how I feel about the colors/lighting, but considering how long my break from art was between drawing Ikona and this, I don't think this is too bad.
âââââââââââââââââââââââââ
2024, Spring Digital (Adobe Photoshop) Ochette and Temenos are characters from Octopath Traveler II, and belong to Square Enix. Artwork belongs to me.
This image (published by the artist to deviantart.com/plaguelily, plaguelily-art.tumblr.com) may not be reproduced, copied, edited, republished, reuploaded, distributed, or redistributed in any way, and I do not give permission for the creation of any sort of derivatives of my work including the use of the work in datasets used for generation of AI art or any other sort of procedurally generated image program or software. Thank you.

controversial i know but DEEPLY underrated song from the octopath ii soundtrack
her voice IS that good. its a great lead-in and its awesome that she gets a âin pursuit ofâ song and is the only non-main character to get one. dont get me wrong i was rooting for agnea but dolcinaeaâs a great character. shes so selfish but gives her money to charities. she has a good redemption arc. tough boss battle (toughest of the ch4s in my experienceâŠ). shes got a girlfriend. shes dumb. shes summonable. and she gets her own theme which she SLAYS
#t#octopath ii#if dolcinaea has 0 fans im dead etc etc#WAIT. and veronica of course.#does it help that i have a weakness for villainess type characters? welllllllâ [runs off before i can answer]
