My Photopainting of the day is named “Will You Be My Beaver” it’s full of love and laughter and light. The child who originally sculpted and painted this put so much emotion into the image. I felt it as son as I saw it. Love that exists in all creatures. Animals are no different in that they bond through love as energy beings. Children know intuitively and are free in expressing their impressions of life. This is a powerful reminder to me that we are all connected by being alive in the world. For those of you who know me, you will know that I LOVE butterflies and I couldn't miss the opportunity to photopaint one! Fortunately there was a 6th grader who has the same love that I do and he/she created this beautiful creature for us to enjoy. I came along years after they created it and I took a photo and made a piece of art out of another piece of art. Love is infectious and the greatest healing energy. ~Sai Baba "Pink Yarrow" is in my soul today and warming my heart. It's gentle colors invite my body to lean in and smell its sweet scent. My garden in Washington state was planted full of medicinal flowers, herbs and vegetables. It would bloom all spring, summer and into fall for some species. My family and I would cook and make a variety of healing recipes with these plants daily. I used them in many ways and they brought us pleasure and joy with their colors, tastes and sweet smells. Now that this garden is but a memory (we moved to Idaho 5 years ago) I am exploring my catalog of photographs and sharing my favorites with you.
