🌸Spring Gyutaro Headcanons🌸

This will be my second Headcanon thread and I want to make it a series; Seasonal Headcanons and such. So, these are my specific headcanons for Gyutaro during the springtime.

-This will contain (x Reader) but not all will be

- Is vague enough to be either romantic or platonic

Spring is Gyutaro's comeback season: Out of all the seasons, he seems to enjoy Spring a lot, especially when he was a human. More food was available around that time like fresh berries and more animals to hunt. It wasn't he most fruitful season but after winter, anything was great.

Gyutaro is the most active during Spring: After being so inactive during Winter, Gyutaro is itching to hunt and kill. Especially since his sister was doing most of the work in winter! Now he has to put in work to kill many humans.

He loves the rain: The rain and the smell it brings makes him relaxed, it calms him. The rain and the sounds disguise his movements as he wafts through the area. He feels content walking in the rain because no one ever detects him.

The newly sprouting flowers remind him of Ume: The newly sprouted flowers, the cherry blossoms especially. Gyutaro sees his baby sister as a small petite flower that he has to protect. When they were humans, he used to gift these cherry blossoms to her and her eyes would gleam bright!

His smell is still bearable: Just like winter, his stench hasn't crept up to kill us all. With frequent spring showers and the cool weather, his body seems to be doing fine among the fragrances of the sweet-smelling flowers. He doesn't notice it, but his sister surely does.

He hunts more aggressively now: Since the hard times have passed, he goes off on more killing sprees, and it's hard to avoid him when it's time! He may go for women since they seem to be so much prettier during this time of the year. He can't stand a pretty face; after all, Ume is the only pretty face he cares for and she can't have competition

You can catch him out at night: Since it's warming up, some people have found this demon lurking in the shadows. If one is lucky enough, they can find him on rooftops surveying the people below... If the timing is right, he might not kill you and let you live. misery loves company after all...

( This series isn't based on Rasshu x Gyutaro for the most part, most Gyutaro stans are really sweet so its based off of those shy sweet peeps even tho I know they won't see this cuz Tumblr be damned... some will though~ )

Had to put my mini couple in the game I've been stuck on for a few months!

Gyutaro is a cranky villager, while Rasshu is a special villager who appears every two weeks (She runs a pawn shop on Harv's island).

(Hidden Lore) - Rasshu can occasionally fall on a nearby villager when you shake her out of a tree. - Gyutaro is 40% more likely to have fleas than other villagers - Gyutaro is only out in the mornings, evenings, and nights. - Rasshu can be hiding in the water so you can catch, trembling trees, and buried item holes. (Isabell will talk about this)

[Gyutaro Gone Fishing] 🎣 Self x OC SFW Fic

This is just a small self inserted story based around my own personal hobbies. Nothing too flashy coming from Rasshu… just retirement vibes.

Foggy roads stretch miles ahead as a set of lowly lit beams shine just above the black asphalt. The quiet hum of a soothing engine follows closely behind the crunch gravel parting beneath the tires of the SUV. The birds weren’t even awake to sing their good mornings as the car hummed alone the country path. Alone together… a couple headed to a spot of seclusion and calm.

Gyutaro shifted in the passenger while he snuck the cigarette smoke out the cracked window, it was the only way “she” would allow him to enjoy his sickening smog after all. And behind the leather wheel was her; a punked out girl with the bronze skin. She eyed the road as her phone played one of those new trendy songs on repeat, with Gyutaro humming the annoyingly catchy tune begrudgingly.

The road went on for hours on end until Rasshu came nearly to a halt, just to make a sharp turn down a thin dirt road. Gyutaro barely could stabilize himself as his forehead knocked against the window he was spewing out smoke into but Rasshu held in her chuckle for his sake. Carefully creeping the large vehicle down the dirt slope, she finally pulled up to the place… a wide river coated with fog and mossy dead trees.

Gyutaro never really went fishing, he was more of the hunting type if anything. He never understood how people like Rasshu could even fathom sitting at the waters edge for absolutely nothing to happen. But then and again, Gyutaro did much of the same thing depending on some of his hunts in the past. Either way, Rasshu managed to finagle her way into getting him today and Gyutaro could be as enthusiastic as a rock for all he cared.

Popping the trunk open; the two slowly unloaded all of their gear with Rasshu taking the lead, explaining every little minuet tool that she could. It was Gyutaro’s first time but eventually they were done, plopping down comfortably in folding chairs. Finally, whipping the rod out, Rasshu swiftly baited her hook as she lassoed her string out into the foggy waters!

Turning her head to see a struggling Gyutaro, he had his string tangled around his rod and himself before even a few minutes passed. He was far from a careful man, clumsy even. Careful unhooking the golden hook from his shoulder, Rasshu’s hands follow the strings path while Gyutaro’s strained blue eyes followed in suite. In minutes, he was finally free! Standing up to get leverage, Gyutaro hunches instinctively as he focuses his reel-less rod. Trying to get the bobber into the water, just to end up in the cluster of trees above him!

A quiet pause hits as the party looks at the string wrap around the branch looking like a birds nest and then… a roar erupts from the aggressor of a man as his hands grasp at the tangled mess!

Gyutaro: GOD FUCKING DAMNIT- HOW DID THIS SHIT EVEN DO THIS? I DIDN’T EVEN SWING THE DAMN ROD! GNAAH DA-

Rasshu: Gyutaro Gyutaro! Its ok! This happens. Its literally your first time damnit! Sit ya ass down! You’re tangling it more, i’ll handle it 💢

Gyutaro: Gnh… go ahead then…

Looking through his annoyed crouch of shame, the grouchy man looks at the woman struggle to even reach the string nest. So letting out a sigh, Gyutaro gets up, swiping the clippers from Rasshu’s hand. Mimicking a steady hand, Gyutaro snips the line, wincing at his own broken pride. Sitting back down on his chair, he looked at the bare pole in his hands while Rasshu rummaged in her tackle box. Pulling out a spool of fishing line, Gyutaro watched carefully as Rasshu tied intricate knots on the tip of the pole, attaching a new shiny bobber, a hook, and a dot weight! Good as new!

Gyutaro’s age is 126 and 26 as a human (his age got confused with Daki's so people think he’s 13 but that was fixed in the anime)

WHAT IF… (Akaza met Rasshu)

With Rasshu being a hashira that lacks the 6th sense to feel demons around her and/or locate them until its too late. They would most likely never meet. But thats only because of Akaza’s efforts to avoid the evasive little shit. So here are the reasons why they wouldn’t meet.

Rasshu is considered to be Gyutaro’s among the demons that DO know about her. Though she would instantly abstain against a status like that, she is a human and many demons mostly view them as lower life forms. (Thats means if a Demon that knew of Rasshu’s status with Gyutaro still killed her, it would be a sign of disrespect and taboo)

Akaza has a weird moral about killing women so even if he cared very little about Gyutaro, he would often avoid or apprehend the pesky lady.

Rasshu is a kill on sight hashira even if she understands demons were once human. This trait becomes more prominent when she becomes connected with Gyutaro as she feels the need to repent by killing more demons than usual. (Akaza wouldn’t die to her though, he would break her other sword and trap her)

Heres the alternative story.

As a seasoned warrior skilled in evasion and spy tactics, Rasshu was recently sent by Daichi to explore a recently discovered plot of land that could have direct connections to Muzan. After a few days of searching, Rasshu once again stumbles on that familiar mansion she stumbled upon so long ago. Though the exterior was different it was the infinity castle, she knew it deep down. But by the time she got to the doors, a toned man called to the hashira from the trees above. Akaza, with glaring eyes, stared at the hashira below and asked her of her origins. She was known for meshing with demons aura as hers blended in naturally but Akaza, he locates through a beings spirit. Feeling the fighting passion within that every hashira wields. He jumps down from the tree tops as the massive mansion they stood before vanishes. This was a setup to kill off any hashira that was sent to scout this accursed area! Brandishing her katanas, she sneers at the demon ready to battle but his face shifts at the sight of her stance. Hes not here to fight her specifically…

Akaza: Hashira… I have to admit, you put on a hefty show… but your passion is merely non existent! Why don’t you just run off and count yourself lucky to be alive.

Rasshu: Do you actually believe that Im that dense? To believe that you wont fight me? A hashira? To believe you’d let me live. What the hell are you trying to pull…

Akaza: don’t you see… you are weak. So weak that I refuse to believe that you are a threat to anyone! Take a look at yourself! Small, fragile, relying on TOOLS instead of embracing inner strength!

Rasshu: Demons never fail to piss me off with their logic… I have no time for this…

Swiftly shifting her arms, the hashira bolts towards the demon and swings for his exposed neck! With a jarring clash, Akaza swings upwards towards the katana, jutting it up into the air. Quickly while one weapon is out if her reach, Akaza grabs her other hand and twists it behind her back. Knowing who Rasshu truly is, if she was to ever get harmed by his actions, the upper moon sixes would never forgive him. So with quick thinking, he side swipes her legs and places one foot on her back to keep her down. He could summon Gyutaro to take her somewhere, or he could straddle her trapped until someone finds her. Either way, Akaza rips her satchel off of her knowing that she wont be happy with either result.

(Lets just say, Akaza doesn’t kill Rasshu but he the one that would catch the slimy hashira sneaking around with the demon’s information! He’s not particularly nice about catching her either)

(P.S. Im not a huge Akaza nerd so i dont know how accurate his battles with ladies would be so this was my best alternative)

(Rasshu Benaio Demon Story Paths)

Rasshu benaio (self insert) as a demon will perpetually be a tad bit weaker than her OG human counterpart but her blood demon art is stronger than the Human counterpart’s final gambit like attack since it’s technically a nerfed blood art.

Basic Demon stats

Name: Rasshu Benaio

Rank: LowerMoon 3 or lower

Age: 30-100

BDA: (Demonic Fangs) Rasshu uses her body to force out heated fangs so her attacks can be enhanced with demonic power.

Last Stand - she focus herself and does one straight foward and powerful attack. This move is easily dodged but it causes environmental damage that can hurt others nearby.

Fierce Fanged Fury - A super fast chain of mediocre attacks where Rasshu violently attacks the opponent using her fangs. Each time she gets hit, she gets faster until the move runs out.

Evaluating Light - Rasshu sucks in all of her blades to generate the sharpest one she can. Then she quietly and quickly slices through the opponent, leaving them with a burning sensation. This slice is so fast that a red light is left behind her blade’s trail.

Harrowing Havoc - A final gambit like attack where she forces out all of her demonic powers into a last ditch effort. This attack is on par with an upper moon 5 power level but her body will burn up after this move. This attack is embedded with a lion like jaws that also do damage if hit by.

The different Demon Paths 🗯️

- Good End (after everything…): This begins during Rasshu’s final battle with Gyutaro in the AU where she is about to die. When she falls unconscious in his arms, Gyutaro’s blood slips into her fatal wounds and she becomes a demon by accident. Neither of them wanted this to happen so she abandoneds her old life as a hashira and lives with Gyutaro for a bit, even finding out that Daki is a demon. Her demon transformation is kept a secret from the other demons for as long as they can. During this time, Rasshu has eaten a few humans but she ends up revisiting the two demons that saved her a while ago to seek help. She ends up finding out ways to avoid eating humans and she finds out that she can eat other things to grow gradually. After some time, she returns to the Demon Slayer Corps but specifically to Daichi and Sakonji. Daichi is happy to see Rasshu alive regardless of her new form. Rasshu actually makes Sakonji swear to her that if she somehow becomes a threat, he must kill her. After that, she moves off elsewhere to continue her hashira work in secret but she does get caught by an uppermoon eventually. She gets murdered but she doesn’t mention Gyutaro or Daki to keep them safe so it makes it seem like, some random demon transformed her by accident.

- Neutral End (Rouge end): In this route, Rasshu lost the 1st fight against Gyutaro and he forced her to become a demon due to a secret infatuation. She felt hints of it but it left as soon as she became a demon. She ran away from Gyutaro and she ran from civilization in general. After her disappearance, the Demon Slayer corps announced her as dead and held a funeral. She lived in solitude to avoid any problems but Gyutaro did know her location most of the time. When her leader died soon after, she found out and became depressed and enraged which resulted in a dire switch in her mindset. She began to eat humans so she could be strong enough to eat demons. She eventually ran into Gyutaro physically and tried to end him but he was always too strong… her persistence got her killed by him or another demon she tried to kill.

- Bad End (Muzan end): Either Gyutaro/Douma/Muzan turned her into a demon and with her weird birth defect, it allows Rasshu as a demon to not completely die in the sunlight instantly. She can still be beheaded and killed in other ways but because of this specific trait, Muzan keeps her confined in the infinite castle with no escape and no demon interaction. Gyutaro will probably be punished or killed for his secrecy but either way, he will ultimately be banned from seeing or interacting with Rasshu. Muzan probably announced her to be dead to keep her survival a secret. He technically uses her as another option to further his research “How to survive in sunlight”. Most likely, the only demons who know of her survival and bleak outcome would be Muzan and Nakime. Rasshu will probably parish due to one of Muzan’s experiments or she’ll be killed off if Muzan cant extract any use from her. In this route, Rasshu is horrendously weak due to confinement and lack of eating.
