Eris is the Greek goddess of Strife, Discord , Chaos and Rivalry, a goddess who caused the smallest argument to erupt into more serious events, including war. She drives the conflicts and disputes of both gods and men. Though despised by the Olympians, they respected her power

Because of Eris' disagreeable nature she was the only goddess not to be invited to the wedding of Peleus and Thetis. When she turned up anyway and was refused admittance, she raged and threw a golden apple amongst the goddesses inscribed "To the fairest." Three laid claim to it--Hera, Aphrodite and Athena--and in their rivalry brought about the events leading up to the Trojan War.

Eris loved watching the arguments of others and whenever people feuded, argued or bickered, she was in the middle of it all. She created discord in marriages, causing distrust and disagreement between couples so that over time the love would be lost. She could make people resent someone else’s good skills or fortune and was always the first to instigate any argument.

Eris is viewed as a harsh goddess who enjoyed unhappiness and turmoil and although she never took sides in any argument, she happily witnessed the suffering of every person involved in it. Literally, she is constantly attempting to disrupt people's lives. But metaphorically, her role is that of a tester and constantly tests the mettle of the various characters whose path she disrupts.

She incarnates the idea of humankind's darker impulses. Eris challenges characters to either do better or succumb to their darker impulses.

despite her position , eris is a woman of her word. once she promises something , you can trust that she will keep it.

coming to the city , eris is currently the owner of the bar and she loves it. especially when drunk people start a fight. When zeus disappeared , eris couldn't help but to laugh as how people were reacting but she is honestly wary herself.

Thanatos has their whole body covered in tattoos. They started collecting them since they got to New York

Unlike their brother, Thanatos has trouble falling asleep. There are nights where they don't sleep at all. 

Thanatos favors senior citizens. Most of the humans they had befriended have been older. They are not fond of babies or children. 

BUG TW. Thanatos sees the beauty in death and since their full power of death has been taken since arriving in New York, they downsize it to taxidermy bugs. They had a whole collection of framed insects in their home.

ares followed zeus and hera shortly after they came to this realm and ever since has realized that humans never really needed an influence to fight each other.

he founded his private security company, it goes from small tasks of providing private security to businesses, all the way to high profile cases who require small tactical armies, he doesn’t ask questions just gets the client what they want. he often oversees high profile ops and personally trains his top officers.

ares has never wanted to fulfill his divine duties, he never meant to bring so much chaos and violence, he is tired of being the most hated of the gods, the one people only pray in their worst moments, if he could traded it all for a peaceful life he would.

HISTORY   ⸻

before there was anything, there was chaos and then darkness or ‘night’ and it was there that Nyx came to be . as shadowy figure, Nyx stood at the beginning of creation , Older than time itself , she is an an incredibly powerful divine being . so powerful and terrifying, that many Giants and Titans fear her . Yet , despite having the powers to overtake olympus itself and zeus , she was not interested in ruling or playing about childish games . instead , nyx devoted herself to her works , her children , and lover . 

each night Nyx would emerge from her cave within Tartarus would block out the light , bringing night and darkness to the world . The next morning Hemera would then emerge from Tartarus, and sweep away the darkness of night, and Nyx would return to her abode. Thus mother and daughter were never in the same place at the same time .

unlike the other gods and goddess , there were no known temples of Nyx . She was considered both too incorporeal and too unlike humans to have little care over what they did . which were true in some cases . Yet she heard some prayers that came to her during the night of those with murderous intent in hopes not to get captured or be discovered and often times would help . 

while she never cared about a change in life and didn't minded her life as it was , nyx only came to the city because of her children. making a name of her many companies , being a faceless powerhouse , nyx succeeded over the years and had become very influential . even in the underworld and darkest part where illicit dealings and business happens . she owns museum / an auction house to which you can always find her in . being its curator .

when zeus disappeared it was simply another Friday to her and continued on .   

HEADCANONS ⸻

nyx has a bad habit of not knowing boundaries or when things are appropriate . an example : nyx has taken off her clothes in front of people when asked by a friend to try something on at the store rather than go in the fitting room .

Nyx is powerful , so much so that even Zeus wouldn’t cross her. She’s both feared and respected as one should be given not only her role but how long she’s been around for . While not many of the gods and goddesses want to deal with her wrath ( which would take a lot to get her angry ) , contrary to popular belief  she’s also a calm and kind goddess . It all matters on how you act and behave . Nyx can be patient but only for so long until she eventually puts her foot down . ( basically : you fuck around , you're gonna find out . )

she has a vault/armory in which she can only enter , in that armory she holds / has been collecting many artifacts and objects such as ; the apple of discord , pandora's box , the golden fleece , the pelt of the Nemean lion , etc.
