Hello all! It's @pleasantspark and @satansboot! Today we're bringing you, REHAB RESORTS (Patent pending)

What is this?

This is a full scale redesign and rewrite for Vivienne Medrano's Hazbin Hotel series while separating from it, that means replacing any characters and OG Storylines with personal creations.

Do you need anyone on the team?

Well we do need artists and or writers, we do got an artist (offsite) but they only want to be referred to as Cane. For simplicities sake.

Well it's closed as we're currently starting this blog together. Satan and I prefer we start it off then we open asks.

As of now it's opened ask anything regarding the AU, we do not accept critical asks, go to @onionbug-critical for critical related things. Unless you do want to talk about critical regarding it.

Since SB quit Tumblr after the incident involving something I cannot name, she has decided to coordinate on Discord where she sends most of the artwork on. That's why there's only I, PS on this blog.

However, she does have creative control over what the posts do, so if you have a question for her, I send in the image to the question and she answers in DMs on Discord. Any answered asks come from with a specific tag.

Differences from OG Sources and Rewrites

Charlie Morningstar and the Morningstar family are canonically not the monarch's of Hell, Satan is the real ruler whose been mystically absent and coincidentally been on and off these past few days disappearing whenever Azazel and the Exorcists comes to play.

Charlie's replacement is the daughter of Satan, Jezebel Morde. She is currently opening up a rehab clinic for the denizens of Hell in order to prove to her father that she can and most certainly will finish her dead line and prove Hell and Azazel Wrong.

Um SB decided that Hell has no WiFi and that it's all replaced with McDonald's WiFi and that Bidets in Hell were replaced with toilets because Lucifer.

This is gonna get me hate but....

WARNING: MY OWN OPINION I RESPECT YOURS BUT PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY HATE.

The thing is, the fandom. The fandom constantly preaches about the virtues of canon x canon and even fanon x canon to the point I feel suffocated, I am primarily first and foremost a oc x canon and selfshipper, anytime I see good art and the tags features a fanon ship. I unlike it.

It's not because I hate the art, I dislike the ships. But then again. Canon ships, stale as shit. VegBul is a overrated ship because of the constant fanservice it gives. I like the idea of a tsundere being tamed, but the fandom doesn't really have any other ideas other than the same plot for a fanfiction, then there's ChiChi x Goku. I hated Chi Chi, still do. And now I hate Goku as well.

Then there's the other ships, 18 and Krillin and the other ones, none of the ships are good, as with the fanon. But this is saying something because I respect y'alls hussle but it's not for me, it's leagues better than Hazbin however.

The shipping aspect of the side is just stale.

Then there's Frieza x Cell and or Frieza x Yamcha that I do not really see happening, Frieza being paired with Cell feels like selfcest, and at worst incest. Frieza complimented Yamcha and all of a sudden it's seen as gay? Like I mean, I am a man who calls my fellow guys handsome does that make me and that person gay? But yeah, whatever go ahead I love a crackship, no I am serious I do. But the idea of them being together isn't really my idea.

Then there's the Launch x Raditz ship, which to be honest is because a famous DBZTuber's thing. Let's face it, no one would have shipped them together if MaskoX didn't make that series at all. It falls under crackship as well, so I don't really care for it as much as everything else.

Perhaps the issue is, the fact I hate all the hero characters. I never really liked any of them even the turned good heros. They all are generic and have the same MO, fight bad guys and keep Earth safe. Goku is a good character in that regard, but the fact the Son Family ALWAYS somehow gets Ws is astondishing.

Then there's VEGETA, someone I first laid eyes on in 2019. I selfsjipped with him. But stopped after something else. I grew to dislike him for a reason I will not be sharing.

Then there's Bulma who was shaping up to be the less disliked character in my opinion. But sadly her cahracter is a stereotype of smart and rich female, that Chi Chi is jealous of. I like Bulma but overtime it's just became obnoxious.

Then there's Yamcha the fandoms punching bag and who people pair with Frieza because it's cute, I don't know, he Tien and some other characters barely appear in anything anymore because of the fact that they've been sidelined.

I think the problem is I like the nouned villains. Most of my work surrounds them, I don't want another DBZ Show, I want a godamn villain show where they all have their own wacky adventures.

I don't mean TFS HFIL as I am tired of people recommending me Abridged and TFS, no hate to anyone here but I don't find the appeal in that. I just don't really get to see why I can't be content with canon content featuring villians.

Then perhaps the worst of all, is the fact the kids, the kids in DBZ are underutilized. There's NOTHING beyond Gohan these kids have, it's always the adults, and not the kids. The main reason why Gohan never married Videl in most of my fics is, that Videl was just... Someone who was bland, never liked Satan either, nor did I like Pan. Why should I care for a character who the narrative never treated well, who, like Bulla is for gooner bait (Which is fucked up) and not treated well. I Don't care for Goten or Trunks either because they also get the same treatment.

"But if you feel like they don't get treatment, then why don't you give them it in your rewrite?"

Here's the thing, if they wanted me to care for the characters, then they should have them be more integral to the plot rather then the fact of being a burden or nothing.

Why should I care if the writers don't care? Yeah, I know, so that's why I avoid canon ships and fanon ships and try to write my own things.

I hate fucking writing whats the point of writing if no one gives a fuck about what I do? Oh wait because "Huurrr durr u write OCs erryday and all day." I'm tired of seeing the same boring ass Canon x Canon slop, like no offense, it's the same, ends the same and its literally nothing different.

Sometimes we need to support OC x Canon and Selfshippers x Canon and being diverse against those things are not gonna support people. People miss out on great authors by ignoring or scrolling past the works.

I don't care if you think it sucks, at least indulge in people's writings most of us work as hard as canon x canon and it's devestating to know people don't care for oc x canon because of some "people"

Being partial to things like that is what sets off people and discourages them from ever daring to write again. Most of the time they just disappear and no one cares and you're left wondering where they are. Here it is.

Back to Cell's headcanon, because I love sharing my version with Cell and getting no feedback or people interested </3

So, I had people complain a lot of my version of Cell being "different" it's because of the two following things.

I actually watched and read the manga and never did TFS/Abridged/HFIL before hand because I am tired of people being rude.

I actually take into account the characters flaws and improve on them based on what they are suffering with.

Cell can become good if he applies himself, the problem is, he had no reason to. The issue was, that he was given free will and he broke that free will to go do whatever, and I feel if he had a reason like Vegeta to fight and behave he'd probably be redeemed faster.

The thing is, I always envision him once he mellows out as someone who still retains his insufferability but the same time, he's just... Calm and collected. Cell is a great singer. Something I never mentioned in the initial Cell Headcanons I had. Frank Sinatra is TFS' thing, I don't like using others ideas at all, I think Cell is more on the type of Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars or even The Weeknd, I had him sing Perfect by Ed Sheeran (which is me and him's national anthem.)

There's a reason why I chose Cell, it's because I suffer from the same issues as him, focusing on oneself, perfection and image issues and even though he doesn't seem like it, I know most of it boils down to insecurity and potential narcissism. Not close to NPD because I don't think he has that and I don't have the right to claim he does. He's just a Narcissist plain and simple without the label and diagnosis.

I feel if we were going to redeem him, we have to actually first and foremost focus on his unwarrented self importance and dig in deep to his roots of his insecurity and mask, Cell is very good at masking I know that, but deep down he probably feels like his purpose no longer is needed, Dr. Gero gave him life and given him one task which he deviated from, something that 17 and 18 took a long time to do. It didn't help that he also had to deal with being killed by his mortal enemies child, I would focus on his journey and potentially healing. While HFIL Mansion may be on hold, HFIL: The Definitive Series will take the torch. Thank you for reading this. Ask any questions and I would talk about it.

Redeemed Cell was allowed to live as long as he stayed out of trouble unfortunately since Orion begged for him to be spared she had to brunt the force of overseeing his redemption that means she has to have him live with her and she doesn't want that.

Sadly the living arangements aren't even good. It's literally enemies to tolerated to FWB to Awkward to Lovers.

The Three New Villains for Dragon Ball Ultra!

Well finally I finished designing the three big bads. Here they are.

The way this goes, is this is villains based off of existing and different canon things. So ask me more about them! ^^

So here the names.

Amob (The Main Antagonist)

Niguribu (Amob's Second In Command, her whole behavior won't be exposed here because I want it to be a surprise.)

Shishu (The Fallen Supreme Kai)

Here's information revolving around them:

Amob was a G.O.D. created in Universe 7 by Orion's mother Aeliera to be a way to test what Dr. Gero did, Amob was at first a android that mirrored Cell's existence, rather than be destructive he was originally opposite from what his inspiration was, to bring actual love and Joy.

Let's make it clear, Amob did NOT have any sort of free will, meaning he was locked in a state where he cannot theoretically think for himself rather doing what he was programmed to do meaning he couldn't think for himself due to his own programming.

He really loved Orion and Aeliera even referring to Aeliera as Mother and Orion as Sister. Overtime things begin to change when he ended up catching Aeliera talk to the other Kais and even many people, involving Amob stating she was "Still trying to test him" and "We'll be fixing the kinks out."

He learned he didn't have the ability to think for himself. Meaning he had no autonomy,

He confronted Aeliera with this and she denied and tried to state he was "just an experiment" and that "he's meant to serve her" Amob was horrified he had lived a lie and learned how to reprogram himself, this led to dire consequences as she sealed him away in one of the Kais old seals. And until adfter Moro's Defeat he managed to escape.

Days prior, he managed to train and gather a cult following in the Demon Realm (Where he managed to retreat) and this is where he met his Second In Command Niguribu.

Niguribu is one of the many Grand Priests kids, who was supposedly supposed to be the revived Universe 14's Angel, until she was once again rejected, when Amob showed himself, as the New G.O.D. she decided to follow him and this caused issues with Grand Priest. This Saga introduces the concept of Fallen Angels because she is a Fallen Angel she was sent to the Demon Realm where she was not permitted to ever return to see Grand Priest, younger than Merus, she was dedicated to serving whom she believed was her G.O.D.

Last but not least.

Shishu, Shishu is a Kai born from a alternative fruit tree that is alternative to the Glind Tree in most circumstances, Shishu is very calculating and cruel oftentimes listening to what Amob says and being stragestic. She's often the voice of reason when Amob loses his mind.

Being the logical one in the bunch she's always off spying on the Dragon Team, and even later formed a crush on Yamcha. Shishu is very much someone who can be redeemed but chose to follow Amob with the promise of being spared but she knows that Amob will betray her which is why she started betraying him first.
