the last few weeks for javier and jean must’ve went something like this. her going to work after a rushed kiss to his lips and a quick goodbye and javier coming back home late at night, falling asleep with her already asleep probably for hours next to him. there’s not been a single day that he can remember where they just got to spend time together, properly talk about their days and how they’re doing. as crazy as that might seem for their relationship, javier can’t even remember the last time they had sex. they’ve just been too busy and too tired and he misses that. just to spend time with her, cuddle up next to her and talk to her. that’s why they both decided to take a day off and for once spend it together again, just the two of them. seems like the universe doesn’t want them to have that though. ❝ this is my day off. we talked about this. i can’t come in today. ❞ he argues but his boss not having any of that. he just angrily hangs up and murmurs a fuck you before he takes a deep breath and makes his way to jean. ❝ babe... ❞ he mutters, frowning a little and not even daring to look at her. ❝ ❝ that was my boss.. he needs me to come into work in a bit. i’m really, really sorry. ❞

if someone told alexa about four months ago that if things ended between her & bas she’d be completely devastated, obviously she would’ve called them completely insane. but that’s exactly what happened now. they ended things & she wasn’t alright at all. well, four months ago she didn’t think she’d ever fall for him either though, did she? back then it was about sex & only sex but things changed so much & now she wasn’t okay at all. she never thought she’d miss him this much. ever since those damn texts, she hadn’t properly slept at all & yes, maybe just maybe, she had cried a bit too much. she couldn’t do it anymore. she knew that somehow they could fix this. she had to fix it since she ruined it all with how stupid she had been, or well at least she was convinced it was all her fault. she wasn’t sure how she was supposed to fix this but she had to do it somehow. that’s exactly why she was standing in front of his door now. actually, she stood there for about 10 minutes already. she knows that he probably doesn’t want to see her but she just wants to try to fix this at least. so eventually, she knocks twice. yes, she actually knocks & doesn’t just go in because while she’d usually do that, it doesn’t seem like the right thing to do. & she just hopes he’s even home & she didn’t come here for nothing.
