also like... i know bioware have said that the hawke vs. the warden decision in here lies the abyss isn't going to matter for veilguard ( which is a weird decision to me seeing as varric plays a role in this game, however small it ultimately ends up being, but w/e ), but if it's not gonna get referenced at all then i almost want to run with the hawke sacrifice version being canon to me ( unless i write with a hawke or otherwise have a reason to keep them alive ofc ), because it just makes sense to me in the context of everything i've seen so far

Not in a romantic way, so no one needs to go feel uncomfortable, but yall mean a lot to me. Some of yall have become some of the dearest people to me, and I enjoy getting to talk to you or seeing a message come in from you. Even if it's just a meme. The fact that people can see something and think of me to send it to me means more than I know to say in words.

But you're all tough as fuck. You got that? You've all been through some shit, some heartbreaking and patience trying type shit, but here you are. Even after you've likely thought at least once about giving up in some way shape or form. But you didn't. And I'm so so so proud of you for that. And I hope every day, every single day that you get to bring joy to people by waking up, even if just one person, that you get to smile. That you get to be reminded that even if you think no one does, someone out there cares and wants only the best for you.

So this thing called life? You're kicking its ass, and you better keep that going. Get that degree, aim for that promotion, give that dream you put on the backburner a shot, do whatever it takes to make you happy and don't let anyone, anyone, tell you otherwise or put you down. If they don't like your happiness, they can go wallow in their own self misery and be jealous of how far you've come.

imo good character-establishing things to have for pcs are like

- the usual why are they on this adventure, why are they w this group, etc

- what's one personality trait that drives them to do the stupid but fun thing

- what's one aspect that might make them act in ways contrary to how they do normally (including Not doing the stupid thing if it wouldn't be fun)

that last one is beneficial for the collaborative aspect of ttrpgs: if everyone else wants to do x, & as a player u wanna cooperate but ur pc would be opposed, how can u navigate that? there's still times to dig ur heels in, but often I've found more value in establishing Why or How my character can be convinced to go along w smth anyway

also just. ppl contradict themselves sometimes, & having even a simple sense of that in ur pcs can both make rp richer & assist in collaborating w the other ppl at ur table

Maya é praticamente um pirata ou um opala, a referência que preferir aplicar a ela e que seja justa com a quantidade de álcool que consome, ou que poderia consumir se estivesse num lugar com acesso melhor e diversidade maior. É conhecido que o tempo que ela trabalho num bar, foi justamente para aproveitar uma vez ou outra das bebidas gratuitas, mas nada em horário de trabalho obviamente. Quanto a uma bebida favorita, isso é um pouco complicado, pois ela gosta de destilados num geral: vodka, gin, whisky, dentre outros. Do mesmo jeito, ela não consegue dispensar uma boa cervejinha, principalmente como relaxante em dias mais corridos, mas que ela precisa acordar na manhã seguinte sem a sensação de que um trator passou por cima do corpo, que é o efeito que os destilados costumam deixar no seu corpo. O drink favorito é o whiskey sour por ser um pouco cítrico, refrescante e não tão doce. E, por mais que não tenha sido perguntado, ela não é muito chegada em vinhos. Claro que toma, mas não com tanta frequência.
