hello pls nascar steve/soda headcanons (busy mostly steve) like what car would he drive and wait idk if they get to choose but also what do u headcanon that steve would drive (in like the outsiders canon not the nascar au)

Nascar drivers aren't 'assigned' a number or even a sponsor on their cars; the cars are made by the sponsors and different car producers, and the number and sponsor represent the team as a whole. Personally, I'm gonna say he drives with M&M made by toyota (just because I think it's funny and he's a chocolate fiend), though that would only be if it were modern. If it were to be in the 60s, yes, he may have a sponsor, but it would only be from small local auto shops which wouldn't even put the names of their businesses on cars. We're gonna go with a modern au because it's cooler. So we have the little M&M guys on his front hood, maybe with a light blue color scheme. As for his number, we can pretty much choose anything from 0-99, How about we go with 17? It's his age in the book, and he'd have to be aged up to be in NASCAR.

As for what actual Steve would drive? Probably a ford. From reaserch, the cheapest ford car in the 60s were the Ford Falcons, so maybe one of those? Afterall, i headcanon he collected the moeny his dad gave him as an apology and from work so he'd try and get one as soon as he could and fix it up so it'd be better than what he could get. BUT, that being said, he could have just as easily bought a broken or second-hand more expensive car and done-it-up just to say he has it.

it's  a  small  thing  only  i  will  probably  spend  an  inordinate  amount  of  time  brainrotting  over,  but  i  purposefully  changed  the  color  used  in  ren's  formatting  not  only  to  match  with  his  new  graphics  but  also  as  a  sign  of  character  growth.  because  i  AM  a  huge  sucker  for  development  and  he  IS  gradually  healing  —  and  i  love  the  idea  of  his  colors  shifting  accordingly  from  those  dusty, desaturated hues  to  royal  blue  and  gold.

Since I can't go back to work until next week, I've started putting more of Fal's pre-existing stories up on Ao3. I've put 4 up so far and I should be able to finish his second arc, at the very least... Well, if you can call 20k-ish words an arc.
