PRIME------

Top left mini comic: when extremely exhausted and stressed from a long battle. He sustains an injury during battle from an energy cannon but feels none of it. Turns out energy blasts all this time not having too much of an effect on him was because the heratige.

The group doodle: (the four of them hang out often) not much lore behind this except after transforming really often within short amount of time, he gets extra glowy. His skin is trying it's best to contain him. Rook is fully aware of what's happening while Ester and Rayona are amazed and concerned (when is anyone not when it comes to the watch bearer)

Bottom left: how he wouldve looked in full anodite form pre explosion in "the new dawn" finale.

Left full body: him after omniverse's finale. The image of his arm being all starry after reverting stuck with me and boom there's one of my most important headcannons(lmk if y'all wanna hear me blab about that one)

Mini thing below the fullbody is the pose he pulled trying to shield himself from the anihlarg explosion.

GWEN 10 AU------

Right full body:more turquoise color when calmer or not brimming with energy. The large star shape on the chest indicates a young anodite hybrid who awakened rather aggressively. Blasting their very form to smitherines abruptly.

Right top corner: color potential palettes. High energy. Being a full anodite in this au he toys around with the normal limits of his humanoid anodite form. This freaks out ppl.

Him and Julie before he lost his skin during the highbreed finale in alien force.

All the anodites in their fulls.

- Verdona is magenta and has a hints of teal. She's the least humanoid in appearence. She's got spikey bits of mana protecting her around her shoulders and occasionally anywhere else she seems nice at that moment.

- Sunny is indigo and is little more humanoid sporting curved horns since she thinks they're cute and can add dangly jewelry.she has a wrap like skirt that blends into her not really there legs. She has floating solid shapes of mana circling around her neck.

- Gwen the most humanoid teal one. She has double layer of horns that appear like cat ears. She's the only one to have inherited the dual color from verdona. She can be spotted with a lion like tail at times.

- Ben the green one with short horns. He's somewhat humanoid like Gwen but leans more into things he thinks are cool. He plays with his form alot. Has a jellyfish like poncho and coils. Sometimes has ribbon like arms instead.

Verdona(and her sister for sunny)passed down mermaid/aquatic like traits(Gwen's ripples like water/Sunnys mermaid like legs/ Ben's jellyfish traits and all three having webbed hands.) plus a heart like facial markings,Though it's reversed on Sunny.

So how did the other Ben's deal with their respective Zy'Skayrs? Like has Ben 23 dealt with him?

For all the Alt Bens their story with Zs'skayr depends on what Zs'skayr is up to in their timeline. I can sum up ideas I would have for alt Zs'skayr in each timeline

-Gwen 10- He's basically the same as the prime timeline, but now Gwen has to deal with him, sadly.

-Ben 23- Zy'skayr 23 never got into the omnitrix, instead he's been in a constant war/fight with Vilgax and his empire. I mentioned elsewhere that Vilgax 23 is just a dude trying to run his kingdom, so here he is expanding his empire against someone no one really likes, hoping to take control of the Anur System and help it in his own way. Of course, Zy'skayr does not like that one bit.

-Ben 10k- Similar to his Vilgax, he killed Zy'skayr a long while ago, another situation where a villain pushed things too far. Though thankfully not to the same degree as Vilgax had.

-No Watch- With no omnitrix, Zs'skayr mostly spent his time trying to cure his boredom elsewhere, and partly running his kingdom. He did have an encounter with this timeline's version of Azmuth, and loves to bring it up to rub it in his face.

-Omni Ben- Zs'skayr's escape from the watch was a little more complicated, and he knows he can't exactly possess Ben easily due to him being the omnitrix itself. But he finds Omni Ben to be fascinating, seeing how even a piece of tech can become so alive. He loves to see how Ben ticks, even via unpleasant means.

-Jen 10- The same as his prime counterpart, but now a female called Zs'feear. Still an awful being.

-Julie 10- Being that his timeline from escaping the watch happens during their version of the hybrid war, he tries to turn the tables in his favor by corrupting some DNAs and even a couple of highbreeds with corrodium. He also loves to torment Julie regarding her kindness and soft side.

-Sentient Omnitrix & Ben- Zs'skayr finds the whole thing interesting, and finds entertainment having discussions with the Omnitrix, finding ways to push her buttons. He knows very well she would be willing to kill him, but enjoys walking on the thin line.

-Rooters Ben- There was an entire situation where Zs'skayr infiltrated the Rooters, and it has left him as being high on the Rooters' hunting list. But he always finds a way to escape, living out in the Null Void to spread his own influence.

-Eon- Like everyone in his timeline, dead.

-Bad Ben- A soft, kind, and wandering ectonurite, having never fit in his monstrous planet of people, failing to keep them under his ruling as he didn't have it in him. He tried to possess Ben and the watch in hopes to gain power to do the right thing.

-Mad Ben- The Anur System got taken over by Vilgax a long while ago, but Zs'skayr slipped through the cracks and now wanders, doing his own thing, engaging with the chaos around him. While he does miss being king, he's not burdened enough to do much about it beyond screwing with Vilgax wherever he goes.

-Negative Ben- He decided to help Azmuth, becoming one of his assistance during the creation of the omnitrix, though it was clear he wasn't a great person either. Something sinister with him going behind the scenes, seeming to prefer using words to mentally mess with people, including Ben.

-Benzarro- Fused with Ben during a possession attempted gone wrong. He still calls himself Zs'skayr, but it's clear it's not exactly him anymore. Having a mix of him and Ben's personalizes.

-Malware Ben- Ben went to Zs'skayr once in a desperate attempt to try and get help removing Malware, and while Zs'skayr decided to give it a go due to being amused by Ben's pleading, he didn't calculate on Malware just storing him back into the omnitrix with high security measures in place.

-Forever Knight Ben- He watches the Knights and Vilgax's empire at war with each other, along with others involved, and does a lot of puppeting behind the scenes. He rarely shows himself, and people didn't know how involved he was for a long while.

-Fusion Ben- He is stuck within Ben's fusion, and has been trying to escape for a long while, however it seems his background influence makes things worse for him and Ben.

-Ultra Ben- It seems he's gone into hiding since catching word of Ben killing many of his villains, no one knows where he went, though there have Ben rumors and people thinking they see him, with Ben often investigating.

-Light Magic Ben- Something old, something clearly not a normal alien, Zs'skayr seems to be something similar to Dagon, but strangely there are no books or writing on him anywhere. He just merely exists, living in the shadows of Ledgerdomain.

I remember this one Omniverse Rewrite actually managed to keep things more in line with Alien Force AND worked in the "Plumbers' Kids are genetically augmented" retcon.

The TLDR is that the Plumbers' Kids were STILL half alien, and the product of Plumber/Alien Marriages, buuut because of biochemical barriers (particularly that one kid whose other parent was part of Heatblast's species), they had to resort to gene splicing in order to produce children. Particularly in cases where having kids the traditional way would've been physically impossible (aforementioned kid who's half human/half LIVING FIRE).

Honestly the discord was JUST talking about this.

Tbh I think the problem was less about the debate on whether those kids could've come from Human/Alien relationships or gene splicing and more the....

The making it some whole scrapped sleeper agent plot with implanted memories and all that.

So I had some ideas for my rewrite of the Ring's of Hell... geography wise... but your idea for the rings of Hell/circles is very interesting and your ideas are very fascinating tbh

the rewrite: Hell's geography exists as a distinct dimension situated beneath the Mortal Plane, known as the Human Hellaverse Realm. Protected by a block of eldritch entites/matter/dead stuff and dead stars, dark matter and asteriods (idk about this though) This underworld structure resembles a funnel or an inverted cone, comprising seven progressively smaller realms organized into seven concentric levels or rings. These rings lead down to a rift that serves as a gateway into the Abyss, described as an infinite, turbulent sea within the Omniverse, representing the primal dimension of this vast cosmic reality. The transitions between the rings are not merely physical; they entail shifts across existential planes, acting as conduits that facilitate travel for denizens using Hellavators to move between the different levels.

These infernal express elevators are a luxury reserved for the privileged few. Sinners, the general denizens of Hell, are firmly rooted in their designated rings. Only with the express permission of a Sin or the elite Lucifer Clan can they hope to obtain a travel clearance, a permit rarely granted and fiercely coveted. Centuries of wear and tear on the infernal express elevators have taken their toll. The immense pressure from the rings above has fractured the crust between them, creating a network of treacherous tunnels. These cracks, invisible to the untrained eye, offer a desperate escape route for some sinners. Driven by the allure of a better life or fleeing hardships like Valentino's exploitation in Pride, they embark on a perilous journey through the "tunnels."

The safest passage comes at a steep price. Shady hellborn, often from Greed, have mapped their own routes, acting as guides or selling these maps for exorbitant sums. They exploit the desperation of sinners, charging outrageous fees for potentially incomplete information. Most, however, brave the tunnels alone or in small groups. The uncharted labyrinth swallows them whole, offering a chance of escape but no guarantee of reaching their desired destination. They might even find themselves back where they started, their hearts crushed.

This is only rudimentary I may add more things later tho

This sounds super interesting!! I love the funnel structure/cosmology a lot. Especially the portal/rift at the bottom. Not sure if it is an allusion to Inferno where Dante goes to the bottom of hell and ends up in purgatory? (I really like Inferno's set up of hell can you tell? haha)

Hellavators are rad and I like the lore you set up with tunnels, I feel like there is a lot to explore there. It sounds like you've really thought through the tunnels and how hell's society would interact and react to them. Have you thought about what kinds of caves you'd base them off of or if they would differ between layers?

Chaos at Keystone

Hey Tumblr, Kori here!! @vivianinkwell and I are finally working out an actual plotline and background for our crazy universe-hopping lesbibis. So here's the rundown: The forces of Order are stifling the birth of new universes, strangling all of reality in the pursuit of perfection. Chaos has chosen its champions.

Those champions are:

Kyaru Auel, the Wanderer of the Worlds. Sometimes goes by its human name, Kori Cyfrin, and is known as Ember or Akíse by close friends and family. Kyaru is skilled at finding information and items, stories and souls to join the cause. It has a passion for collecting knowledge and sharing interesting tidbits. A member of the Sía Akara, Kyaru labored under the impression that it was the last of its kind for quite some time. However, upon meeting Champion Zaya Animi, it learned it was not alone after all.

Zaya Animi, the Soul's Awakener. A technopath hell-bent on meddling with OOC (the Order guys) tech and generally being a nuisance. Can create sentient machines with her Gift, the Spark of Life, but uses this power sparingly as it is significantly draining.

Vivian Inkwell, the Holy Mechanic. The creator of the god-machine Inkwell, a wondrous machine that can rewrite reality, bringing back what the OOC has tried to Expunge, summoning forth new worlds, patching the frayed threads of the Omniverse. Wonderful, but deadly should it fall into the wrong hands. She guards it zealously.

Alecto Tenebris/Hakano e Tarai, the Shadow's Guardian. Commonly called Alecto or Tarai, he is the protector of maligned and mistreated young souls, keeping them safe from further harm and teaching them to defend themselves against any who would try to erase them again.

Kzael, Archfae of the Wild Places. Sometimes known as Mother Crimson for her parental tendencies toward the Champions and others, Kzael is a fierce and cunning warrior, coming from the deep wild places to ensure there's some wilderness left.

And many more to come!

Now, the OOC. The "Office for Omniversal Cooperation" puts on a nice public face - they just want to help you, protect you, swaddle you up safely.. Yet many fail to realize they're smothering the very worlds they claim they wish to help. (More on these guys once we solidify their lore)

Do Ben's parents know from the start that their teenage son has gotten into the hero business again? If so, what do they think of him having 14 Necrofriggian children?

I like to think that Sandra's grandma instincts are activated right away when she meets the Baby Chills.

Since I made it in the rewrite that they know the truth by Race Against Time, they are aware of when he starts up again at the start of AF. They're very unsure at first, but with Grandpa Max and Xylene missing, and eventually Kenneth, they have to have faith in their son figuring out what's going on. They're at least comfortable enough once learning the Plumbers are backing up Ben and he won't be entirely alone. And they do not know about the baby chills are first, mostly because Ben wasn't sure if he'd ever see them again given the nature of how necrofriggins live their life cycle. I'm not entirely sure about the ages idk anymore

I want to keep ben's OV outfit cuz I actually like it a little but it's more of an alternate outfit he would wear just like star's from svtfoe, similar to rex's (omg I still haven't decided what color it would be lol) (honestly I originally not gonna give rex an alt outfit but I ended up liking it)

Here are some of my (ben 10) rewrites I had in my head for now

I don't think ben really I mean really cannot take the omnitrix (it misses the point of the idea of a kid wielding a powerful weapon and unable to take it off it so has no choice to look after them imo) I feel he wouldn't use it in his 13-14 yrs that much than he used to until the events of alien force

I'm not gonna give ben the ultimatrix, I'm sorry man I don't really like it's idea and it's way too gimmicky and nothing else, also it just adds the fact that the omnitrix can easily be removed

his personality is a mix with alien force and omniverse, a goofball at heart but he's serious when he needs to

I'm not gonna include alien x into the roster, idk I find it weird that ben just casually had this ultra powerful thing and it just adds the fact that cn just power creeping ben and it's so ehhh, he never really had an earned character development god mode just like rex just cn just refused him to, I find it weird that this omnipotence ass alien that can wrap reality has dna and anodites don't have for some reason, (they probably want gwen to be special) my point is I don't like alien x

but there's this headcanon I find where ben's actually had the anodite heritage but the omnitrix suppresses it for the transformation and also, I really like this idea idk

I really don't have any rewrite with gen rex, since I'm really content with the main canon, but I'm still sad that we won't have more content cuz rex's powers and lore is really interesting

I miss this book, and this version of Jakita Wagner (the young lady speaking with Batman). I did NOT like how she was portrayed in the most recent series of The Outsiders, which attempted to be a DC Universe version of Planetary.

Then again, I am - and always have been - completely against the integration of the Wildstorm universe and its characters into the mainstream DC Universe. The Multiverse/Omniverse is back; let them reside on their own Earth again.

How I feel about this character

I love Gwen! I think she's an excellent supporting character. I loved seeing her grow from the OG to Omniverse. By OV, Gwen has really settled in and found herself, and it's nice to see her happy :)

All the people I ship romantically with this character

Just the main three, really — Kevin, Ben, and Charmcaster. Shipping Gwen and Lucy is also fun! I've seen some cute Gwen/Julie stuff, but most people just ship them in a "pair the spares" way in the background of their Bevin UAF rewrite, so I can't say that I necessarily ship Gwen and Julie just because I haven't seen too much that's actually focused on them.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Definitely Ben! I would cut off an arm for more episodes like "Catch a Falling Star," where it's just Ben and Gwen going on a mission together. Ben and Gwen seemed attached at the hip after that summer road trip, I'd love to have seen more about how Gwen leaving for college affected Ben and their relationship overall.

My unpopular opinion about this character

That I think a Gwen-focused show would be boring as fuck. There's so much room for world-building when it comes to magic in Ben 10, but Gwen has very little room for growth as a character. She's already basically perfect. I think it was for the best that she was mostly kept to the side in UAF, because even her centric episodes that are supposed to show how hard her life is still end with Gwen pulling everything off perfectly. ("It's Not Easy Being Gwen," my beloathed. Ugh.)

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon

I would have loved to see Gwen struggle more. Ooh, or gotten some more details on how being an Anodite affects her magic vs Charmcaster's. I want to see Gwen go ape shit more often. I think her willingness to murder people for fucking with her loved ones is one of her strongest character traits.
