Random idea thing I had

So I think I remember someone saying that it seemed like the Matrix fused to Optimus’ spark in TF One, so with that concept, I imagine the whole taking out the Matrix thing to be sort of like Bluetooth

Like he can take it out and if it’s at a short distance, he’ll be fine. But take it too far away from him, and he basically just drops dead. He’ll probably be revived if you put the Matrix back in his chest

But like I imagine all his friends being absolutely terrified the first time this happens. They decide to have the Matrix taken elsewhere to be studied or something and he just suddenly drops and greys. They try putting it back and it works, but now they realize he’s kind of gotta be around the thing at all times, or at least they assume that’s how they prevent this

#could maybe also use it for angst things like Megatron taking the Matrix in hopes it’ll bring back Orion or something #only for Optimus to completely fall dead and Megatron realizes he literally can’t be without the Matrix now #probably making him hate it even more #and also probably the Matrix isn’t getting passed down without him dying #but yeah idk a concept #it’s kind of for the funnies like he’s just got a cool trick to drop dead #but you know it can very easily be used for angst #transformers #transformers one #optimus prime #matrix of leadership #random stuff
