Heyo! Sorry that it took me so long to get to this, but I was genuinely struggling with inspiration on what to do! Considering my brain has been full of nothing but my Marvel/Disney Crossover, and MySims but I finally do have inspiration.

Especially after our chat where you told me it was chill if I did an AU so I’d like to introduce you all to an AU of mine! It’s known as the Fairywood AU, and it’s this AU where basically there’s this city of humans and it’s surrounded on all sides by a giant forest.

And in this forest, there exists magical creatures that are straight out of Fairy Tales like families of anthropomorphic animals, witches and wizards who live in odd homes, and other things.

Humans don’t like the Fairy Tale creatures though because “Ew! It’s different!” so a lot of the time, Fairy Tale creatures attempt to rescue more open minded people from the city. Knowing they’ll be in danger if their views are found out about.

But before I start to ramble too much, let’s get into it. Shall we?

Living in this town has never been too pleasant, you grew up in a city surrounded by large fortified walls. So tall that they cast a shadow over so much. Day consistently feels so much more like night.

Watching the soldiers in their Red Hoods head out everyday to guide wagons, merchants, and caravans from one city to another is some of your only entertainment.

You hang out by the gate when there’s nothing better to do. Watching the Red Hoods bring in and guide out all sorts of things. A few times, you’ve even had to help unload a few wagons for your job.

Always unaware that something is out there in the trees. Watching you, but not with malice or a want to hurt you or anything like that. Eyes watch you with a want to take you away from the human city, to care for you like you were one of theirs.

Sometimes these eyes can’t help, but see you as younger than you are. Toddling about and being forced to unload these heavy burdens whenever your work calls for it. How much crueler can humans be? Making a baby work like that…

Truly heartless… You clearly need to be rescued from this place, but what can they do? They can’t enter the human city to find you, too dangerous…

Soon though, the chance of a lifetime is had and your boss tells you that you’ll be heading out with a wagon. Transporting goods to another location in another city.

You’re a little nervous, but still! You get to do something that breaks the boredom!

A few days later, you’re on the front of a wagon going through the wilderness. Two guards in Red Hoods trailing on either side. You breathe in the fresh air out here, no pollution. It’s lovely.

Meanwhile in the trees, you have no idea what’s lurking, multiple eyes watching from deep in the trees. Barely repelled by the herbs that the Red Hoods carry on them. This is their chance to take their baby away from these horrible people, and they can’t waste it.

All they need to do is to wait for the right opportunity to swoop in, and they have it when a wheel on the wagon breaks. Courtesy of a poorly drawn rock from Kanjuro that the Red Hoods were sure wasn’t there a second ago.

You get down to try, and fix it with one of the Red Hoods while the other stands guard. This allows for the perfect tone to strike as monsters suddenly rush from the trees.

Judging by the looks of them, they’re all Kitsune’s too. High level monsters that they are nowhere near equipped to properly fight.

They show absolutely no mercy with the two Red Hoods, they’re down for the count without any trouble. You could try to escape horseback, but the horses pulling the wagon are freed via a powerful paw strike by Kin’emon.

Suddenly you find yourself staring down what can only be a pack of kitsune’s, it’s like wolves but honestly you’d prefer those right now.

You try to back up, hoping to run, but you wind up slipping and falling. You let out a yelp as your arm bangs against the wagon on the way down, you’re pretty sure that you’re absolutely doomed. Especially when one of the Kitsune’s rushes towards you.

You close your eyes tightly only to feel not teeth sinking into your neck, but gentle fur against your arm? You crack open one eye and see Toki checking your arm to see how bad it is

Confusion comes over you as you watch this. Even more confusion when the Toki licks the injury, and nuzzles against your cheek as if she just gave it a “magic” pain go away kiss.

The comfort doesn’t last long before the most intimidating of the pack, or rather the skulk, approaches. Oden. He reaches over you, and sinks his teeth into the back of your shirt before lifting you. Toki quickly pointing out how half of you still drags on the ground.

You can’t understand them of course so all you hear is Kitsune noises, before Oden grunts and tosses you into the air and lets you land on his back.

And once you’re secure, the Kitsune’s don’t waste any time as they rush off back into the woods. You aren’t entirely sure where they’re taking you, but you don’t dare to get off of Oden’s back. You tried at one point, and immediately got growled at and put right back on Oden’s back.

They carried you for what felt like hours, part of you wondered if they were lost. The other part wondered if they were just taking you out here to make sure no one would ever find you. However no part of you wondered why they didn’t take anything from the wagon. You did have bigger things to worry about.

Soon after what feels like hours, you finally arrive at wherever they’re taking you. Which is their home, and it’s only here that they finally turn back into their normal human forms. Well human esque. They still have tails and ears.

Oden is holding you in his arms as he reassures you that it’s okay now, they have you now. You’re safe, you’re home. And those evil humans will never force you to work like that ever again. You can go back to doing normal baby things.

You might try to point out how you’re actually an adult, but none of them listen as you’re carried inside of their home. And once that door closes, there’s no going back ever.

This family of Kitsune’s start treating you like a baby, you’re bigger than all of the kids in this family yet they act as if you’re younger than them. No matter how much you try to insist either that you’re big, and that you’re a grown up. It’s all brushed off as a tantrum, or an active imagination.

You still remember being lifted up by Toki who just cooed at you after you got incredibly worked up, she said that you were so fussy. It clearly must be time for a nap.

A nice long one in your crib, or on a soft blanket laid out on the floor with Toki in her Kitsune form. Wrapped around you, and tails acting as a fluffy blanket. It’s so weirdly comfortable especially when your siblings, Momo and Hiyori join in. Perhaps a short nap wouldn’t hurt.

No one questions why you don’t have a Kitsune form, and they all brush it off you try to point it. Acting like you’re just babbling.

You might try to escape multiple times, but there’s no hope especially as it appears like the door gets bigger everyday. You don’t understand why at all… Is the house getting bigger?

No… You’re just getting smaller, and smaller with every day… You just don’t notice… Something in you keeps you from noticing…

Maybe it’s the fact that those around you act like nothing is wrong so perfectly that you just don’t? Or perhaps there’s a magical reason? I’m sure if you tried hard enough then you’d realize.

Wait, wait, wait… Was that chair always that big? And was walking always this hard? It… It wasn’t, right?

No, no… It wasn’t, you used to be able to walk just like the grown up’s do, but you were a grown up too… Right…? Right! You were! So clearly somethings wrong, but what is-?

“Oh my little fox kit! Come over here to Mama!”

Whatever you were thinking can wait as Mama’s calling you, you didn’t even realize that your stomach was growling. You let yourself be fed by her, but I’ll let you decide if it’s bottle feeding or nursing.

As the days pass on as well, you find the things that the adults around you do more and more interesting. Tummy time on a nice comfy blanket in your favorite pajamas while you watch Raizo practice his ninja arts. Or watching Okiku and Izou sit and have a conversation about adult topics that you can no longer wrap your head around for the life of you.

Oh Ashura is chopping down a tree for firewood as Winter’s on its way? Thank goodness that you don’t have to do that, right? I mean you’re so small! You can’t even transform into your Kitsune Form yet! You won’t have to help out with that for a long time.

Every day your memories of your big life become more and more faded to you. You were in the human village? What’s a human? And every day, your body gets smaller and smaller as well.

But that’s okay, your family is here with you. They have you, and you’re safe here. Safe to grow up, safe to be a baby, safe to be their baby.

No humans will ever force you to work yourself into never ending boredom, or exhaustion ever again like that. Seriously, what cruel beings they were for doing something like that…

But no matter, you’re here now and they know you won’t leave them to go back to that. Especially when you grow a tail of your own and a pair of soft fluffy Fox ears on top of your head. There’s no going back now. Not now or ever.

You’re a Kozuki Kitsune now. Just like your Mama Toki, your Papa Oden, your big siblings, and your entire family. How you were always meant to be in their opinion.

I hope this is okay.. I sort of think Dazai would be on the older side, whereas Sanji would just be itty bitty. I'M JUST GONNA.. Babble about what I think they're interactions would he like. They're so cute..

Dazai would also ABSOLUTELY show Sanji cat videos. They'd spend just hours scrolling through YouTube and Dazai letting Sanji just go at it with kitty videos..

They'd probably bond over the fishiness, (Dazai the mackerel and Sanji with the all blue..)

Sanji would probably try and cook for him, because even if he's small he can't help but want others to be happy and fed.

Dazai would be the customer and Sanji would cook food for him (in his fake kitchen playset of course because OBVIOUSLY Nami has spoiled that boy to the moon and back) and Dazai puts on a whole show of eating the food.

Very dramatic, and eager to entertain those who are littler than him. (Though sometimes he gets itty bitty too and him and Sanji are tiny together!)

I'd like to think their caregivers (in my head Kuni is Dazai's caregiver, and Luffy is Sanji's) would get along to an extent.. But when you take into consideration Luffy's over the top nature and Kunikida's need for organization they might clash a little!!

But they'd still get along I think, because Luffy is good at getting people on his side!!

Bonding over their slightly emotionally unstable boys.. 🎀

Nami never got the chance to draw pictures as a kid, always having to focus on creating nothing but maps. So when's she's regressed she's always found coloring or drawing on any spare sheet of paper she can get her hands on.

She was given a sketch book as a gift from Usopp, but before that she used to ask to draw in his notebook.

A couple of Sanji’s recipe sheets, a page or two in Chipper’s medical notes, and one of robin’s paper bookmarks all have small doodles on them due to the regressor.

Franky and Zoro have had to be the ones to stop her multiple times from attempting to draw on the walls of the ship and to stop Luffy from encouraging the regressor.
