hello everyone

it's been a long time since I posted my drawings but I've redrawn old creations I've made since college in my drawing books I've turned them all into gemsonas, well almost but be careful I warn you in advance some of my creations may resemble other characters from other artists please do not create a Drama on social networks thank you and also there is some creation that I made could be inspired by another creature but sometimes I forget the name of the artist who created the character that I was inspired if you reconess the inspiration of one of my creature of an artist know that I'm sorry, thank you.

Questa settimana abbiamo incontrato un’artista davvero speciale: Giada Folcia, che potrete facilmente trovare sui Social più importanti con il suo alias: oldfox. Come sempre non rubiamo troppo spazio con le presentazioni, entriamo subito nel vivo della nostra intervista.

– Incominciamo chiedendoti del tuo nickname, Oldfox, ci puoi svelare l’origine o il motivo dei questo nome?

“Oldfox” è la vecchia volpe… il Nick name è nato per gioco… molti anni fa passai davanti a una locanda chiamata la vecchia volpe. Ridendo mi dissero “ah, sei tu!”

Io risposi: “perchè?”

“Hai i capelli rossi, sei la più vecchia e sei poco furba”.

Da lì hanno iniziato a chiamarmi così… ed è diventata la mia firma sui disegni, nonché mio nome d’arte. Nel frattempo sono invecchiata, ho passato mille colori di capelli e sono rimasta ingenua.

– Da dove nasce il tuo interesse per il Cosplay e qual’è stato il tuo primo costume?

Ho sempre amato i supereroi e i fumetti… da ragazzina partecipai a qualche fiera del fumetto vestendomi da personaggio dei manga.. solo con Wonder Woman ho fatto del cosplay una vera passione e lavoro.

– La tua Wonder Woman è davvero molto curata, quanto hai realizzato personalmente del tuo costume e cosa ti ha fatto scegliere proprio Lei?

Il primo costume e stato preso su internet. Il costume più serio è arrivato per caso dal titolare con cui lavoro per eventi e fiere, non stava a nessuno perché “tagliava sulle gambe”.

Alla fine sono arrivata io col mio 1m e 78 e mi andava perfetto. Quindi quel costume è nato per me!

Ho scelto lei ancora prima di diventare Wonder Woman a tutti gli effetti. Mi hanno sempre chiamata così! Sono indipendente, odio le ingiustizie, sono spontanea, e sincera… non ho bisogno di nessun uomo per cavarmela, nella vita e a livello economico mi sono sempre “fatta da sola”… pratico arti marziali da molti anni quindi sono abbastanza forte… poi quando ho visto per la prima volta il film ho pensato “sono proprio io”. E da lì è nato il mio cosplay.

– Scorrendo il tuo profilo di Instagram è facile trovare dei rifermenti al mondo DC Comics e Marvel, qual’è il tuo eroe preferito?

Il mio supereroe preferito è Captain America…  tanto che il mio gatto “capitano” si chiama Steve Rogers… Ma li amo un po’ tutti, incluso Thanos.

– Non possiamo non farti una domanda sui tattoo! Anche qui si nota molto la tua capacità di esprimere creatività. È una professione o qualcosa di più?

Disegno dall’età di 5 anni… con tempo e sacrifici sono riuscita a fare della mia passione il mio lavoro… tatuare è la fortuna più grande che ho, potermi mantenere facendo ciò per cui sono nata.

– Stai pubblicando anche moltissimi scatti di set fotografici. Cosplayer, tatuatrice, aggiungiamo anche modella?

Ho lavorato come modella dai 19 ai 24 anni prima di scoprire il mondo dei tatuaggi. Al momento per me è un lavoro “in più” nonché una passione per staccare dalla solita routine.

                   – Dove potremo incontrarti? Hai già in programma il prossimo evento a cui partecipare?

Per incontrarmi potete passare in studio (sono sempre li ahah).

Oppure in giro per l’Italia… a Luglio parteciperò a qualche evento nelle Marche…  Sono sempre in giro comunque! Quindi probabilmente mi troverete in viaggio su qualche treno!
