You know I still think about wtf the first scene in Expurgation even means. Like what's with the multiple skeleton-ghost things and why are they trying to pull each other together? I assume that's Auditor or pieces of him? Why slam into the huge pillars of light? And what exactly is the lightning thing pulling them around (I kind of assume it's Hank's arm, but who knows, lightning isn't specific to him)?

I assume "thorn lodged in reality is infected" means Auditor's body is wrestling with Tricky really fucking him up after being absorbed, and I assume maaaybeee those are pieces of Auditor trying to collect themselves. Who knows. I've always found myself perplexed by it!

Anyhoo, graghhh even the small details like Hank hitting the floor with so much more oomph and weight than Sanford does. The shuddering, powerful hum and bubbles and warbles that the corruption from Audi/Tricky shadows is so cool, it's so eerie and menacing.

I've always been really fond of the scraping rock sound that they've made when characters cut or slide through rock, its surprisingly common and it sounds so gritty and strong.

Dude like even at 2:16 you have Tricky's iconic sound effect that's accompanied with when he twitches/freaks out, arghhhh that's so COOL!

Hell there's even the tiiiiniest nuance that Sanford punching Agents is a little meatier, whereas hitting the Tricky skeletons has a slight more rocky crunch to it. And cute, I never realised the masked skeletons do little growl snarls!
